My favorite Black Flag show was '84 Bennington, VT armory. About 100 people showed up. Hung with Henry Rollins before the show - great guy.

Im not much of a punk rock guy but I did enjoy a few bands, My favorite punk cd is Misfits American Pyscho. My college roomate and I use to listen and drink to that cd before we went out. Use to get us pumped up and in the party mood. They sucked once Danzig left tho.

I think it was Jan '81, I flew from Hi. to LA to spend time w/ this girl.
Had spent 2 mo. in Hi, I was all tanned and my long blond hair was really bleached out from salt & sun.
We were in a LAX bar getting reacquainted, when this news story came on, w/ footage of some Black Flag fans running across sunset strip and beating the shit out of some longhaired guy!
We were going to go see X in a couple of days, and we both thought it a good idea to chop my locks. That was my first introduction to Black Flag!

ZenArcade, 1st dance w/ the Golden Tiger, but she looks real good! I love exotic! Have every reason to believe they'll live up to the billing.
My wife has gone full-bore into the Facebook thing, and I guess there's a big Rat thread, cryin' about Mitch or Mr. Butch, whatever. Not a big fan of FB. She's actually going w/ girlfriends to some kinda Spit reunion. Saw a few good shows there, but always got out before the DJ tried to get everyone dancing to punk & new wave. Can't believe she want's to relive that!

Otto, I think that was @ the hgt of generic labeling, I remember beer like that, I think it was a great send-off to it.
The line that always stuck me, was his skinhead buddy saying "let's do some crimes"! I still say that to the wife now & then when in a deviant mood.

Oh God, how many times have we all walked by Mr. Butch past out in the ally with his pants unzipped and fully exposed because he passed out while urinating. I smoked weed, and drank maddog 20/20 with that guy most days of the summer before 8th grade. Sad that he passed though. The Rat closing and his passing years later were kind of catalysts of the death of underground culture in that city. I have a "Live at the Rat" double Lp from the late 70's Real Kids, DMZ all that cool kinda pre-punk rocknroll. Great stuff.

I think i'll give that Golden Tiger a try when its relisted, yours looks truly killer!!! I also have Amnesia Haze gifted from a friend, another pack of MNS SSH, and three packs of Tom Hills Haze.....busy,busy,busy!

I got some of the newly listed f13 too, I see that you've run her, whats the verdict?

What's up folks

Took some pics last night

These are all clones of Sensi Seeds Hash Plant....the plant on the left is about 2 weeks from harvest and was grown in a 1gal bag filled with just Pro Mix (w/ extra perlite) and watered for the first 3 or 4 weeks with GH Flora Micro and Bloom (modified lucas) plus liquid Koolbloom and Gen Organics Cal Mag +. From the 4th week on I switched over to Pure Blend Pro and worked castings and Fox Farm Piece of Mind Fruit and Flower into the top 2 inches of soil.

The plant in the middle has been flowering for 3 or 4 weeks and is also in a 1gal bag....but this one is 3 parts Pro Mix, 1 part coco (GH brick), 1 part castings and 1 part perlite. I added 2 Tbsp of FF PoM Fruit and Flower, 1 Tbsp of Starter, 1 Tbsp of Acid Loving and 1 Tbsp of Dolomite Lime. So far this one has only been fed plain water with the ph @ 6.6 to 7.

And the one on the right is the first plant I've ever grown in coco. I'm feeding her with GH Flora Micro and Bloom (Grateful Head/Rez style), it's been flowering for 4 or 5 weeks.

Cold temps really darkened the color of this ecsd. Here is a small pile ready to hang, the stench is unreal. This is my second run with her. Took her at 80 days today. I feel truly lucky to have gotten this clone.

After this I'm gonna try my hand at the Chem D, i have two that are shaping up rather nicely in veg now. I've run the Rez Chem BX but never the real clone. Can't wait to give her a shot!

Fine time for a comeback I think.It's been a while since I posted here but Ive kept my eyes on it and you all make me proud to live in the mass/r.i./ct area.I promise Ill play nice if y'all do.That was some funny stuff about the 80's punk bands.I remember being 17 and playing in a metal band, had the long blond hair and the biker jacket had the old man busting my balls saying I looked like a girl and why couldnt I be more like our neighbors kid who had short hair and liked martial arts.I remember taking a drive with him one day to pick up a dimebag of ses and he was playing zen arcade on cassett I was like this shit is pretty cool and trippy sounded even better after the ses.then by 87 i turned 19 and graduated and was hanging out with buddys from Hs who were in a punk band and liked husker du and misfits and black flag and gbh,soul asylum. And I really liked bob moulds guitar playing alot and took intrest in the whole scene they were acid droping pot smoking beer swilling good times,still are minus the acid and beer,anyway one time at this dive punk club called the anthrax we were seeing some local hack job band opening for the mentors and I was ready to fight this skin head kid for something like I had long hair any way we start wrestling and it gets broken up by El Duche the singer of the mentors and we all wind up backstage and he lights up a fat spliff of some kind ass weed, said the guitarist grew it indoors and metal heads and skin heads (the non nazi straight edge type) put the hair issue away and laughed together as they rehearsed b4 the show I still laugh when I think of hearing find um feel um fuck um forget um unpluged.....hope you enjoyed the story heres the pics all Iss this is cut found some years ago by a outdoor friend in a 10 pk of federations version of Iss Ive been growing her for about 2 years straight and have her dialed in pretty good she really is very special and unique in her own way day 64 in full flush mode.

truth is I still keep in contact with a few of you guys and watch this thread closely and wanted to add my part cause you all are doing exceptional work...keeping it dank

I have heard that about the DJ strains being good for breeding, thats also something i'm interested in for the future. Thanks to a good friend and a good mentor type character i do have some killer clones. I would like to learn to make some crosses out of them, not to find the next super elite strain, but to just be able to reciprocate for all the good fortune thats been sent my way and have something my friends and i will have some fun with!

