WOW

WOW

Damn, never thought I could get here now I am praying for a strong finish. All plants are flowering and are 8-9 week strains. Some bug activity but nothing seems to be eating anything. Mostly bees, little flys, spiders, and some weird looking bugs occasionally.

Im going today to hack off the inners and underskirt of the 2nd big GG#4.
Gotta ton of suckers that need to be cut off. Also gotta move these 2 big Glues and t\p 4 more from 5gln buckets to 15's. Then get trellis and wrap these girls up for the rest of flower.

I think if you put everything in the ground you will at least get 6 pounds. Hell I think you can get at least 3.5 off those two big ones. (wait for the buds to really swell, remember they won't change much appearance wise once they are cut, but they might shrink a little...or a lot. ),: lol

Funny you say that because that is/was my goal 1 elbow per plant. The weather is finally getting better here in the center of the state. High humidity is gone and night time temps are starting to lower. Can't wait to see what kind of colors come out in the bud outside vs indoor. Indoor I couldn't/didn't raise and lower temps they stayed at pretty much 72 during lights on and 65 night. Everything I have read says that lower temps at end of flowering really bring out the color so I can't wait.

Thanks everyone for the compliments as I could never have gotten here without this site and awesome users full of experience. In life I was a very skilled general contractor learning from some excellent master carpenters and very good sub contractors. This venture however is much different as I have to do all of my learning on line and try to translate it to practice. This can be hard sometimes because of all the conflicting info so again I thank this site for the consistently good info :thank you:

Just this guy, ya know?
Hey OG_NoMan, temperatures in the western part of the state are supposed to go as low as 46 tonight. I was wondering how that effects an outdoor grow like yours? Is there anything you can do to protect them from such early cold weather?

Honestly I am not to worried as they are very big and have been thrashed pretty good by the weather so far and they always seem to get stronger. I have also read that as long as temps don't stay in the upper 30's for long periods they should be fine. My plants get sun almost immediately when the sun comes up so that should warm them up pretty quick. I guess if I had to I could cover it with plastic but then I would be a lot more worried about mold and fungus than I am already:biggrin: I really appreciate the feedback and if anyone else has any tips to get me through all is welcome as this is my first outdoor.

Use something like old sheets instead of plastic if you are trying to protect them from cooler weather at night. If you really need to use plastic place a sheet first with the plastic on top. Remove the sheets first thing in the morning.
You can spray paint some gallon jugs black, fill them with water and let them heat up in the sun during the day. Put them at the base of your plants at night under the sheets. They will throw some heat to help keep things a bit warmer at night.
