Luaith: Ohmigod, luaith's got the CHEESE!!! CHEEEEEEEEZZZZE!!!
Great-looking packaging btw. I fully expect those cuts to be overwhelming your odor control in about two months.. :muahaha:

Pokerman: I think (and since I don't know what I'm talking about, I could very well be wrong :joint:) but I THINK the UK Cheese is a Skunk pheno? Luaith, can you confirm?
And yes, you can be a member of M.U.R.D.A., but only if you kill.....
a bowl in one hit. :rasta:
Murdapolis in the house! Ya'll aint got nothing on Chee-cago though. I saw a dead body a couple months ago; well, not really, there was a white sheet over him, he was an innocent bystander in a gang related shooting. :fsu:
This is why we'd all be safer if gangbangers would take shooting lessons...

LIE: Those little cherubs you got there look lovely, like little lettuce heads. I'm thinking they're dying to bust out so you need to transplant those ASAP! I know, I know, it's hard to find the time (this hobby is just so much WORK) but those girls are just begging to produce beautiful, dense, huge buds for you. Plus I'm interested to see the variation in them as they flower...
From a bagseed grow to several dank strains, you've come a long way, baby... :rasta:

DrG - amazing shots, looks like some major effort putting that patch together. Huge respect bro.

luaith - Seems like you're always working on something new & dank. That SSH might be findin its shoes a little tight but it still looks picture perfect. Can't wait to see how the cheese likes the midwest air.. glad to see it dropping aroundabouts.

Baba - Yeah we ran a lot of soil gals for about 5 years off & on until the first time some mites ruined a room. Cleaned up and rebuilt and decided to try some 2 gallon DWC buckets as an experiment. ended up running a bunch of KillaQueens from Mota and you can guess the rest.. insane vigor, amazing yields & absolutely none of that "harsh chemmy" nonsense that people love to talk about hydro. We were sold on the waterworks like that.. just took trying it once :muahaha:
We tried deep rubbermaid tubs for a while and had so many problems we almost went back to dirt.. likely problem was we were running botanicare PBP nutes (had so much left over from the soil days) and the organic ingredients tended to settle in a big hot mess on the bottom of the buckets. Without recirc, big tubs just never seemed to work consistently well enough to make us happy.
Well we switched over to shallow-water tubs, the underbed type (usually about 30Qt,) in the last year and also switched over to GH 3part nutes. We use both the 3" and 5.5" nets, with a little repotting trick, solving the "descending rootball" issue which we feel can result in a lot of issues in DWC. So far, the system we have setup seems to work great.. you'll see more as time passes.

We will also be trying a few soil projects again soon, as we still have some interest there. Just gotta wait and see how a few of the current ones finish up to see if we have a keeper or two for the winter months.

Few updates, recent shots..

Jock girls, 3 varying looks.

ICE, 2 gals.

a DWC SOG of a favorite Colombian Red x White Widow cut,

And finally just a shot of some freshly dropped Whitey cuts, maybe about 2 weeks in. Pretty stubborn little girls.

Love the work you guys are putting in.. definitely stoked to see what everyone throws down this winter. Hope you guys dig what we're doing too.. it'd be an honor to be a regular part of the crew here.

See you all in a couple, Keep on doin it right. :joint:

Dr. G: Nice plants! Love those bushy christmas trees!
You think they got another month to go? Maybe you can let them go into November if it stays dry and temperate enough...
Do you turn the trim into hash? What about any buds into hash? I tell you, if I had a decent outdoor patch, I'd grow 10lbs and turn it all into a pound of hash. :rasta:

Luaith: That poor SSH cut is yearning for the flowering room! You have to find time/space for that girl, I hear SSH is in many people's top 5. You need a good panic-inducing strain in your warchest...

Raythat: I think we need to be capable of clearing one gram in a single hit. Check out this guy, hashbean420, he's in Denmark or some country.
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vJ5uheHYA4w
This is a vid of him clearing 1.2g in a single rip. Now mind you, doing something like that is probably pretty unpleasant, but you will possibly be higher than you have ever been in your entire life.
I don't advocate doing this because it's more for showmanship than anything else, but it does look pretty damn cool. For a skinny guy, he's got lungs like a racehorse. :rasta:

