Luaith: I hear tri-lobal plants are much sought after because you have 3 potential budsites at every node instead of two. Hang onto that girl if it's decently vigorous and potent.

Orion: Sorry, I know you told me that you only ran phosphoload for a couple days then flushed it out. I was just thinking that, since it's supposed to make buds bigger, wouldn't you run it longer or run it again? Aren't most of those big bud/blossom blaster type products meant to be run for several weeks or more? I'm still thinking of getting the phosphoload, especially for stretchy sativas. Do you think it's worth the expense? There's like tons of additives and supplements out there, all claiming to make your buds bigger; I used to think they were hype.
I love your shots, thanks for taking the time to take pictures and post them. I think the AK is going to be very nice. People keep talking about a cherry pheno in AK, maybe you'll find it...
BTW, what's the smell like in the flower room? You must have to use some strong odor control for that...:rasta:

Boevo: I'd love to see pics of your harvests; let us know what the specs were on your grow also (soil, hydro, coco, wattage etc). Always like to compare notes on different styles..:joint:

Luaith: That's one smooth looking blunt. What strain is that? What's the smoke like? Cool looking stash jar btw...

Retardo: I have to start throwing up more pics, even the ones I'm not proud of. It's hard for me to get really good shots, I don't have a macro lens and I have a hard time framing the shots in a pleasing manner. I'll get better at it though as I get more experience. Doesn't help that I'm lazy. :rasta:
Seriously though, this hobby's a lot of work. Once I check my ph and ec, mix nutes/ph down or up, recheck ph and ec, check trichomes, take clones (sometimes), get rid of dead leaves, etc I either don't feel like taking pics or just plain forget. :violin: But I gotta help contribute to this thread for all of our midwest crew. :rasta:

Reddy: Welcome to our little midwest crew!
I have some MaT freebies. I was thinking of popping them to find a dreamgoddess pheno. Is it a heavy, knockout indica stone? Love the white ash, btw. U growing strictly organic?
Was that fly stuck to your bud? Was it still alive? I've never seen that. I have seen a couple dead flies on the floor of my indoor grow and was wondering what killed them. Did they land on my plants and get intoxicated/poisoned by the THC? I would think not, since THC is extremely non-toxic... :joint:

Raythat: Deeeee-troit in the house! Is your mayor out of jail yet? You know a city's bad when even the mayor's getting locked up. :rasta:
The EPK and sugar blossom look really bushy. You topped/fimmed those? Is that coco or a soil mix? Those plants look pretty big compared to the size of your pots, that's pretty impressive. Is this your first run or do you have a smoke report. I've always been interested in Canadian genetics....

Hey thanx Bababooey this is my second run with both epk and sugarblossom they are in 3 gallon buckets in coco topped and tied down under a digital 600 watt all fox farm nutrient I think my favs gotta be the epk at first I didnt like how slow she was in veg but when in flower she speeds up a bit yield is a little above average the high is killer had a nice vanilla taste to it didn't purple up much I had heat problems hopefully I can get sum nice colors this go round as for the sugarblossom whitewidow/genius very vigorous and bushy not to much stretch in flower don't like a lot of nuti nice smoke got a full on body buzzz it has me talking all nigh lacks in the taste department and has a very low ceiling
i am going let her go 9.5 weeks this go round and the Mayor has to do 5 months yes things are crazy around here but the good news is PROPOSAL 1 HOPE EVERY ONE IN MICHIGAN VOTING YES !!!!!! So we can change the Murder City into the M.U.R.D.A.City

Bababooey-it's not heavy stone at all. i smoke it at work all day. keeps me very focused and functioning at "high" levels. a week or two later harvest date makes it better before bedtime. i love the high but you've got to switch it up because you can get tolerant quick.

i do a mix of organic and refined nutrients with a 2 week flush, gives a great taste. people seem to always compliment the smoothness of my herb.

the dead fly must of tried to land and couldn't free itself. it's very very sticky weed. hence the name flytrap. you can suspend a fresh nug upside down with your finger. hope the clone makes its way around the midwest for those interested in trying a true hashplant.

how's everyone's outdoor crops doing? i haven't checked mine. 4 inches of rain in 48 hours here.

Whatsup guys,
Been a hot summer but thankfully everything stayed pretty cool where it counts. Worked on some DSD over the summer along with a couple more random ongoing projects. We help a patient or two with setups to meet their needs, doing what we can for the local community.

Currently running some Jock Horrors & ICE from seed too, kept some papas to do some digging, suppose we'll see what turns up this winter,

Heres a few of the summer adventures..

Variety of DSD cuts, sitting in one of the usual 6piece tubblers around here. Gotta wait on the dry product from the donors to figure out which might be a kepper ;)

Here's one of the current Jock ladies,

ICE, these hit flowering a week before the Jocks.

Couple DSD shots,

Alpha Diesel Males, 4/4 boys but when you got lemons . .

"Whitey" clones, came from some supposed white mustang seeds. slow ass veggers, dank kushtype nuggets.

