Looking em over today, No pistols turning brown yet on the buds. On Northern Lights, I'm thinking 3-4 weeks to go when they start changing.

Funny you said that about the NL, I am in California and my NL are 3-4 weeks from finish here also.
Fingers crossed.

My partners dog got caught up in the trellis at the bottom and broke a big thick branch. It was touching the ground. I get a call 10 minutes before its pitch dark. She goes out there thinking it was because the trellis was loose, and the branch was to heavy, and not knowing it was the stupid fkn dog, tightens the trellis in pitch blackness and ends up breaking 4 more small branches with like a 1/4 zip worth on each branch. The trellis was fine. It was the dog pulling on it with all he had.

I went and fixed it this morning. I took the underhanging trellis and pulled it up so they wont run into it anymore, these stupid, hyper little dogs. And I had to cut about a 1/2 zip worth of rot from these fkn stupid caterpillers. They are half the size of a grain of rice when they first hatch. Death to all caterpillers!!

Yeah that is something I have noticed the last few days. With all this humidity the buds are getting super frosty. Keeping my fingers crossed and preying for no mold. Plus side is its gonna be windy next couple of days so that should dry things out a bit. If I can get two more weeks of sun I could chop and be happy.

Yes she is. Only and last time a grow with her. I keep having to remind myself shes brand new and knows nothing, but second guesses everything I say, or tell her to do.
Ill tell her whats up, and she calls 3 or 4 other people who are noobs too, and gets conflicting advice from them and tells me that Im wrong.

Got a text saying that she was gonna spray peppermint oil and neem on the flowers at week 6 1/2. That that will kill and stop the caterpillars. LOL! I texted her back too please not do that. That that was for mites and thrips and pests like that. She listened only cuz she texted that person back and they didnt text her back with an answer.
Like I have NO CLUE what Im doing or talking about. Unbelievable.
She makes me shake when she does this shit. My entire future is in her yard, in her hands, and she wouldnt even trust me with the smallest, crappiest plant that was infested with caterpillars. Really??!!??
Just cant wait till I HOPEFULLY harvest a nice crop and get this year over with!
My other partner is awesome. We have 5 big Glues over there.

Mothballs help keep critters away. Just dont put them within the drip-zone of your plants.

Gonna have ALOT of seed for next years outdoor crop.
Im thinking around 200 DieselFire x AOG and 400 (LVRK x BLR) x AOG.
For my part, Ide like to have 10 bigs of each in 100gln growbags, and 10 of each clone only strains of GG4 and Blue Dream in 45 gln growbags. Atleast thats the plan in my head.

Also would like to cover them in cheesecloth so the caterpillars dont get to them.

Water question

Water question

Don't really know where to post this question but I am in process of remodeling my basement and will be installing RO for water in the grow room. I know a lot of you also grow indoor so what are you guys using for RO systems. There are a lot out there and would prefer personal recommendations. Thanks all :tiphat:

I just had to cut 2 more tops because of bud mold of some kind. The bud was all furry and grey. Hope this weather changes soon. Good luck out there.

mold time at my chem/organic spot, the most mature plant did develop several m&m sized spots all over the plant. not much loss and the bad weather is over for at least one week now. will apply bicarbonate tomorrow, i think it is such a spot on thing what you are looking for.
still have to see how the organic spot looks like and i hope its much better.