Oscuridad: I'm running GH Lucas Formula, micro and bloom. I think my next nute purchase will be GH floranova, which is basically lucas formula in one bottle.
What kind of concentrations are you running? Lucas recommends 8ml micro and 16ml bloom (per gallon) during full flower, but I find that's way too strong.
Are you running any supplements? I'm thinking of getting phosphoload, a poster in this thread said it stops stretch immediately and gives a good jump start on bud production...
I'd like to hear more about your 'descending' rootball issue (what do you mean by it, what problems it gave you, etc) as well as your repotting trick. I'm trying to dial in this dwc, I'm thinking if all is right, with only one week of veg under flouros, and a scrog screen, I could possibly pull 8 zips from a tub after 60 days of flower.. :joint:

Nice work Bird! It must have been really hard work reppin for all of us out there with the long hours and business at hand! Musta been a blast. Sorry to hear about your timer though. And the FFA just got done looking it up...berries n skunk + yet unidentified flavor funk soundz very intriguing to say the least!
Luaith is that the SSH cut that was all beat up? Looking great now! Howz the SSS coming along? Hope y'all out there in the midwest had a great weekend.

Damn bird, sorry to hear that. Why is it that shit always fails on us when were not around to notice for awhile?

Anyhow, the rest of the midwest is looking terrific. Here's how my 5 are looking, they'll get the switch to 12/12 next couple of days. First up the Pommelos:

Now the hashberry f2s, these guys/gals are sorta picky, one looks like it's suffering a slight def, the more sativa pheno one looks a little burned.

And now the chemDkush x MSG:

There's a slight close up shot of each in my gallery, just sorta zoomed in. These 5 stink too, much more than the flowering plant did a couple of weeks ago. The more sativa HB smells so unbelievably great, really floral hashy with sorta mocha kind of undertones. Man I hope that ones a girl.

Raythat: Those sugarblossums are looking nice, filling in all up and down the stem. Dense, tight buds, hmmm...
Thanks for the link. Proposal 1 sounds pretty awesome. I hope they expand the list to include general pain, nausea or anxiety (sucks when you have to have a terminal or near terminal illness to get a recommendation). 12 plant limit? That's a little small, but doable. Can still grow quite a bit of meds. But only 2.5 ozs of bud per patient? That's a little...low it seems to me like. But better something than nothing. Guess that would be pretty tricky to enforce too. So long as you're not flaunting pounds and growing dozens and dozens you should be ok. :joint:

Luaith: The SSH is looking happy in its new home! How much is FFOF? You ever reuse it for the next round?

ABITA: Man, I just found out that Vegas nugs and jugs went down this past weekend! Been to Vegas twice in my life, nice town, can get expensive with the gambling and the strip clubs.. :rasta:
Did you smoke some of the best herb this side of Amsterdam?
Sorry to hear about your timer. The storm popped the breaker? I guess we'll never get that TW comparison... :fsu:

LIE: Those plants look robust. You're using a sog method, similar to Dr. BudGreenGenes? You take clones of those?
I know what you mean by the mocha undertones, to me a lot of what I'm growing has coffee and/or chocolate undertones. Maybe that's just my sense of smell...

Harvested my NYCD's today (F2's from AnnaC). Really overnuted these so they took way too long to finish :spank: I'll be better next time now that I got an ec meter.

Part of the harvest.

Total harvest. Lot of small popcorn buds :violin: Dense and sticky though. Maybe a couple zips?

Got a nice little ball of finger hash from it though. :rasta:

Took one small hit of it, it was melty goodness. :headbange I think that little ball will last me for a few days...

Here's the trim that I'm planning to use for a bubble run later this year. Some small buds in there too. It's in the freezer now.

hey retardo...no the little ssh runt is still in the cup...gonna wait a little more till i trans her..

babba..yeah she's digging her new home..FFOF is about 20$ per bag.
but the usual place i order from stopped sending.
so the new place i ordered from, well it cost more in shipping then the dirt...so im going to have to come up with a new plan.
and yes i do recycle the soil..i break it up and try to take out most of the root mass..
usually 2 grows...

the TW comparison will still happen, they were all done before i left, just not all chopped down all of the way, the 2 sativa phenos that i wanted to go a little bit longer wont make it though. confirmed ealier that the are both ffa and sourbub, so i got to get to rooting em. watching all the self made crosses that had been worked and dialed in at nugs n jugs has inspired me to bang out some chemSG for the next one, fun times :joint:

sup abirdintheair, glad to hear the tw comparison will still happen..i gotta woodhorse trainwreck and want to know how it compares to other trainwreck versions...

Hello guys. Big hello from Minnesnowta. Hydro guy here, just starting to dial in outdoors too. Not an easy task with our frost-line.
Peace.
