You guys think I can fit this into a vacuum seal bag? Serious, would it last in a vacuum for a year??

CHACO,

Incredible, Hazy for sure. You could almost make holiday wreaths out of those =]

If you pressure seal it - you may want to freeze store it, to help prevent any mold or deterioration. I haven't had to do it in a while, but you should check online to see the differences between low temps that preserve the smell, and the baseline where freezing too cold will start to mask/remove some of the smell.

I know many people who have kept a happy medium of freeze preservation without loosing any taste of smell. Some of the best straight Jack Herer I had was preserved for half a year like this - and was better than before it went in =]

Yeah, I have a great refrigerator just for seeds and coca-cola.I may not even smoke this stuff but it seems a waste to compost it.I figured if I stored it right I could sit around and dry sift it one day this winter or next winter.I've run out of space and I need my drying room as a veg room pronto so I'm pulling this dry shit down asap and throwing it all into big ziplocks for now, I don't have the vac seal yet, I got to the store too early now I have to go back to town.My cuts need that room now, my Nevs, Apollo,etc...Today is flower day for 2 massive giants, 1 Casey Jones and 1 Chem D both huge. Its stupid, I just want to see what happens, I ran out of lights too!:)

NEED HELP

alright fellas, need some advice! Today the garden tech found pigment splotches on just about everything. Looks like someone took an eraser & erased the chlorophyll from the foliage in little spots. New growth is losing pigment in the center of leafs, around veins. I had him check the run-off pH & we found its hovering around 5.6 - so what I'm thinking is that we are getting some kind of a lock out / deficiency because the soil pH is too low.

I had him flush 13 of the 15, I was worried the last feeding was causing this. 1 of them is getting a flush & shot of Cal/Mag, 1 is getting no flush & shot of Cal/Mag, and 1 is getting no flush but watering @ pH 7.2 to see what the soil buffers out at.

He was adjusting the feed water to 6.5, so I'm sure that is the problem.. The soil mix pH is too low & 6.5 water is bringing it down to 5.6 - so if we water with 7.2 pH hopefully we will slide right back into that 6.2-6.8 range - if my assumptions are wrong PLEASE let me know.

I'll post pics in a few mins when I can, but if this deficiency sounds familiar please jump rig in.

after the flush run off is at 6.2, flushed with a couple gallons each @ pH 6.9 tap water (they are in 1.5g pots)

Tb, it doesn't look to be anything too serious probably just a ph issue, feed with the proper ph and the new growth will look great don't stress, another thing too I like to bubble my water with an air pump to add oxygen and bring it up to room temp, it's not necessary to do but you will notice a difference, best of luck...

Hi Ottoman, question if you don't mind... What temp is optimal in Promix. I had assumed 65's as this was ideal for DWC type systems.

TIA,

TB that's definitely pH. Can't help you otherwise, I run from the guessing game that is organic mixes!

TB, what's in your dirt and what are you feeding it? Organic mixes make pH problems a thing of the past, not counting the initial water source. That's all that really needs measuring, after that it's smooth sailing.

Where's the compost, TB? Gotta have that in the mix and in good amounts. 20% is the sweet spot, IMO. It's crucial to any organic mix. Your blend is heavy on the food but missing the microbes to break it all down. Feed the soil, not the plant.

Btw, they don't need any feedings from the roots organic bottles. Even at 1/2 strength. There is a ton of food in that soil mix, especially for plants that size/age. That mix can be used with only-water from now until chop, it's that strong. Top dress with some EWC and just water them for a few weeks. They'll tell ya when they need more.

Just set up this room to flower, 2 plants each with at least 500W overhead apiece and the 600 vert in the middle. The space is about 4x8 and 7.5ft tall.I think I'll be about ceiling hieght when finished.I busted my ass to flip this thing today. It's my first Casey Jones grow too, she's the plant against the back against a fresh coat of flat white....

Looks great Chaco, 600w verts are the best lower heat and you can get them closer. Good luck with those keep us updated!
