OK, so you guys wil laugh but..... Bripey is a cross between "Brian" and "Peyote". Brian is a neighbour that gave me some branches from a plant that he grew. He didn't know what to do after the growing part. Anyway, there were some seeds in it. He mentioned that the guy (he is a botinist at a University) that gave him the plant might have mentioned "Cookies". The weed seemed pretty good so.....and the Peyote is from seeds from another friend. Anyway, this a cross between those two. I'm not sure how good the Peyote is - I am reserving judgement on it.
As I type this I have just taken a chocolate and was not able to save much to chew - this might not be a good delivery system.
So, Tangwena, you don't have a bad memory as I have never told this sad tale before!!!
I realize that I am probably not working with the best genetics here but they suit me and it is what I have.
I have more cobs that I have made from Blue Cookies crossed with "Brian" that I think is better.
Maybe you should cross them to some Tangwena from me ha ha.
Brother there is a lot to get out of this lark. like chewing or chocolate first thing in the morning and feeling fit and strong all day.
Then just pass out as required at night.
That is so different from the effects I get. If you want all the aches and pains to disappear and feel like your 16 again let me know.

@Hombre del mont Just a quick shot of a wad of Zenith. I just chewed about 0.1g and boy has it lifted me off ha ha.
Its got a floral metalic aroma I have not come across before and a medicinal taste fantastic.
Lucky I pollinated it with my Mulanje so its going to get even more euphoric next generation ha ha.
Just about to go wading in shallow crystal clear water fishing whiting and I'm pumped ha ha.

Just over 6 weeks curing it will be super cryptonite once aged phew.
Big thanks to you and our benefactor @dubi. I cant count how many times I give thanks to you brother.

@Tangwena, sounds like you got the speedy pheno. Be careful! We don't want you climbing the walls and, god forbid, falling off. 😂

We've yet to give our's (we got both phenos), a proper go yet, but the little we have tried suggests that it's going to be very special. I like the idea of crossing it to the Mulanje.

That's it's, Decision made. We're testing it again today! Pheno #1

I'll report back tomorrow.🙂

Yes def got that pheno ha ha. Been wading in knee deep water fishing for 4 hours in the sun.
Guess what if the tide had not decided to go out I would still be there ha ha.
Once aged it will be a very nice driven euphoric high I am sure.

Awwww, C'mon you guys!!!!!:smoky:I had to go wading thru ankle deep snow at -12 C to put some more wood in my outdoor wood furnace!!!!
I am second guessing my idea of mixing the cob into chocolate...or....I need to leave it in bigger chuncks. When I use my grinder, it is too fine and when the chocolate melts, I swallow too much without chewing.
It sure is a fun experiment tho!!! Did I mention - I love cob!! :whee::dance013::whee:

Amen to that!
We have snow too; but on the mountains above us. Best place for it!
Down at our level it was a pleasant 25c today.
In the last hour it's just stated raining; something we've not really seen for many months. Tomorrow there'll be a lot more snow and that has a big impact on our temperatures, especially at night. I hate the cold and look forward to the summer temperatures. Give me 35+ any day.

!I'm getting So high, on some 14month Golden Tiger (black cure😉, not for day time).

It's getting difficult to type now and I have to many thoughts. 😂

I believe that where we both live have similar climates, although it's quite a bit warmer there during the day at this time of year than it is here. I live inland a bit from San Francisco and our high temps are about 11-15 C degrees this time of year (50-65F). Fortunately we've been getting some decent rain this "winter" (term used lightly) as we've been in a drought for the last few years. A couple of hours drive up into the mountains has tons of snow (Tahoe, CA is a popular skiing area up there), so we can have warm-ish days but only a short drive away they have snow. The ocean is only about 45 minutes the other direction, so if one had a wet suit at this time of year they could technically swim in the morning and ski in the afternoon too!

I'm with you @Hombre del mont ... 35C anytime for me works just fine! Cheers, enjoy the ride! :)

Ohhhh, that's too much for me - I like it 25 C (with a slight breeze) - I know, I know.....fussy, fussy, fussy...but I likes what I likes!!!! :dance013:
I am finding that one chocolate gives me a pretty nice buzz but tonite I will try two....in the spirit of scientific discovery!!!!:whee:
Hey @Buzzzzd, my sister-in-law is the same as you, she doesn't appreciate much warmer than 25C either. I'm guessing that you don't live too far from where she does, she's near Parry Sound, Ontario :). The problem with warm temps up there in the summer is the humidity! I really am not a fan of high humidity, although thunderstorms are kind of a fun result during the summer! Where I live it's generally low humidity so when the temps get hot it's still quite nice. Cheers!

Enjoy the research!

Yesterday finally caught a break in the weather. Grabbed 0.5g of Mulanje and hit the water.
We found a nice sheltered bay and settled in to fish for 3 hours.
I was only going to have half of the Mulanje but thought I'd just chew it a bit then spit it out for a quick high.
Which i promptly forgot about and chewed the lot up ha ha.
I was spacing out looking at the water like it had oil on the surface and moving in slow motion ha ha.
When I got the feeling a big cod was eying my squid bait it was as if I could see him eying it up.
Then bang! I was on and true as God it was a nice cod.
I was rebaiting and thinking thats a lovely bait for a cod he's just going to suck that right in ha ha.
No sooner had I cast it out than bang! another fat cod.

My wife said she couldn't believe it one after the other. But it was not over a third cast and another cod by this time my wife was blown right away ha ha.
I'll post some pics as proof later when I clean the catch we caught our bag limit and were back home before lunch ha ha.
We ended up with an esky full of great eating fish we had what the locals call "a day on the bay"
I asked the wife to take some pics of the scenery but we were both busy fighting fish ha ha.
So here's one I took earlier ha ha.

Hola all you cob artists!

Quick question: approximately what is the density, volume / weight, of cob herb?

Like, how big does a 1 oz cob come out? Or 1/2, or 1/4, or whatever size you people shape them into?

I need to get some long term storage ready, and will pack my harvest fairly tight.
Trying to figure out the size of my storage containers for a couple of oz (at a guess, still weeks from harvest).
Won't be a proper cob cure, but I figure cob density will be pretty similar to how I'm going to pack.
I used to store my herb in a similar way a long time ago, 1/4 oz pellets wrapped tight.
They were prob about 12 cm long by 2.5 to 3 cm thick, about 60-80 ml in volume.
That's from memory, early '90s, haha, so could be totally inaccurate.

Thanks!
