I figured since i didn't have a calender handy I would start flowering on thanksgiving not even a stoner like me could forget that date, i think, hope you all had a wonderful holiday...

nl5hazexlvpk (left) nl5hazexecsd right,

the ecsd cross is heavy on the diesel smell and all i can pray for is a ecsd that can hold her own branches up we'll see...

Dr Poisons Strawberry Diesel Durbans are huge.I'm gonna have to switch to all vert lamps to accomodate them.I flowered all the cuts yesterday too.Everything is 12/12 now except for a few cuts under a 4ft flouro.I forsee a nightmare come Feb.The veg plants all grew so big, the haze grows confuse your schedules and without accurate planning( not me:)) the veg plants takeoff.Still after 60 days of 12/12, you know theres no auto flower blood around....

Chaco,

Apollo 11 = C99 x Genius

Some of the most thought provoking, deep thinking weed ever with no jittery effects. Tastes like candy Lemon too. Definitely a keeper.

You are going to love her, It is truly one of the Brothers Grimm Holy Grails. It is 55 days, but I usually go to 60 for that extra kick, either time would be fine though.

Here is some pics of what this plant can do trained:

I think i may have vegged this nl5xhaze #1 a little too big shes gotta be 3ft wide and 3ft long at least, she was put into flowering yesterday with the others, Im just gonna have to keep bending and bending until about week 3-4 cause this bitch loves to grow with vigor and has some stretch to her, it'll def be one of the last times I can take her out the room as well I had enough trouble as it was without breaking branches, it's nice to be flowering something again, finally.......

Nice! I almost forgot about that slew of NL5/haze crosses u made, can't wait to see em flower out! Out of everything I have popped & running right now the Pre98 Bubba x NL5/haze is the most vigorous & has the highest germ & seedling rates! Thanks VADO :tiphat:

Got a mess of little babies getting strong under floros & an LED rack, I have to say that the bunk bed veg cabinet works swimmingly! Almost everything is on it's 3rd or 4th leaf set, planning on moving them under a 400 this weekend. Pics when I got enough going on to show u something interesting!

TB, glad to hear your having success so far with the bubba cross, and to be honest you mentioned one of the two qualities why I used that pollen, Vigor and also yield, the goal was to cross with plants that either needed help holding up their branches in flowering or plants that were excellent smoke but needed better yields, best of luck with all the beans Im sure you'll find a few keepers in all your crosses...

Lots of variation in those beans. Flowered out 4 females, 1 leaned to the NL, 2 to the haze, one to the kush. Everything was frosty and tasty. The grape pheno came out of left field and totally surprised me, but I guess that comes from the NL5... Have fun man and happy pheno hunting

Otto glad you flipped that bitch I wanna smoke more #1... It's some fiya!! :hotbounce:hotbounce

Years ago I used my Sensi NL5/Haze cut as a mom and Rez SDIBL as a dad and there were some great plants. They all smelled like grapes, I couldn't figure out where it came from.I guess the NL5, it's been a mystery to me for awhile.

Older Stock NL5/Haze is incredible - I think it's possibly what the Uptown Haze in NY was from. That crossed to Sour Diesel would be out of this world.

I'm still searching for the Uptown Purple Haze I got back in 2003ish. I haven't seen a strain that has a stronger smell/wreak - and a soaring haze high with one of the best indica bodyhighs crossed into it. I'm Still on a search for it - I hope the flowering times are manageable =]

BiO, the new Mr.Nice version of the nl5xhaze was used on the crosses, and to be honest I found not one plant that was anywhere near similar to the ny haze, more fruity hazes, maybe it's a special pheno of it I still got 9 more to pop, otherwise IMO i think the ny haze is def a NL X haze just not sure exactly which one....

Chaco, by process of elimination and never smoking actual NL5 I have just assumed the grape smell come from the nl5 genetics, if anyone has any input on this please let us know, I'd be interested in hearing people that got to actually smoke on straight NL#5. Also chaco, where you able to get dominate deisels that could hold themselves up with your crosses? That is what I am hoping to find eventually when I look for a mom...

Vado, Killer work on those crosses and thanks the samples! I think it was #3 that was my favorite had that lemon haze taste with a touch of kush in it, I could've just smoked all day on that stuff simply for the taste...

Had to come on to tell this story of being too high for my own good, So i've been hearing what I thought was a neighbor running a generator for the last 6 or so hours, I am going to myself what the hell are they still using it for everyone's got electricity on the street. I go outside to check out and see whats up to find out that I left my car running for the past six hours in the driveway, I somehow got out of my car shut the door and went inside without even blinking an eye, these are the times when I consider smoking less pot in my life.....

highsteppa,

Nice, I've popped Joey's A11 F2's as well as his C99 x A11's. Also Spice Brothers A11's genetics years back.

The cut I finally have in my possession is the Apollo 11 Genius cut that was passed around Overgrow.com moderators back in the day. Directly from Brother Grimm's F1 stock of Apollo 11. It is the best Genius expression I've ever seen or smoked, and tastes like lemon candy.

It's truly one of the most stoned to the bone/while clear headed - thought provoking weeds without any paranoia or jitters. Definitely a keeper for life.

Well, sounds like I've found myself a project for the winter. The cut put on a bunch of leaves yesterday, she's on the floor just in the range of a 45 degree 600 with a few other wounded, rejuevenating specimens.I have to build a veg cab for these pronto.I'm gonna build a coffin shaped growbox 5ft long and 2ft wide, 2.5ft tall with 3, 4ft flouro racks. It's the only way I can keep the place in total darkness.Headed to the lumber shop today for sure.:)

A lumberyard for me is like a very foriegn country.I couldn't be more out of place.Always buy the wrong shit.I chickened out today, too many tourists down for the holiday.I'm hiding with my jar of Nevilles....Otto those seeds had big strong plants with branches like steel rods, that must come from the hazes because my Nevilles had the strongest branches I'd ever seen, all but the one keeper which flopped to the floor and would have grown upside down if I didn't pull her up...I sent most of those seeds to Tasmania where my old nieghbor from New Mex moved with his family. They filled up about 1/4 acre with the seeds and made a fortune. The spot was right on a river near Hobart and it gets cold there too, the plants finished in late April with huge yields. The guy was so happy, it saved his life and he opened a bee farm and now makes a fortune selling bees to US beekeepers.I thought he was crazy, now he's crazy rich for a bumpkin!!....I grew a whole garage full a couple times then ran out of seed.I called it "Black Diesel", I don't know why...
