I'm looking for African landrace seeds (Congolese, West African, Agolan etc.) if anyone knows where I can find pure any sativa landrace lines I'd like to know. Thanks
Take a look at the offerings from ACE. Lots of people speak highly of their strains.

Hi my friend I would second that, I dont know if they are all pure landraces, but they def get me where I want to go. I have found Golden Tiger, Panama and Zamaldelica once cobbed to be as strong as most Malawi you get in Malawi.
Plus they always grow easily and produce huge yields. I am growing a Golden Tiger and Zamaldelica right now and am very excited by the aromas of the buds. If I had those 3 from Ace and Mulanji gold which I do. I dont need anything else EVER cobbed they are the best highs I have come across since I left Africa no bullshit, its all I need.

Suceeded to cob some outdoor buds inside citchen baking paper, weed is good,
smells sweet and exchanged same as i was cobb her inside corn husk.

Another experiment where i cobbed inside mylar baggie was also sucessfull and
stone is fully transformed in real deal cobbed weed, whithouth any mold or funkyness.

Also made all this whithouth any pre-vacuming of cobs, think a main thing is those
sweating under a steady temperatures of 50-55 C and actually temps and a bit of wettness inside buds transform weed in more potent fermented version,in mine view beneficial bacteries are main guilt for better effects of cobed weed.

Excuse me for being a smart ass but i needed to share mine insights and experience
with cobbing, and even i dont know a final answer i just need to share what i think is happening in those process.

All the best

Hi Dog Star its all cool my friend, the Africans dont use vac bags either, so your doing very well without them. I take my hat off to you. Any pictures? i always love the look of a good cobb.

Didnt take any picture and now it will be lame as i was dismantle them
in little chunks... but i can picture those that i prepared for smoking.

First what i encounter is that from dark green buds with some purple leafes she become
light green-yellow coloured, also material consistency exchanged in lot softer than it was,
it looks like "decomposed" weed after i cut chunks in smaller pieces with scissors,so loose
on touch.

Loosed terpene part of smell that exchanged with sickly sweet sweet smell, since this was
a buds of Alien Gift, mostly indica polyhybrid a stone is like you get drunk beside
those stoned feel,very potent indeed.

Will take pics and later i show in thread here, will compare how buds looks normal jar cured and those cobb chunks side by side, colour transform to Gold one.

Was buy at Green Lake Genetics a Oaxacan Zipolite and Acapulco Gold,

cobbing of indica polyhybrids just made them more couchlocky, dreamy and more stronger,
its all good but i wish same as you to cob some good sativas and get those trippy, happy
type of highs.

Eating this cob that i made with indica polyhybrid just enlarge couchlock and then i go to sleep or eat,not bad for certain medical states but i wish to move more so sativas are must for future.

Swazi Gold looking very good.

All the best Tangwena

Panama Black Cob

Panama Black Cob

Well yesterday I had 0.4g of the black cob I made 6 months ago. When I first tried this after a month of aging it was scary in that my brain felt frazzled and things were happening at the corners of my vision that alarmed me it was not the laid back deep trippy ride that I get from the golden brown Panama cob.
Well its now 6 months aged and the high has evolved into the laid back calm easy going Panama high I am used to. The strong trippy aspect of the high lasts at least 8hrs and the effects can still be felt 12 hrs later. I was able to get some very hard work done, all the while feeling detached and far away. Its like I was in a movie and I was watching a person like myself working. I was scraping off silicone that was stuck onto a hatch I had removed from my boat. Not the most enjoyable job as I was in the full sun.
But with some music playing it was not a problem and two hours later it was all done expertly.
This high seems a lot more focused than the golden cob. Which is so strong the high comes in waves for the first 4 hours and its very hard to do any kind of work as I cant fully concentrate.
It shows how the different cures can change the high of buds from the same plant, I would never pick this type of high as the Panama if I had to taste the two cobs blind folded.

Aright, so heres my second go through. I sweat them so the inside of the bag was moist for a few hours to begin with, but then i put them in a new bag to seal, and they may have dried a little bit between bags, but still were slightly moist. Heres where my high ass slipped up, I put them somewhere cool and dark instead of hot in the vacuumed bags for the first 2 weeks. I checked um n they hadnt changed much, and I couldnt find anywhere to put them to make them warm, since at this point I had reread and slapped my forehead. So I would fill a pot with hot water and then put the vacuum sealed bags in the hot water to warm them up, then they sat on top of the tv for another week. They are real spoungy but not quite the color Im lookin for...

What u think I should do with these? Re-vacum seal them, get um real hot for a while? I got a heating pad im using for the next round, maybe leave um in there?

Which brings me to my next question.

Im doing another round, this one a little fresher to start, dry on outside, water leaves pull off, but stems bendy, and nugs fluffy bendy. So I put the cobs in a vac bag and folded it over, then put them in between the heating pads for about 12 hours. When I checked um they were real wet, and actually had accumulated some water in the bag. I shook out the water, then vacuum sealed it and put it back in the heating pad wrapped like a burrito. Was this too wet to vacuum seal it? Should I have dried it out a lil bit before sealing it up? I can always cut it open if so. Also how long would recommend I leave it in the high heat area? a day, week? If I had to guess Id say its about 110-115 f degrees in there...

Get Mo the first one is still a bit green BUT I wouldn't write it off, its amalgamated nicely I think give it a month to age and you will have a nice cob, the green ones can be quite good after aging just a different high.
Your description of the second cob is spot on my friend, what you have done is perfect.
After a week open the bage and check the cob, if it is the color you want take it out and partially dry it take a piece for sampling and revacuum the cob to age it for a month or three.
If it is not the color you want vac seal it up for another week or three. You have a winner there, the water from the sweating is fine, and even from the curing in the heat mat can produce water its all quite normal and has come from the buds.
I now use a cheap yogurt maker they cost about $60 on ebay and are a bucket with a top that stays at 40c for long periods. It is slower than using a crockpot but if you vac seal some loose buds in the bag with the cob you can see the loose buds change color over 4 or 5 days. Its a good indicator for whats happening inside the cob without opening the bag.
Plus the buds cured loose like that are awesome in their own right.
We are all learning and sharing my friend this method is evolving fast and getting better every day.

Looks nice mate, get yourself a yogurt maker its easy to check the change with the loose buds in bag alongside the cobs. It is also fun watching them change as well, dial up your own cure. These buds were green as going in and 3 days later they changed and you know what they are powerful already! I dried them to about 50% wet.
They were very wet coming out the vac bag from the Yogurt maker
Then I made a cob with them vac sealed them and they are now aging at room temp. Viola Malawi Gold and speedy as hell at the moment. After aging they will be trippy as fuck. Those Durban cured this way will make you shit yourself my friend.
Sharing is caring this is for you.

Thats wuts up! So i should leave it in the heat mat for the week?
Yes cook her for a week and then check whats up. Cook longer if you have to, if you get it to be dark brown black after aging it will scare the living day lights out of you true as my friend

With the right tools and a little imagination you can do amazing things my friend. Its awesome watching the cure progress, and then stopping it and preserving then aging the buds.
Wrapping in a cob or loose it works both ways and produces different levels of fermentation and cure. Whats not to love.

Swazi red beards

Swazi red beards

The latest batch of red devils from the Swazi plants one plant will probably go another week or two as it just starting a new flush of growth and its the one that smelled best so it will be given more time.
Here is a few pics including one of the buds before and after the 3 day cure. These will now be partially dried then vac sealed to age.