At the prices DJ's gear goes for, I think the grower should automatically plan on F2's. This is where the interesting things lie, in the F2's.
Problem is, finding a good male, especially the F13's.

I've run DJ's Blueberry, it was awesome, nice looking, nice smelling, nice tasting, fun daytime high but not nearly as powerful as any of the chem/diesel strains. I'm kind of a lightweight smoker but when i do smoke i want something that packs a punch!!!
I noticed over in the Tom Hill forum that you got some of the Tom Hill Haze also, the race is on to find that alleged 1 in 20!!!

A couple veg pics


This is my Hash Plant mother in a 7gal bubbler...she's probably a C-4 or 5, not sure but the original seedling was germinated about this time last year. Not the best pic but you can tell she's a beast.

In the background in the black bags are mostly HP clones that are just about ready to go into 12/12 (I think there's an F1 White Widow x YumCafe cut in the back row) and in the foreground are also mostly HP clones that are ready to be transplanted into 1gal bags, well there are a few in there that probably won't make the cut. The 3rd, 4th and 5th styro cups (from the left in the front row) are F3 YumCafe seedlings but are from a different F2 mother then the ones I just grew out. I used 3 different moms from the F2 generation and crossed them to the same F2 male. Also to the right in the red keg cup is an F3 YumCafe male.

Just in case I didn't mention it, YumCafe is Sagarmatha's Yumbolt x Mr. Soul's Cafe Girl. The original F1 cross was made in '02 and I've been growing and crossing them just about every year since. I'll be harvesting F4 YumCafe seeds in a week or two from the best female (#7) out of the 8 that I ended up with. The male was saved this time so I can try doing some back crossing (never tried it before.)

And lastly are the 4 best females from the last seedling grow out. The picture is taken on an angle so they're kind of in a diamond pattern, the one in front is an unknown Indica strain that I named Sweetness because well, that's what she smells like You can see that she has a slightly different leaf structure then the others, a bit more jagged. To the left of that is the F1 White Widow x YumCafe...this is the last of this strain in F1 form but I pollinated a clone of it with F3 Yumcafe and (F2?) Sweetness pollen. In the far back (behind the Sweetness) is F3 YumCafe #7....this was pollinated with F3 YumCafe, Sweetness and F1 Chronic x YumCafe. And to the right and barely visible is my pride and joy, F1 YumCafe x (F1?) Sweetness #3...this was pollinated with either F3 YumCafe or Sweetness pollen, not sure which at the moment but I know it was only one of them.

Here's the 2 F1 YumCafe x Sweetness seedlings #3 and #5 about 2 weeks into bloom...#5 wasn't saved due to the ridiculous stretch. I still have probably 500 or more of these seeds left and so far I've already got 2 different phenos. The bags say YumCafe x Hash Plant because that's what I labeled the seeds last year but there is no way in hell that it's Hash Plant....hence the name Sweetness. Whatever it is, it's combined nicely with everything it's come into contact with.

I have one plant that started out as an F1 YumCafe x White Widow and was then crossed to an F2 YumCafe male...those were grown out and the best one was crossed with the original Sweetness male. I have 3 of those in 12/12 about 2 or 3 weeks away from the chop and one of them has the densest nuggets I've ever grown in my life....I mean rock hard, no give whatsoever nuggets. They aren't the fattest buds/colas that I have but they are the hardest. Man I love growing seeds

dan_kass, I like your style, finding what works for you and doing variations on that theme.
Clones are the way to go w/ most peeps, but I get bored stupid. It's all in the journey w/ me, I don't worry about 'losing' anything. I want to look at a lot of genetics, and I'm tossing pollen like breadcrumbs, so I can get back to near where I was, or veer wildly in another direction.

ZenA, I only got 1 pk. and it'll probably be a few yrs before I do 'em. The hazes are the pinnacle of where I'm going @ present. I get up there and I'll be working back down, maybe the way I came, maybe towards the new vistas on the other side. It's the journey.

You guys were talking about outdoor before, i think im gonna give a try of one of my plots as a swamp grow.Swamps are a great idea as they are usually one of the very few places people stay away from.

Highlighter.....IMO growing out seeds is where it's at and for me, it's one of the most rewarding aspects of what I do. I plan on growing out of my oldest seeds (150-200) for the upcoming outdoor season. It's been almost 10 years since I grew under the sun and I'm really looking forward to it so hopefully I find a few quick finishers out of the batch.

I was reading a Congo thread recently in the Ace forum and saw that you were growing it....did the OD's ever finish up? Did you make F2's the last time you grew it? I really like the look of that strain....not too Indica, not too Sativa. If and when I order seeds that one will definitely be on the list.

gmanwho.....yeah, I wasn't kiddin' when I said I make and grow a lot of seeds some people are addicted to smoking it, some are addicted to buying seeds......growing them out is my weakness
