Scrappy I'm gonna guess, $325/oz right up to the lb.I saw a pound of perfect Chem D go for $4600 but in a month it'll be $5200 again.I know people who've bought good quality imports for $5800, depends on the time of year, now is a bad time.I have trouble giving weed away at this time of year and I hear what people pay.Outside of Boston good weed goes for $1300/QP period, more likely $1600.I hope I never run out, the older guys I know have to buy from younger kids for way more.It seems expensive to smoke but it's still not so profitable for the grower, a decent job would make more $ easy.The price of electricity in Mass is ridiculous.Edit: I read many posts that brag about how it costs $50 to grow a pound and they wouldn't pay more than 100/oz, well after electricity and gear and work, yes, work, it doesn't add up to much at all.Maybe in a field near Sacramento but not here in the NE, no way!

Hey all, got a question for anyone familiar with prices in the Boston area...

What is the average price for a z, a quap, and an L of A+ in that area?

How about for B+?

Looking for fair wholesale prices for someone who's gonna retail it out.

a zip if you dont know the person or got a hook up for 375-400 depending on strain. Have seen a zip of Candy Kush go for 450. A QP goes for 1,600-2gs. a p of A+ can go anywere from 4000-4500 depending on strain. I dont do B+ only A and A+.

But the more you buy the lower the prices. at one point in time back in the day i was pickin up zips of headband for 300 even but thats when i was on the hustle. Just remember good cuttys will bring that $$$.

MA electricity is really expensive, bigger ops with 4-6k can run $700-850 a month in electricity with A/C's and everything. The real gem to growing your own, is getting to choose which genetics you will have around to smoke - and trying out new phenos from beans that others don't have =] Which is definitely worth it.

Although, investments into photovoltaic (Solar Panels) could provide a lifetime, free energy setup once it's paid off ($10,000 - $20,000). Great for keeping it free, which is key later on in life during retirement - and it removes your signature of energy use off the grid. Definitely the cheapest and safest way to go long term. You can put them on your roof or arrange them on wooden seating's in rows on your backyard/property if there are places that get better sun.

Always keep your Solar Panel regulators and indoor equipment in a closed location away from the op.

Where I am from, home growns depending on quality go anywhere from $4-6K an lb. Mid's your can grab a lb for about $300-400, than the imports come into play, NYC haze is a major player in my area, I don't mean to sound racist but all the blacks and hispanics won't touch weed unless it's haze, I swear they'll turn down a bag of high quality diesels for an ok bag of Haze, i guess it just their culture, because of this commerical grade haze goes for 350-450 a zip no questions asked and lbs won't go for less than $5500...... Than the cali's come into play depending on your connection lb's go from $3200-4000 for stuff with names and that outdoor cali buds go for about $2000-2800, their is a shit ton of competition where I am at but the great thing is this, older/people with less money always grab the mids and if they got some extra $$ the cali outdoors, the ethnic areas only deal with haze from lbs to nickel bags, than the college kids/young adults are all into the cali names, than a small percentage of the people young to adults want nothing but the exotics if they can't get them then they don't smoke......

don't you guys love people who say they wish the grew pot because its so easy and cheap and that if they didn't have their current job they would do nothing but smoke and grow, hahahaha, I always say since people don't know I grow, yeah man I bet growing weed is so easy and cheap you can become a millionaire in a couple months, most go "I know, its way too easy....." Little do they know what ups and downs come in this trade, it can be just as stressful as any high position suit and tie job, except we make less money.....

Damn! I couldn't give away haze in my town and the one black guy doesn't smoke...great replies I like to hear whats going on people only want diesel or chem in my area, white boy stuff I guess...no shit though if I grow haze, I'm keeping it unless its mid winter and somebodys desperate.The current economic trend has turned this place into a ghost town, the locals don't buy weed anymore or they buy cheap mids or mexi and that stuff is $200-$250, yuck!

The haze where I am at is probably quite different than your haze's chaco, much more indica influence in them with that same exact taste and smell every batch, incense and basement, extremely commercial.... The g13xhaze's I grew out last winter, I basically gave away for free because people straight up thought it was garbage, most smokers want that knock out weed, lovers of weed can appreciate the up lifting high but in today's market those consumerist are few and far between...

I hate the direction that piff has gone with the indica influence. I want that stuff that was around 5 years ago that had nugs that you peel, not break up! Definite sativa around in huge volume... some of the best weed ever... These same types who only want to smoke nyc haze don't ime even consider all these euro hazes to be "haze". A particular cut of mango haze is the exception, damn it's piffy!

It's like someone in cali smoking on bubba for years and years and calling it kush and then someone comes along with a dutch kush that's totally different. That euro kush is indeed "kush", but it's just not considered the same thing to a lot of people.

I wish there were haze in my area.... I have never come across any.... except that which I grew....

Mids are good for a headache, because a lot of the offshore locations dump pesticides all over them during production.

Not the mention they generally have terrible genetics, that feel like a kick to the nuts in your brain. Cloudy headed, dis-euphoria in many of them. I think most people who claim they don't like cannabis, just smoked horrible mids or regs and never enjoyed the experience. Some circles have never seen anything outside of sub-par cannabis given the price range they are willing to spend, and I've even seen some claim that "headies" strain names - don't exist??? It's so laughable, but shows their reality of limited exposure over many years to cannabis - if only the masses could puff on some of the best OG or ECSD.

Mhm kids in the city pay silly prices. I mean, I guess I understand - options are limited. It's either 100$ delivery service effers, or the beast. My sis flips in Brooklyn, all those hipster kids pay top dollar for zips - top shelf meds will go for 500 a z all day.

Many areas of CT are similar - closer you get to NyC the more money kids drop. Top shelf meds consistently go for 4-440 a z in those areas, and that's all their interested in.. Rich towns want rich buds

I have like 10 different c99 phenos(havent grown out moscas yet) and so far this is the best one overall (smell,taste,yield,overall growth in garden). Not sure who the vendor on these is (fairlight?) if anyone knows about these 5th generation seeds feel free to chime in .
