I remember seeing Farmaz2's pictures long time ago. He was the one who inspired me to do a cornfield grow (and your threads too!), prop to that guy...too bad he left this website


I just made a bid on your Leb27 seeds. There's not a lot of information about that strain. Since I've been hearing things about how early strain doesn't have any potency compares to other strain that finish later in September/October. I wonder if it's true for Leb27?

I just really like the strain because of the color they change at the end of season. It's a beautiful plant, especially when it changes green to black/purple.

By the way, I'm in 39* latitudes. As I recalled, leb27 will harvest earlier in my latitudes, right? I'm hoping it will finish before September 20th (cornfields around here harvest in late September - sometime early august if it's silage).

farmaz2 had some really nice pix and very valuable input in my corn grow discussion thread so its ad hes gone but i took a lot of good pictures from that thread, included them from farmaz2 and posted them al together in this thread, think its on the current page

regarding leb27
it finishes here at 56 north at end September sometimes early October
i harvested mines last year at end September full of seeds
cause of the seeds they could have gone a week or 2 more but i had to chop cause farmers harvests here at start october
i had less then 50% mature seeds for same reason
when i harvested the Early Dane field a few days before that i had at least 90 mature seeds although i had a lot less plants
leb27 potency ranges from below to above average, much depends on which pheno
regarding when it might be harvested at your latitude
well i dont know and cant give any garantess but i would advice on reading in this good thread by Backcountry http://www.icmag.com/ic/showthread.php?t=63715
also the last pages where im posting link to a daytime chart and doing some examples and comparisons regarding daytime length and harvest

About leb27 ...is a strain that came to dk for about 30 years ago and since that it have been kultivatet for dk klima...she is fast,smelly and big but the smoke is not the best ...imo its some of the lowest potens i ewer have try, well Ruderalis dont beat it hehe

About the coulor change its because of its getting cold and its allso her funeral suit tells you she is almost ready to be axed
Leb27 would be awesome whit some high potens stoner indica breed in her but size and yield must not be lesser because this girl really can yield...

as i said when posting these pix they are from various others growers
ive not been around in ppl's private galleries to "steal" or anything else
all the pictures included are from ppl submitting them them selfs in my current corn field thread or submitting corn field pix from google or news
please investigate a little before coming on my thread with accusations and claims like that, or keep your negative karma somewhere else


regarding leb27 potency
she isnt the strongest but it all depends on which pheno
some are below average in potency, some a little above
it all depends on which pheno you smoke
if ppl see's her as low potency they either smoked one of the weaker phenoes or had expectations for a knock down indica stoner
the strongest pheno is no knockdown either
she has a very pleasant sativa up high, a sure daytime smoke
where she has most her potential is in crosses if you ask me

i had this beautiful babe in my garden last year
very potent and yielded more than a pound
she was around 2,5 meters high and 2 meters wide and the cross was made by a fellow dane

i liked her so much that im going to do my owm crossings with her from collected pollen later in the season

leb27 x fat russian i think would be great ( fat russian = white russian x chronic)
although too late for corn fields it might turn out a very potent guerrilla cross with good harvest
time will tell

just be aware on when they spray the corn for weeds and harvest dates in your area

ive used a few examples of good corn grows from pictures ppl themselfs have submitted in my corn field thread
i dont claim i took them my self or similar
should a person decide that after having submitted them them selfs that they have second thoughts about them im sure they would send me a pm with their thoughts and i would of course remove them immediately
i cant see why this is any of your business as ppl have submitted them them selfs and i did no claiming otherwise and no ppl have contacted me saying otherwise but you
if any of the pictures is yours and you submitted them by mistake ill correct this of course but i dont need your negative vibes in my thread for that reason
if a person behind one of the pictures has any second thoughts about having submitted it im sure he would contact me regarding this and it would be removed

Regarding to posting other people pictures. I recall that Dutchgrown said it's ok to use other people as long as you keep it on icmag server or something like that. Similar incident happened a while ago when someone used everyone pictures into video and posted it on youtube. That person got banned for it because he was putting everyone in the risk.

