No not really but I've had good results with Aridbud's Pokey Doke so Ill probably stick to Afterthought's offerings. We will see what comes out over the winter, though.
I'm just thinking that although it is nice to grow huge plants outdoors, the weather at the end of the season is always a gamble.
Autos will help avoid that end of the season "Heartbreak of Botrytis" .

Just finished cutting the white widow had some mold so I cut what I could. Cut a random indica also because it was getting some mold. Trichs are mostly cloudy at least and I would rather get something than nothing. Gonna cut the other random indica tomorrow there doesn't look to be any mold but it is really frosty and I don't want to lose it. The buds are a little leafy but again the trichs are mostly cloudy. I am leaving the two tallest MLI because they definitely need to go longer and they look mostly great especially the top 6 foot. Should be some weight in the MLI as long as I don't get any mold on those. Air circulation is a lot better now with out the other three plants in there. Learning a lot and really looking forward to the indoor season. Good luck out there :tiphat:

Next year Im using cheesecloth to keep the caterpillars off my shit!
Were gonna have the PERFECT 10 days to finish things off here in Mass.
Ive never seen a more perfect season in all my life. If it wasnt for the cats' at this one spot, we would have a bumper harvest.

The other spot with 5x Glues hasnt had 1 caterpillar. Not a spot of rot anywhere.
Gotta love that!

These cats' are making me sick.....theres just so many of them. Everywhere in every plant at the big garden. Im glad I did a S.O.G with GG#4 in 2gln pots to make up for some of the losses. Were cutting big tops off everyday due to these bastards.
Started flushing everything yesterday. Just ran the hose water through them, un-PH'd balanced to lock out the nutrients and let them take it from the leaves to yellow them out real good. Im cutting in 7 days. Oct 3rd. Everything is dense and heavy, and I dont want to loose too much more at this spot. Were at week 8 ... Day 57. We harvest in 6 days. Week 9 for the Glues.
Were gonna let the other garden with no cats' go as long as we can. Probably the whole 10 weeks...... Oct 10th.

Cabbage loopers can generally be kept out with 1/4 inch bird nets like they use for grapes, I know this from a guy who put them on his greenhouse vents to keep birds out and it also kept out cabbage loopers for him.

EDIT :
The other garden is now just seeing signs of cats' and getting spots of rot.
Not anywhere near whats happening at the big garden. Theres a huge pine tree with giant pinecones that is attracting every gypsy moth in the state. The MJ plants being at the base of it is like the perfect nursery for these bastards. LOL!

We harvest them in 5 days and I cant wait to get this season behind me. Seeing all my hard work dwindle down as the cats' viraciously destroy the nicest buds is killing me. While were having perfect weather to finish them properly, and having the most perfect season as long as I can remember, these cats' are making me sick. We would have crushed it if it wasnt for these things. The only real prob we have. Sux! But we should harvest atleast 70 - 80 percent. Atleast I learned for next year at this spot. Cheesecloth.

No caterpillar problems here but the mold doesnt need any help anyhow. We've had two weeks of crap weather. The fog, every day, is thick enough to cut and make an igloo. It rains almost every night and when it isnt raining or foggy it is cloudy with limited sun.
The Jamaican plant is holding on, as well as two of the Pokey Dokes but every day I pick a bud or two off that show mold. Luckily none of the plants are infected entirely.
I am happy that the seeds I've been making on these plants are mostly finished.

winds have turned Northwest, it's finally over! Even the patches of clover-weed in my yard have PM, better luck next year.

Supposedly the gypsy moth's will get their ass kicked by the wet summer and be vastly reduced next year, that's what I read in the newspaper from some extension service biologists

Harvested the big, tall Outdoor Grapefruit this a.m before the cats just utterly destroyed it. Week 9 flower.
It was pretty much ready. Ya it could have used 1 more week to harden off fully but it was as ready as an outdoor plant with cats' can be. Smells fantastic! Big hand grenade size buds too.

The plants weve harvested and have hanging, have tiny cats' hatching and trying to escape down to the floor on their little string they make. Had like 10 hangers this morning and some that were on the coat hanger just hanging out. Bastards are just sooooo bad this year! Never seen it so bad! Hopefully thats true about next year gypsy moth population. Still using cheesecloth next year.

Just this guy, ya know?
It took me to the little string line to realize you meant caterpillars and not actual cats. I had an image of kittens attacking marijuana plants.
