#1 and a few s99 x ( abusive x kushaze) AKA blueblood still going strong at my swamp...... suppose to rain Thursday so that's when I'm gonna go visit ..... pretty sure 3 blue bloods will get chopped along with my only bs2.2 ...... I'm gonna gamble w #1 for an extra week unless I see reason to take her this week.

Yeah kinda crazy... not my first time this late. . .'10 I was shakin snow off some sours that were heavy on the sativa side....think they had some haze in em though

But next year I'll be running a bunch of clone only that should finish in September....plus the trusty MOB....hopefully run 1/3 of my total as MOB....got a few bubba x cush beans to try as well

Don't sleep on them beans .....with all the OD potential from s99 and mightymite/freeze land..... there's bound to be a star in the bunch .....How did your MOB crosses do? This will be first time w her and I'm excited to see what she can do.... one of our buddies on here has a bush indoors to flip so I'm excited to see how quick and sweet she is.

How did your MOB crosses do?

Good man, thanks fo askin :) MOB/Freeze came in mid sept, MOB/ Allagash a little later, but not by much. She def adds frost, berry and compact habit to crosses.

MOB....it s not very mold resistant but will finish second week in sept while it s still golden weather. The thing that makes it tricky is getting it to veg well and rather than going into quasi-flower when put out. Best results are from putting out small cuts end of may/early june. They need to go out in a juvenile state. Anything big, or vegged too much just freaks and you don't get dense cones, you get airy, flat, foxtail buds. Young plants, big holes ftw:ying:

Good for ya bro....glad they worked well for ya.

Interesting info on the MOB .... yeah the plan was to veg em to 8" or so in beer cups and drop those into predug holes and tubes of coco and compost mid June..... I'm gonna buy up a pack of dp Durban to find a male to cross out to MOB cause that was quick citrus smell and very resistant to pm & mold.

Maine, Fuck ya....

Maine, Fuck ya....

Heard some news of this a few months back. Big step for New England. First step of many. Cut and pasted from

http://www.ibtimes.com/portland-maine-votes-legalize-marijuana-possession-1457216

or

http://www.huffingtonpost.com/2013/11/05/portland-maine-marijuana_n_4221919.html

Portland, Maine, voted overwhelmingly Tuesday to pass a city law that legalizes marijuana possession.

"Yes" votes led "No" votes 67 percent to 32 percent with partial returns from all 12 precincts, reports the Portland Press Herald. The measure's passage will make Portland the first city on the East Coast to legalize marijuana. The ordinance allows possession of up to 2.5 ounces of marijuana for personal use by adults age 21 or older. But it does not provide a legal way for residents to obtain the drug.

Marijuana remains illegal under federal laws, and only medical marijuana is allowed under state laws. Portland's police chief said that officers will continue to follow state law no matter the vote's outcome. This means those possessing up to 2.5 ounces of the drug may be fined between $350 to $1,000 or face a civil summons. Criminal charges can also be brought for selling, packing or furnishing marijuana.

According to the Press Herald, no organized opposition spoke out against the referendum in Portland. But many in treatment and prevention facilities for drug addiction said the measure would expand access to the drug and may give children the impression that the drug is safe. But supporters of the measure say they hope to build on the success of the Yes on 1 campaign and launch a statewide effort to legalize marijuana in the next two years.

I know this old guy with arthritis and he went to his regular family practitioner and she prescribed mmj. It's the first time I've heard of a reg Dr prescribing mmj for anything but I'm not in the old folks home yet discussing my meds... Actually neither is he but she hooked him up with a place in Boston where he could obtain it?? Thought that was sort of interesting. She's had him on some other type of arthritis meds but they're little help so she made the hurdle. I think this is good news because so many of us over 40 something have arthritis somewhere that bugs us. According to the Dr it's very effective.

Has anybody grown the MOB outside by vegging her to a good 3ft and placing her out on the 22nd of June? Would she still act crazy with all declining days? I had no idea she was not mold proof. I assumed that since she came from Maine she may have been chosen for that reason other than being a nice, flavorful smoke. Shoot, if she molded up this season, a bad yr could be tough! I sure would like to try.