I dont want to be shown on a thread that advocates planting insane ammounts of cannabis on other peoples farms. Not all farmers are agri bussiness giants, a lot of them are good humble hard working people. . Imagine the scenario, a large ammount of cannabis is discovered in a crop, their home & property could be searched, their computer taken away for analysis, they could even be charged, & as possession is 9/10's of the law, they are technically guilty. On top of which they could lose their precious subsidies, it could endanger their business & livelihood. The situation is the same in the states where Cartels have been discovered growing large ammounts, the resulting flyovers that follow just fuck it up for everyone else. There may be people growing small scale in the areas, they too will come under scrutiny. I got NO problems with growing cannabis, large or small scale, its why we are all here, but I wouldnt want to fuck people over in the process But hey you dont give a shit do you.

i wasnt the one claming first to want less attention, discretion and talking about security at the same time when acting like an elephant in a chinese porcelain shop ( old danish saying for very clumsy ppl) and also bursting in the thread making wild accusations and claims that didnt seem related the the grower making them in any way
and no, egos shouldn't been an obstacle but it seems like the exact point here
it seems like egos demanding random claims should just be obeyed with out any questions or explanation ( even if it meant deleting work that might not have had any relation to you), just like it it apeared at first; wild claims from random ppl with no apparent connection to the claims
i have a really hard time believing that egos, discretion and less attention should have been the reasons behind this the way it has been handled by you and f****z2 or whatever

nice to finally see some positive karma again here cause the haters where getting pretty annoying in the end

the pictures of cannabis grown in corn was a big inspiration to me
also brown dirt warriors guerrilal growing films although they where grown in forests was also a big inspiration for me

i did soem test growing in corn last year to find out if the things written in the thread about corn fields was correct and applied to my region also
and although i got out late last year and with limited numbers it proved to me that corn fields are the way to go in the future for me

good soil, loose and partly fertilized
perfect hidden, a lot more stealth and less risky than forest or other guerrilla spots as cops dont do flyovers here
and perfect sun exposure as they get sun from all sides the whole day
also the land over the fields are perfect
they are sheltered against powerful winds and storms but in the same time they get good ventilation and mold is less an issue

my plan is also to take some video shots in there from time to time
but im far from good at editing so it wont compare to the BDW videos in any way
also most of the work early in the season is done at night but i hope when the season is done ill end up with some video shots that can give the viewers a little glimpse about the conditions of growing in corn anyway

there will also be pixtures and video shots from buds just before harvest with the many plants in the corn ready to be chopped as i regret a lot that i didnt take many harvest shots last year due to being stressed out a lot and many times when i was out harvesting it happened not planned on the way back from home when i was in company car and passed a corn field and no others where around so i just hit the brakes and ran in there with a knife and chopped then went back top the van with the harvest and loaded it into the van when no other cars where passing
its pretty sad that many of the pictures from different growers doing cannabis in corn is now gone as they where beautiful pictures but ill ad some new ones after this season and i hope it will inspire others to grow in corn as well
cannabis in corn is a beautiful combo
it captures a little of the feeling you have when standing inside a field at day time and just enjoying all that corn and canna before your eyes
its an indescribable feeling

yes i harvested some times at day light using a company car cause it actually was less a security risk as oppose to driving around in my own car at night where theres glass openings in all the car making the weed visible right at the spot for any cop that might pull me over cause normally the roads are pretty empty at nights here

and i expect to harvest at least 20 x the amount this year using my own car at nights as this is my only option as i dont have a job due to recession

i just struck a good deal regarding some seeds and i have a load of new gear coming, including 500 2 l square pots and some MH and CFL lamps fro pre growing and some other stuff
ill post some pix of the gear im going to use when it arrives

i have gotten more interesting beans and its hard to keep the numbers of fields down but for a succesfull harvest i have to keep the workload at an acceptabel level
ive decided that 8 fields are maximum
and i still have thoughts on which strains and crosses to run there

Early Dane ( my own line derived from genetics from a fellow danish breeder)
and Freja ( testing for sagaseeds )
will be 2 sure ones as i should be able to harvest the first from mid August and forwards
nice to have some variation in harvest dates as else the work load is heavy if all where to be harvested at once at end September
also danish landraces as Danish Passion, Royal Dane and other classics
might also do leb27 even though its a little late for maturing seeds in the corn, but as there seems to be a high demand for those also i might do a field of those although its much work as i have to bring back the plants alive to let them mature here for a week or 2 for more mature seeds

i did hazed erdpurt outside in 07
can remember the exact harvest date but i believe it to be too late for corn though, at least here in Denmark
they harvest the corn here for start october so the plants should be ready at end september
last year i did
Early Dane, erocket x danish passion, danish passion, leb27, royal dane, thyphoon in the corn
they all finished but the leb27 was a little on the edge as many seeds werent matures so i pulled them with roots and kept them in buckets of water at home for a week or two
that matures some more seeds in them
