£1.50 tomato grow bag soil, perlite & chickin shit. works out about £2 per 50L of complete mix. I then use canna terra vega & flores when needed.

Im the same with you on the fruity ones, not my thing. Its all about the stinky ones.

make sure you leave your mi5 that little bit longer or you will be getting some of that no good racey paronoid smoke. leave it longer and you wont want to smoke anything else again. try and smoke your fruity ones first, if you smoke the stinky ones first the fruity ones will seem inferior

I forgot to say......

I switched the lights to 12\12 3 days ago as im flowering my (amnesia x blue cheese) x Mi5 f1's, the hbds have really fattened up fast and put on an alarming amount of crystals and the smell is unreal the room has the sweetest smell I ever smelt, but brush against the buds and your instantly overwelmed by the overpowering diesel smell. Im definetly going to give al my girls 12\12 for the last week or 2 from now on, if your reading this give it a try and notice the difference after just a few days.....

WOW! just got through reading this entire journal in 3hrs......great info & beautiful girlz.....I too will be staring my HBD's, Sour60's, Blue streak & for good measure, some Purple jem's in a week.....
oh, good to know about those predators too!! I was just thinking about getting some ladybugs myself...Do you need a diff. predator for each type of pest???

Upto: Yeah different preds will eat different bugs. For me i use predatory nematodes below ground and predatory mites for above. That covers pretty common infestations. how-ever i caution against one size fits all approatches. If you get bugs find the correct one to fight it.

Dargo: I can't belive that's just soil.. For some reason since the start of the thread i thought you were growing in coco.. Even more impressed now . My patience for my Mi5's to finish just got shorter. You let yours go 80 days? Have you gone longer?

Can you emagin the size these would get if you had them in hydro... I bet you could touch a qp per moma with a dialed in system.

hey dargo, just wondering how has the reverse worked out for ya??thinking about getting some myself...especially since I too will be dealing with 4 strains from the Short Stuff line....

what ever happened i cant knock the end results of the Mi5's i just hope the kush and hbd turn out the same. oh well atleast i get to try out the dutchmaster reverse.

I had to use it again yesterday as the a couple of the fem mi5 i got in the greenhouse hermied same as the other times all starting on the 4th internode. nothing else in there has hermied, everything looks happy.

i think im going to use it on all my hbd and mi5 as a preventative, dosnt matter if they show signs of hermieing or not. better safe then seeded!

What the story with the MI5's hermie'in bro, got me a bit worried now, as ive got some fem's myself, do you recommend the reverse then as a preventative, what do you mean if they show signs of hermie? is it you aint bothered because you have the Reverse to put it right, sorry i dont quite get what you saying bro'. if so i'll get some myself. What are the implications of using it though, doesent it stop the plant from growing out any more, either up or out!??? Whats your advise man?

I think its around week 5 when they hermied, all on seperate grows. I had it with both fems and regs, my mi5 seed run girl was the only on that didnt hermie. Pick them off and they wont come back, just seems to be something they do on the 4th intrernode around week 5. I didnt dm reverse the ones in the greenhouse as I wanted to see if it was my setup or the genetics. I picked them off and duch masyer reversed just to be on the safe side, il do it again when they get to fat to be able to see hiden bananas.

If you get some of the stinky ak47 phenos you will understand why its worth going the extra mile to grow it.

I just been using reverse, its worked for me without needing penatrator aswell. I got a male that im going to use it on untill the girls are ready for a pollen hit

I'm a bit confused...if you use it on a male will it stall the sacs from opening??? OR will it make the pollen "female pollen"???

Hey guys, I used reverse when I was dealing with a Lowlife White Russian and Lowlife Lemon Skunks, both strains I had read about probs with herms, so I used Reverse, mixed w/Penetrator. sprayed them with Reverse on day 1 and 10 of flower. No difference, I had 1-3 WRs and 2-2 LS that hermed anyway. A waste of $, IMHO! I know it is strain issue, and in my last 3 grows without it, no issues at all. But, I tossed the remains of the bottle. Just my 2 cents worth. I saw a thread on another site, stating the same thing, and even longer testing was done, on many strains that tend to herm! Hope this was helpful. p

Cant you see the millions of mites and eggs under the leaf and all the webs on the edge of the leaf in the top left of the photo. they sucked the life out of her. I sopose it dosnt look to bad considering the beating shes taken, but she could be twice the size had she not gotten infested and had I not broken my ph meter.


You should have applyed the reverse as soon as you seen them hermie and the balls would have stopped growing and anything on your plant would drop off. but atleast I know now that if im using it as a preventative il need to use it more than every 7 weeks
