Will do a pic tommorow on what I got on my sp series. Drivers are the same brand, just different model based on power needs. All drivers are encapsulated so no connector on them, but some have water tight connectors on the wires, they are plastic ones with a thread and a cap that presses on a rubber grommet. Kinda like what you would see on a solar power system, but smaller.
You could always cut the end plug for the mains and replace it with whatever connector you need, as long as your mains is within the drivers input range. 110V AC & 220V AC standards are ok.
But better check first with mars hydro to see if they can provide them straight from the factory in the configuration you need.

I bought the FC 6500, which came with the 220v cord. I asked for the 120v cord because of USA power.
They sent it. I have no use for the 220v cord.
So It is available.

:plant grow:

The packing man might made a mistake. It should be 110V US plug in original package.

I just looked at my lights as well, the TS2000 i have has that psu connector you were asking about. It has moso driver, just like dd showed on his.
The SP3000 on the other hand has meanwell drivers and no standard psu connector, but a watertight one as I told you in my last post.
From what I know fc series has meanwell drivers as well now, and may not have the psu connector as you were hoping.
The socket adapter is a great fix and cheap enaugh.

P.S. Just hung the new SP3000 led in my tent today. It's a monster of a light. Can't wait to start the grow with it. 3-4 weeks left of the current grow (with TSW2000), then we start the new adventure.

a little update for FC lights. FC4800 and FC6500 also use moso drivers. The quality is the same as inventronic driver that we used before. FC3000 is still meanwell.

Cannot wait to see the SP3000 grow diary. :D

Main differences between FC and FCE series.

FCE light:

-- The bar is detachable and movable. You can customize the light distribution through moving the bar.
-- More chips are clustered on the ends of bar. This makes the surrounding par will not descrease sharply. So side plants also can grow well.
-- The chips are bridgelux. It is more bright than samsung. The max lumen is 230/W, samsung is 220/W.

These are the main difference between FC series.

One more is that FCE is more easily to pack. The package is smaller so the shipping fee is lower.

FCE seems like a good ideea for smaller or unusual size/form factor of grow space.
I would love to see how people are using the detachable bar function. Can you extend the bars on the sides of the frame, mounted on just one end, to lose intensity and gain surface? Or do you have to make diy suports/hangers for each light bar of it's not in it's default position?
I bet something like this would be more appealing if people could see a schematic or photo of some of the ways it can be customised.
Even a video demo would be great, but at least a pic or something. Is there a place we can see something like this? Cause I didn't see any grows on Icmag that make use of that function yet.

P.S. Can't wait to start the new grow as well.
