Microwido's Grow 800w CMH

Day 44

Day 44

Today I realized how huge these things are lol :rasta: . I am switching to 12/12 tomorrow, any more veg and I will surely be out of room after stretch.

I would say light penetration from the CMH is pretty damn good. Even through the thickest of it, some light gets through.

I am using Dutch Master Gold A + B growth nutrients. I also use Shultz 10-15-10 when I see some yellowing, and it clears it right up. I will be using Flora Nova coming tomorrow.

And for the pics....

Upload temporarily disabled.

Day 47

Day 47

Been on 12/12 lighting since Day 45. The plants now smell twice as much as they did just a few days ago.

Today was a big day for me, I took my 1st clones ever. My intention was to take 12 of just the WW's, but cloning is fun! I couldn't stop and ended up getting 16 clones, 12 of the WW's and 1 from each of the other bag seeds. I believe I was born to do this, I think I will probably have a 100% survival rate.

Plant labels: (for my reference)

1.- = big and tall WW
1 = tallest WW
2 = 2nd tallest WW
3 = 3rd tallest WW
B = Bushy
14 = 14 finger plant
T = Tallest

Picture upload is still down, I have lots of pictures to update.

Day 50

Day 50

Day 6 of 12/12.

Everything is going well. The plant closest to you in the main pic is exactly 4 feet tall, after having the top tied down multiple times. The plant in the back right is also 4 feet tall and like 5 feet around. These plants are out growing my room!

I took clones about 72 hours ago and they look alive as the day I cut them. I felt really good about how the transplant went. I used Mylar blankets and adhesive spray to create that reflective tub. Also it has a humidity dome on it but I took it off for picture.

Tieing down the top creates lots of top colas!

Wow! Things are looking amazing. Good job man. 800W of CMH. I love it.

your plants look fuckin amazing dude! your doing a great job at keeping them healthy!

i can't wait to see the cola's those bends produce. the first plant i bent over like that blew my mind, and a light went on in my head "WHY NOT USE VERTICAL LIGHT INSTEAD OF VERTICAL PLANT?". i threw out my reflectors and made some cool tubes, best move i've made. it's easier to penetrate a super thick bush like those from the side. if you made a circle with your plants and hung the lights in the middle, giving the plants a little turn every few days i bet you would start a trend. the CMH is a bad mofo but those would take a 1000w to get the bottom nugs to be anything more than hash material.

to each their own, but i have had very positive results with vertical lights. just my advise from one grower to another, i feel you might loose out on some potential weight with the lights over top. if it was me i'd cut at least the lower 1/2 of the plant to reserve that energy for the top growth if i had overhead light. popcorn nugs take longer to trim, don't look as nice, and don't smoke as nice as a fully developed top.

just my .02, keep up the good work! :wave:

stke - Only time will tell. I get pretty good light penetration, and I know the lower buds will produce. My plan was to augment with Floros on the side, but its not that practical because i can barely get to the plants to water as is. There is no way i could get to the plants if I made a circle. You have a good idea, but wouldnt work in this scenario. Oh, and there will be 0 popcorn nugs my friend, every lower has like 10 bud sites that will all morph into 1 large bug per off shoot. :jump:

2cool - There is no trich production this early into flower... :nono:

hows the trich production on with those cmh?

People are reporting better resin/trichome production using the CMH for the most part. Denser nugs too. I have read one thread that said otherwise in reference to the density.

I can't wait to flower.

Day 51

Day 51

So I realized I nute burned a few plants alittle ;( Nothing serious but I feel stupid.

Have you seen anyone twist the top of the plant to go around like a spiral staircase? If not, I hereby Officially claim the technique "Spiral Stair casing". Copyright Microwido* :rasta:

Look how many shoots are visible from the top

And a picture of the whole plant

And finally a shot over the middle of the room thats out of focus, just because I bothered to upload it.

I hate to burst your bubble but what are you going to do when the plants stretch 2-3 times their height now when you put them in 12/12? They don't call it "the stretch" for nothing!

Longer Veg = Less stretch.

In the past I grew to 4ft in veg, and it ended up at 5ft.

Day 54

Day 54

Day 10 of 12/12. Today is the 1st day I have seen any sign of buds starting to actually form. The Calyses have double in number is that sign.

Day 56

Day 56

Day 12 of flower.

Flora Nova is a retarded strong fertilizer. I used the lowest recommended dosage and that was way to much. I have been on plain water for a week now and there finally recovered.