Fuck yeah P-town! 67% of the people have spoken, looks like Portland may become a mini Denver. Guess they're hoping for a full state legalization in 2 more years, the way Maine is I see it happening with a landslide just like Portland voted. Some growers aren't happy about this because they feel threaten by big investors or an over flood of buds. Me personally I have no problems with it. We've all heard people say before "anyone/everyone can grow weed it isn't anything special" and yes I agree with those people to a point, All I can say to them is "your right, but anyone/everyone can pick up a basketball and say they play, doesn't mean your good at it."

Highsteppa, beautiful looking stardawg, have you been able to smoke on it yet?

So i tried something new I brewed up a batch of tea for my new round of plants. EWC, molasses, and a bunch of bennies. I've heard nothing but good things about using this stuff so it was time to take a dive.

All this MOB talk is crazy, hung out with a local the other day and he hooked me up with some MOB buds, def some of the best smelling and tasting bud out their.....Berry syrup wine is all I picture in my head. Also got hooked up with some LA confidental, as soon as I opened up the jar I had flashbacks of SSH, this pheno smells dead on with a killer SSH pheno, not bad for some outdoor that was not taken care of properly.

Flawless Otto & Highsteppa!!

Awesome news for Maine & New England in General... Couple more years fellas, couple more years...

Otto, I've been back on teas for a month or so now and I'm loving it! I've been adding mycos at transplant & just a tad EWC around the mycos. Then been feeding those OGBioWar teas every other week, and wow man, they flipping love that stuff!

You must spread some Reputation around before giving it to Ottoman again.^^ very nice bro, and no haven't sampled it yet.

Can't say I have but I think she'd start flowering. Though it seems when they go to quasi-flower they still finish at the same time, sept 7-12 roughly. Fwiw, selfed MOB is beans are comng in mid oct, so it very likely is a photo sensitive freak rather than an early strain. That beign said, in crosses it doesnt seem to effect the harvest time by making it later.:dunno:

Well said CDM.
Couldn't agree more on the praise for local activists and freedom loving people of the state.
Even though the local PD says they will enforce state law, that does not mean anyone will get convicted if they take their case to a jury trial. Local DAs may still try to get people to take a plea bargain, but the magic will only happen if people stand up and refuse to be criminalized.
After a few cases where people caught red handed are found not guilty by juries because they are honoring local law, not the state law, the cops will be asked to stop wasting taxpayer money on the arrests as in the end it amounts to nothing more than harassment.
This is the time to start an information campaign about jury nullification. Never been a better chance with the small size of the area allowing concentrated grass roots media efforts to have a chance.

Back to the plants.
Are you guys running all this organic stuff in coco?

Well.... let's test it out next season ..... I'll put out small clones of MOB starting early June until the solstice.....And I'll put out a beach ball 21.6.14....and see how they do....heads up and doc which trigger first VS which finish first.

I wonder if vegging hours has a factor....ie 20hrs vs 18hrs vs 16hrs..... perhaps she is a take photosensitive and going from 18 inside to 14 outside it too big of a jump and she gets triggered..... we shall test her in 14 and hopefully make a few different reg crosses and a few fem crosses

I'll take a stab at this :)

I have found this site really helpful in making those plans:
http://astro.unl.edu/classaction/animations/coordsmotion/daylighthoursexplorer.html

At 42.3° N (Boston) on the day after summer solstice (June 21st) you'd have 15.1 hours of sunlight:
15.1 - June 21st
12 - September 23rd
10.3 - October 30th

You could start reducing hours from whatever you normally run (18 or 24?) and match the natural clock on transplant. If you start high and the rate of change is too steep, I suspect it may contribute to trigger "premature flip."

Hell, if you can dedicate a space to it, run them at 15:15 from seed indoors leading to the transplant.

Should probably also consider moon phases in this.
Calendar here:
http://www.moonconnection.com/moon_phases_calendar.phtml
New moon waxing up to full on July 12th, as sun cycle declines, extending your veg cycle.
Showing sex in August as sun hours drop to 13.9 at the same time you veg bump with full moon on Aug 11 (stretch?) Plants dropping into full flower from there (13 hours of light Sept 1st.)
