HL, didn't mean to be secretive guess I'll spill the beans (no pun intended). Couple years back there was a popular cut being passed around called Giesel, I grew her for a few harvest she was great smoke but was just a fussy plant for me so I decided to cut my strain #'s down and she was on the list. My last harvest with her I grew out 8, come harvest time I start my first cut with the scissors and out falls 5 fat juicy healthy looking seeds. I kept trimming and no other beans were found I bugged out because I though the buds were all seedy.
I let them dry for 10+ days and gave most of it to a friend because he happened to like that particular strain and it was my last harvest of it. told him that if he found a bunch of seeds to tell me and I'd give him other bud to replace it, he called me a week later and said he found not 1 seed. I think I tiny light leak that I notice early into flower might have triggered the beans. I than popped those 5 giesel seeds along with a bunch other at the time and got 3 females and 2 males. 1 of the giesel's was the alpha male in a room of 10 males (3 different strains), he stunk up the house and had such vigorous growth, i killed all the other males and only kept his pollen. I then painted that pollen on to the best one of the 3 giesel females and the mass super skunk (havent popped any of those yet).
