Toxic, clay sulak up in Maine is a good dude who does testing thru interg8. They're just one of the doctors practice that hands out medical cards. I know there are few other places in mass and rhody too but I would have to say I trust clay the most mainly because I've met him personally and shot the shot with him and he is educated, knowledgeable, honest, passionate about the plant as much as us. Hit me up he need more info.

Heyyy massholes,

I'll be back in state for the foreseeable future, arriving this fall. Wondering what the consensus is on getting a med card to protect myself for growing some plants? Would love to get caught up on the attitude towards med growers, how difficult is it to get a rec, etc etc...

Hope the heat waves are all passed by the time I'm back so I can get the garden setup right away

Oh i do EC, I am a very private grower who always keeps his mouth shut. Was recently been told i have an "east coast mentality" about cannabis/growing (ie paranoid) since growing up out here. Living in MA now so im glad to hear the attitude is changing a bit.

The past 4-5 years i've lived in Cali and had my med card which gave me peace of mind in the event anything happened. Nothing did, but it gave me comfort.

Not sure if a card would actually protect me if a bust happened but i would hope it could strengthen a case...

^^Now that's what I'm talking about when I'm looking for a keeper. I had the GSC Forum cut for awhile and loved it but like many of the good ones over the years I lost her due to improper labeling in the veg room. Seems like the GSC makes nice crosses like OG and GG#4.
This is the mid section of a GG#4 x Lucifer. At first she looked like she might be mediocre but as she's moving into the late 40's of flowering she's starting to look nice.

i enjoy forum x's better than i do the cut itself seems she blends very nicely to most stuff.

That's why I wished I'd kept her but I liked the smoke myself, although I'm quite a lightweight. I couldn't make her put up more than a few oz's though. The smells on the Lucy cross are much like the Lucy mom, very chemical. People have told me that if they hadn't known I'd grown it they would have thought it had been treated with some weird spray or some such.

Stardog, your Lucy mom is a gem. Smoking some nugs of that one now, such a great find man. Flavor, smell, looks, high... she's got it all. How long do you usually take her? I'm thinking 70 days, but any tips you have I'm all ears.

Im so glad to see this thread getting some action again. When i first joined ic a few years ago, this was one of my favorite threads.
Now we just need CDM to post from time to time and ill be a happy camper

Ras, that Lucy will do whatever you want. She's good at 65, great at 70, smokin' at 80 and still going at 90. Fly by must have a joke for that one...the only thing I've noticed with the Lucy is she makes better clones when cloned in an aero cloner. I bought one small one about a year ago to see if I could make her root a bit easier. Anyway for some reason the cuts that come out of the cloner have more branches and tighter nodes. If they end up with a massive root ball in the cloner I just trim them back so they fit into a beer cup.
We've had really good luck with the cloner and it makes having 16 Lucys rooted and ready much easier. Sometimes in just coco she'll take 15 days to root and produces taller lankier plants.Don't know why but it seems to be the case.

thanks rasp. this one has spicey/hazey scent with slight lemon undertones. there a lil kush smell to her also but barely registers when takin a whiff.

Star, good to know. Sounds like a very grower friendly harvest window. I'll have to take her 80 and work back from there to see which I like best. Nothing with Kush in its name gets to see 90 days in my garden. Man's gotta have a code. Interesting about the aero cloner, not the first time I've heard stuff like that. I've seen something like that but going the other way, SFV does better for me in cubes than aero cloners. In water she drags ass but in cubes she gets going quick, popping at 10-12 days. She'll sit in the aero for 2-3 weeks before any roots pop. Could just be me, I'm always open to that possibility.

Toxic, surprised the OG got pushed out by the SSH. As the mom they're usually pretty dominant. Not a bad thing, though. Spicy haze with lemon undertones still sounds pretty good to me! Hope she smokes like a charm for you. That's a great cross on paper, you make that one?

a homie hooked me up with 11 97 ssh f2's he made from stock directly from shanti and his cup winning stock. i found a nice male and hit the legend and a couple other things. surprised me also that theres been zero legend leaners. i popped 24 more a few weeks ago looking for a couple of females and males. i did find a male this run that has some ogk traits.

Say wwwhhhaaa!!? Not that i knew him that well but im kinda surprised by that. He was such a good grower and good lordie did he have a helluva sweet set up. Musta took him 6 months to tear down.
Anyways I wish him the best in whatever he decides to do next. He is definitely one cool cat

Thanks amigo. it might be a stretch but u could even say tripled down on the chem.. maybe even quadrupled down. All 4 components have chem in them actually.
GG4 got the chem sis. (and also theres chem in the sour dubb too, and shit actually also in the chocolate diesel.)
Then the G6 Jetfuel (from 303 seeds) is: Aspen OG x High Country Diesel [(SFV OG Kush x (Orignal Sour Diesel x G13 Haze)] x (Original Diesel x East Coast Sour Diesel)
So theres plenty of chem in that.
and obviously the Chem 91 and stardawg are straight chem, so yeah, i guess we could say quadrupled down on the chemdoggie.

fwiw I also used the G6 x stardawg pollen on Corey stardawg, ECSD, True OG, Cherry Cookies #12, forum, Thin mint, Prayer Tower, fuzz, Sour Dubble, gg4 and a cut i call Dragon fruit.
So far ive only popped 2 each of Corey x, (gg4 x c91) x, and true og x.. and I'm liking what im seein, especially for only 2 beans each

The Chem 91 s1 male was found by Hummus Monk in stock from cobcoop.
I dusted this pollen on the gg4 and got a small amount of seed.
I only popped a few (gg4 x c91 s1 male) beans so far and the females were pretty nice. But im hoping to find something better in the remaining stock