Lots of people in here are definitely working with some really sick hybrids, you got my respect for running so much variety. Been mostly sticking to pretty wellknown lowcost genetics in the past, and seems like bad luck lately when trying to order from abroad.. I'm sure others here know what I mean, seems the midwest has it worse than anyone else in that regard.

With all the males recently (and the new efforts made to keep & abuse them properly) maybe there won't be a need to order seeds for awhile,, gonna be plenty to test in about 2 months.

Shit I'm just glad to know theres still a lot of levelheaded people around keeping the smoke alive..

Glad to meet yall, keep it real till next time. :joint:

Raythat: I think you're doing great things with your setup. With coco and LST, you're probably maximizing the potential of your 600W.
I heard that MI was close to approving an medical mj bill. Is there a patient limit to that? The proposed bill in IL has like a 2000 patient limit, statewide. What's the plant count limit? Is it a bare >50% majority to pass?
You know, IL has the same option to put a bill directly on the ballot (for the people to vote on, not the politicians), but only a few politicians control that right (I guess they decide what goes on the ballot, and they won't let med mj be on it). How did the MI bill get on the ballot?

Reddy: That dreamgoddess pheno is ridiculous: it's got frosty LEAVES for gosh sakes. The trim is probably as potent as the buds...
A mix of organic and chem nutes, huh? Do you cut out the chem nutes earlier than two weeks, like 4 weeks?
The two dead flies I saw weren't stuck to my plant. You've got the venus flytrap pheno there, I guess. :rasta:
Was that grown indoors or outdoors? It's gotta be indoors, right? No way a plant could get that frosty outdoors... but if so, I doff my cap to you, good sir.

Oscuridad: Welcome to M.idwest U.nderground R.eefer D.evelopment A.ssociation!
MURDA. We're really quite peaceful though, don't let the name fool you.
Your setup looks a lot like mine: bubbler tubs! I see you're a fellow DWC fan. You tried any other setup? My first was in soil (MG, crappy i know, doesn't even really count as a soil grow) then I moved straight to DWC buckets, now tubs. Do you do DWC because it's fast and productive? I started off good, but I had issues (not enough light, high temps, overnuting etc) but now that those issues are pretty much fixed i'm hoping for quick, explosive growth!
I'm LOL at the pic of that airpump: exact same $8 pump I got at wallyworld. They're like half the price of the other dual outlet airpump that they carry. I was kind of suspicious that it was so cheap, but hey, it's working, and I dont think it works any worse than the more expensive one.
:rasta:
You're setup looks really neat. Do you retape between harvests? My tubs are already covered in dried leaves and water stains. And I use much smaller netpots (2", your's look like 5") and my tubs look bigger, I use the 18 gallon ones, yours look like 13? Is the water level really low in those? I try to keep my water level below the netpot, which is easy to do with a big tub and small netpots...

What's up midwest? Every day there's more and more shit to make a murda member proud, I can't believe some of the shit we got goin' out here.

Here's a little update on my plants, right now I've got 6 vegging under a 40w 2700k and 26w 6500k in my little cab. There was a weak looking runt Pommelo and Hashberry so I culled them today, also surprisingly the first cheMSG that sprouted is looking sort of stunted and the one that I planted a couple of days later is just as big as all of the other plants. I think it's about time for their first feeding tomorrow.

Here are some shots, starting with chemdkush x MSG:

Next two distinct hashberry f2 phenos, one more indica and the other more sativa

And last the two remaining Pommelo, both looking pretty much the same, with some massively broad leaves.

They're all about 3.5 inches. I just fed 'em the first time today, a little 9-4-4 "all purpose" (mix of fish emulsions, bone meal, blood meal and a little iron) and about a dropper full of 10-15-10 Schultz and a few drops of SuperThrive for a gallon. Just put 'em in a big pot and started to add the nute mix from below till its at soil level and thoroughly moist, let it sit a few for any gas pockets to rise to the surface and let them drain for a bit (this part sucks, I don't have a decent rack or place to drain them ATM).

What's up Midwest? Everyone staying dry out there? Been rainy and wet for a few days now here in Nebraska.

@Bird: That's a shame about your OTM, at least the others are doing alright. I don't feel like finding my trimmers, but I would take a picture of them in hand to answer your question : :muahaha: No OTM, but I think you may know what this is ;)

:joint:

@Orioin: Those plants look pretty nice, but is there any way you could take them without the lights on, it's hard to tell how they look with the overall orange color of the photos? That's a pretty ferocious leaf curl ya got on one of those girls. I don't know much about your grow, I'll have to read back some pages and check it out.

And aside from that picture above sorta directed towards bird, here are a couple of shots of some real genetics to play with this time. Thanks so much, you know who you are :rasta:

First a couple of Cannacopia - Pommelo seedlings, there's also going to be some test growers for Cannacopia seeds here on IC so be sure to check them out when they get started. I don't mean to advertise or anything but there was all this BS about HD (sorta) and cannacopia and now people are going to test them out so the naysayers can STFU.

And a Mandala's Hashberry F2 seedling for comparison

welcome to ic :rasta:
