You mean not everything in that greenhouse is a female?

About a third are clones and fems. The rest are reg seed - no STS - my crosses and a few Wedding Cake x 4DDs.

The plan is to keep the twelve best with a couple spares. The males get culled and the extra females will be gifted.

Hi everyone, l hope you’re all well.
That Satori does look nice dufous, it’s a strain I’ve lamented over for a lot of years; since it came out in “The Big Book of Buds”. I’ve always thought l wouldn’t be able to finish it at my latitude, due to the description but l know from my research it’s a plant that has the ability to alter consciousness and can also be very psychedelic.
It’s a plant that pops up very rarely, so I’m interested to follow along and ask a question or two, if l may.
I know Mandala have worked the plant since release and it looks like they’ve moved away from the columnar approach, with minimal side branching, to more of a Christmas tree shape.???
Would you mind if l ask what latitude you’re at and how you’re finding vigour and plant development.
Anyone else grown Satori???
Good luck for the next few months dufous, I’m truly on the edge of my seat watching this one.
Cheers,
40.

Seems like flower has started as things are stretching a bit ?. Garden is averaging @ 6' tall everything is looking good, have lost a couple bottom branches due to heavy limb and no support. Starting to get a trellis system going, the garden is full but it seems like I will be able to flower everything. Will be taking clones this weekend. Good luck everyone.

One of my Erdpurt phenos had some really bizarre branching. Instead of growing outward like the 2nd photo, they were growing almost straight up which was causing crowding, a situation just asking for mold growth. Instead of pruning, I tied them down using my never ending box of twine my uncle stole from work lol.

Concerning caterpillars, what kind are you guys dealing with? The ones I've noticed were almost microscopic and nearly impossible to see. I gave the plants a quick spray, picked a few off and haven't noticed any signs of them since.

I haven't seen too much caterpillar damage yet. I did kill a small, white moth today. It was smaller than a cabbage moth, paler than a tobacco moth. I've started spraying bt kurstaki every 5 days or so. Its pretty windy here, so I don't worry too much about wetting the leaves at this point.

I've had some grasshoppers munching on my c99 leaves, nothing too bad. I sprayed some red pepper spray to discourage them.

I need to start a BT foliar regimen. The past couple years I've only used it during flowering and it's about that time.

I've started to spot some strange leaf damage the past few days. Where the leaves are kinda crinkled and folded up into each other with tiny holes poked/munched through the leaves along with some sort of white "webbing". I pulled apart/unfolded the leaves and a tiny little caterpillar/worm fell out.

I've never seen this before from caterpillars. The only time I've spotted cats is during flowering when they've already found their way into the bud.

No serious damage so far...just a few fingers on two fan leaves on a large plant that...but I def gotta get on using some BT.

I have a little bit that I bought two years ago but I assume the bacteria is likely no longer alive/active at this point?...either way I was planning on buying a new bottle.

How often do ya'll apply BT? Last year I did so once every 10-ish days if I recall correctly, starting in late July. Towards the middle/end of sept I think I stopped applying it.

Gonna have to get on the spray train also. Dealing with bits of PM and starting to notice the moths out and about in the plants. Saw a few birds in there also so gonna hold off on bt for now. I just sprayed serenade at 2ounces per gal today and will follow it up in a few days with Some greencure if necessary and back to serenade till I either beat it or cull the plants dealing with it. The humidity has been through the roof this summer here in central ma. with hardly any rain. Got heavy winds coming this week so really gotta get some trellis up. Good luck

Has anyone in Massachusetts dealt with purple top phytoplasma disease yet? It's spreading rapidly in the midwest due to leafhoppers.
