Malawi Style Cob Curing.

Ha ha my wifes always taking the piss out of me when I tear up on cobs. Dont watch any deep and meaningful movies while coming down ha ha.
I say coming down because going up watching movies is the last thing on your mind ha ha

Women can be a bit harsh at times
I'm finding the cob high to be like tripping but way better. It's so much more warm and friendly. No way I'd be watching a movie either; it's lights out, warm house, trippy music, couch time, put on my Mindfold and see where the journey takes me. Mindfolds are great for tripping and meditation and they work awesome with cob too.

I've been reading a bit about sublingual absorption as opposed to swallowing and it seems that sublingual is absorbed straight into the bloodstream and so bypasses the digestive tract, which is pretty hard-core. I'm getting the hang of chewing cob and letting it sit in my mouth instead of swallowing. For some reason my head sweats on cob and last night it started after only 15 minutes and I was high not long after. Pretty cool.
Tried the Bangi Haze last night and she took me to beyond wonderful for a few hours and then floated me down to just wonderful for a few hours more. Then it was time for bed and a woman I've had the hots for for years came to me in my dreams and had her way with me. A perfect end to a perfect end:)
I listened to this cool Allan Watts vid with music that will take you beyond the beyond if you're high enough.

Now now its not for you to judge pleasure is pleasure my friend.
It may be you reading into it something you have fantasies about.
Lets keep the posts on the straight and narrow, its cobs were here to talk about there are other forums for fantasies or so I am told, not that I would know about that myself ha ha.

Mick your new nickname is Hands Solo....and anyway, he claims that he wasn't doing a five finger shuffle, he was practicing a new one handed cob rolling technique.

On the subject of getting emotional after partaking of some quality cob, I gotta confess this song by the late Dan Seals, left me with a tear in my eye fer sure. Even old Willie Nelson seemed lost in thought as he listened to the song.

I love to get high and listen to every Dire Straits song, especially Brothers in arms and Telegraph Road, the cobs take you there with Mark :)

Hello people. Excited to join in on this great topic. I've been reading about this cobbing for some time, and made a few cobs from the last crop. I have enjoyed this great medicine for over a decade daily, and only in recent years started to experiment with extracts, oils etc.

I love Rick Simpson Oil, and make alot of coconut infusions. I smoke it, i eat it, i use it topically, i rinse my teeth with it, which ever way possible to enjoy it. I believe strongly in the endocannabinoid system, and the ability of phytocannabinoids to repair an unstable system. After about a month on RSO, i was even more convinced.

But, for some reason, this cob thing is something else. Ever since i saw the first pictures, i somehow knew that this is The way to something else.

Guys and gals, thank you for sharing your knowledge and experiments. I also love the ego-free environment. No pissing contests, just pure love of this herb we all cherish.

This may be a stupid question, but how do i upload pics?`I would love to share the pics of my first cobs.

Same cob, with a little tobacco leaf stripped, about two weeks of ferment after the initial sweat.

The Ultimate by Dutch Passion. About a week in vacuum, sweat at 40c for 40 hours.

The Ultimate, after three weeks of vacuum. Unsealed it to dry just a bit and let it breath overnight wrapped in coffee filter.

What you guys think? Do they look ok?

I see them now my friend there scaring the shit out of me ha ha.
Tripping on my current fave Panama x Honduras ha ha.
The tobacco leaves will have added some interesting flavors and effects if you like tobacco not for me but others may dive right in.
The cure looks awesome regardless the dark cobs are always the most deeply lysergic ha ha.
Love your work brother say hello to Alice when you see her.

Thanks fellows. Loving this topic and the overall mentality you guys keep up.

I am already drooling to get to taste those little sweethearts. The scent is a bit on the ammoniac side, but already fading a bit. I took some to dry out and smoke in the next few days. Just couldn't wait for three months to take the "first bite".

I think i'm gonna let majority of these cobs to ferment for 4-6 months and then cure them for at least a year. Sounds good? The Ultimate looks like it is spingled with glitter, even though it doesnt show that in the picture. Beautiful sparkling when looked in proper lighting.

Usually i smoke weed that's been cured for (mimimum of 2)6-18 months. Big portion of my stash is actually at least 12 months old. I cure it in a cool and dark place so that at least in theory, most of terpenes and trichomes are still there. It sounds like a good logic to let the time do the decarboxylation when not in hurry to medicate, be it ISO extracted oil or just plain jar cured buds.

I grow tobacco, tomatos etc inside, i make mostly snuss (infused with our great medicine of course, and some chaga usually) from tobaccos, and thought i wrap it inside it for experiment, since i had several cobs to try. My one thought was that the tobacco ads a little more moisture plus a layer of insulation, and the nicotine content might kick off some bad bacteria/mold whatever, since nicotine is a great pesticide.

Also, nicely sweated and fermented organic tobacco is smooth, and in my humble opinion and experience, anything but the poison as we are lead to believe by the majority of extremely poisoned commercial tobacco. Once one switches to organic tobacco from the toxic poison sold as tobacco, the first months are odd, since the chemical lust fades away, and you are left with only the nicotine to bring pleasure.

I know of many people who smoked at least 5 cigarettes in the morning since they couldn't "get anything out of it" before their system was cleared of chemicals, and the neurotransmitter activity adjusts that the nicotine (without ammonia and other poisons to enhance the receptor activity of dopamine from the lungs) does not bring you the instant gratification from smoking. All my weed is also organic, grown in organic soil.

Sorry about off topic, non-toxic medicines and overall do-not-poison-yourself-mentality is just so strongly present in everything i do.

I have drooled over pics of your cobs, would love to try some. They look delicious.

Thanks bro, will do if she's not too overwhelming to speak.

I wonder if you guys have any experience over fermented CBD-strains? Painkiller XL is (according to data sheet) 50/50% split THC/CBD, having 9% of each. The high is very enjoyable, and kind of knocks you to your senses if you know what i mean.

I didn't like the alcohol tincture or MCT-oil infusion, they got me kind of grumpy sometimes, which was odd. I handle my self and do not let impulses control my behavior so no problem. But still, kind of odd. Anyone else experienced the same with any strain or solution?

Maybe just so good medicine that all the unconsciously suppressed emotions breaking free? The liver is a storage for suppressed emotions, and maybe the edible CBD with THC is just doing good work on clearing the liver via first pass and different metabolic pathways?

Hope you don't mind me throwing out all the theories and perhaps non-sense rumbling out here lol!
