Hi Guys. Any of you had a chance to use the light that the spectrum is adjustable? Would the plants grow better under this kind of light?

Do you think controlling the UV and IR separately will perfect the LED light?

I am open to any your ideas. :yay:

That could be helpful, but then we would have to do a lot of growing to find out which spectrum is better. Dunno if many have the time or want to do that.. some like it simple.

The greater the number of wavelengths the better it will be. The problem with adjusting wavelengths is it always means turning some down, since they can't really be changed. I don't really think UV is helpful. Nor am I that bothered about green. Perhaps turning red and blue up and down separately may be of benefit, but I'd rather pay for more spectrum, or just add more red and be done with it.

Yes, it needs to be tested. We found there was a light design that can adjust the spectrum in market. If it can help promote the final yield a lot, we might consider this design in future.

You are referring to the Geek lights Pro model, it can be controlled thru wifi.
I like the FC-E6500, except it needs to be named FC-E7000 and one more bar added, to make all outer areas lit.

I have been asking him to join icmag you for over a year, a very stubborn guy.
He could compare his notes to what he sees.
He was unable to convince me to buy those lights before I bought the FC 6500.

Oh, some areas of the UK are up to 250 volts, here its 240 although standard is 230, max for the box is 220. Not for the UK?

It says AC 100 to 277V right there in the picture. I would not worry about things like that, since those drivers are of good quality and of course designed for all AC standards.
