I’m about 3 weeks into flower and believe I’ve got a green malawi pheno, as I’m pretty sure I would have seen some purple by now otherwise and the leaves are what I would consider sativa dominate as the blades of the leaves start off very narrow and have no overlap with each other.

Very easy to grow so far but I guess I haven’t hit the difficult part yet.

Thank you for the warm welcome @dubi

I am an amateur closet/cabinet grower. Just into it for my own satisfaction. It’s very difficult to find anyone who grows weed well and absolutely impossible to find anyone who grows anything interesting. Enter me, Please be kind/forgiving.

I’d be very interested in any insight you could offer, and advice you have to spare. Thank you.

And I know that second last pic has thrip damage, it’s been dealt with - just want to show some old garbage growth

I guess I’d like to know that if a leaf blade starts out like this… what does it mean? If anything?? My experience has always been that it’ll be sativa leaning/powerful.

Thanks for the confirmation @dubi - I’m growing in a small space with only a 200w light but she seems to be happy so far - do you think she’ll end up reflowering? Not sure the light is intense enough? Also, should I stay on 12/12 or would 11/13 be a better light schedule?

I cloned her and have another one vegging but I also have a golden tiger I started but might backseat now and pop another pck x Malawi in hopes of finding what I was looking for. Not disappointed at all though, as this just takes me in another direction that’s equally as interesting.

I try my best! :) the malawi x pck mom smells interestingly mostly like malawi. Oily/woody with a tiny bit of fruitiness from the pck in the back. Its got a creative friendly mostly up high i would say. Greets!

Ok folks day 37 here. I had a Violeta throw a couple male flowers but hopefully it didnt do too much damage . The phenos are starting to show . Smells are gaining character and becoming unique . I will describe them better in a week or so .
MPCK1 -5 in pics below . The labels are visible if you zoom in .

So I’m about 8 weeks in, I don’t want to show pics because they look a bit rough 😂. Even with moving the carbon filter they stretched too close to the light and started getting gnarly, had to turn 200w down to 150w. They’re pretty happy now and I’m seeing more brown pistils. Still think I’ll have maybe another month to go. The smell is like wood varnish/pine/citrus/cleaner - but it is changing as it progresses.

All the lower buds have a lot of lavender to the actual buds but the tops don’t, not sure it it’s inside or if the light stress fucked that up??

I have a clone of this that a put in flower 2 weeks ago and I’m hoping to have learned from a few of the mistakes I made here.

I must say this cross is really amazing . I have never even seen Malawi before probably because I am not the biggest sativa fan when it comes to me growing them .
It is quite obvious what components each pheno takes from the parents . There is such a nice combo of good traits I will have a tough time narrowing down the “keepers” . Smells range from grape blueberry fuel to that spicy incense aroma . I know I will have some seeds from the male flowers that popped out on the one Violeta but it looks like overall the room wasnt pollinated too bad 🤞
