Yeah, I am lucky like that...or alzhiemers is setting in! It was a lb of diesel vac sealed that fell behind a desk with a few oher oz's in sealed bags too, I couldn't believe it.I'll be trimming all afternoon too, I spent the morning planting rockwool cubes into coco and labeling.I planted a shit load of Chem D x Topanga, hell if I lose a few to herms, who cares, there has to be a champion in that set.Had 100% germination and I have a few 300 or so left and an oz jar of semi seeded D(Topanga herm pollen as the dad). I better run I'm screwed!!:):)

Soursmoker, it varies by season for me.

I like to have them hang for 7-10 days and in the winter that can sometimes be problematic because the air is very dry.

To help slow things down I'll often hang whole plants minus fan leaves. Once the buds start to feel dry on the outside I'll start breaking the plant down and trim.

The rest of the year when low RH isn't much of an issue I'll trim wet and hang individual branches.

Trimming is one of those 'YMMV' type of things, IMO.

I like to trim wet, I find it easier for me to do. It probably depends on the plant, as well as the points ras made.

Since i started a couple tester seeds of kg's biker kush v2, I've been reading up some on hermi traits. Im starting to see that in some ways..... " some " male flowers may show that the plant is stronger then one may think. Doing whatever it takes to continue the family line. Survival of the fittest, adapt or perish etc... Or this thought could pass way before Alzheimer's sets in. Slip.. im sure your gonna find more then one champion in there!!!

remember those who have fallen allowing us to enjoy this weekend!! B-safe out there.....

Just now realized why Ma/Ri/Ct has been so slow.....it's been locked for a month:biggrin:

Playing catch-up is always fun in this thread, always inspirational.
Love the look of all the big plants in coco, guys! Respect!:tiphat:

Just Coir never did me wrong, Otto! This ECSDxPre98Bubba got 2/3 of a bag for herself. This pic is a week or so old, she flipped last night and I'm hoping she turns into a fat slob.

I like to hang the whole plant after pulling the fans off unless I have thrips or something like that. When I hang a whole plant I know I can let it sit for a good while and it won't turn to dust. The final trim is easy too when all the dry leaves pop off with your fingers.I like to keep some leaves on there to protect the flowers but not so many that you can smell "the leaf smell" in a jar when you open it.Trimming wet, well I do that too for convenience or if I need something to do, it also gives you more space if your drying area is small....I have soo many diff "strains" up and growing now, this is going to be one hell of a summer but a very busy one, damme I owe the govt a boatload of $$, I better hustle!! Can I complain about taxes here??:) EDIT: Like Tyga said above this habit is very expensive and the profits are not what they used to be.When I said I don't worry about the price I was really inferring that when I go into a hydro shop, I want out asap, my mother still goes on and on about the DEA showing up at her house in 89' during Green merchant.Lucky I was long gone but for a few yrs you had to show your drivers license just to buy worm castings, that was a rough time, from 87'-92' or so.I wouldn't even talk about weed for 4 yrs after that Green Merchant crap!!! That's one of the reasons I was such a loyal Worms Way customer for 15 yrs, they did all the fighting to beat the DEA and opened the door for all these other shops to open up.People forget what Martin Sr had to go through back then. They lost me when they dropped Hydrofarm though....

This is a chunk of bud from a whole plant dried 2 weeks and a day. This is the third Sour BX I've cut up and this one is closest to the sour.It has that sour, sharp twang that sticks in your nose. This was the plant with the freaky giant cola...:)

Been a few months or years since I been around this thread, but better late than never.

Is the cut people refer to as Guava chem, the same as the guava pheno of stardawg? We have the cut of guava that is a select pheno of stardawg, however I tried guava this weekend and it was pretty different than ours, tasted more chem d like. Ours taste more chem 4. Could just be different growing methods and styles I suppose.

Damn I knew I should have grabbed those Stardawg beans they released a few months back.... Anyone still running the GSC? ...

We ran into another grower at a camping event this past weekend and were able to finally try out some GSC flowers. Was funny he was talking about the strains he ran, and I hunch over and ask and realize we had met at a party about 5 years prior, neither of us remembered haha.

I managed to grab a few pics of the Early Pearl before lights on.This one is looking stellar, the flower clusters are just starting to widen and round off for what I hope will be a spectacular finish. This a fun plant to grow for sure and she has the whole room to herself. She def doesn't stretch much!:)
