thx DJ n MGJ that bonsia mum took forever to grow proper but she finially is her main stem and leaf stems are so dark purple they look plum color .

great except i was talked into something because its dry whaaaa whaaaaa whaaaaa lmao i have 2 oz left now. next round no talkn me into nothing lol. i really wish more ppl could experince this sugar shack this is a true 11 cause a 10 isnt good enough

little update things are going nicely i'll start with the outsiders the old mum 3 wks into flowering



3 clones i planted in ground thier 2wks into flower


heres the sugar shack bonsai mum still havent trimmed her yet


this 1 may be another bonsai she's a nice 1 has a growth shoot next to the ground


this 1 is next up in the batters cage she gose outside maybe next wk

now here's the 2 girls in the cab the stander 24 inch off soil 1 wk into flowering


the LST'd 18 inch off soil tied across the ground 1/2 inch off soil 1wk into flowering


here they are in the cab lighting is 12inch from plants tops temps 81-82, next tuesday night i buy another stanely blwoer fan to mad and exhaust the cab itself




i have 2 more clones in root now these have been planted w/in last 2 days this is the 1st sog set of 5 when 1 of the other 2 root lol. i'm gonna work my cab into a sog factory 20/1gal grow bags 5 placed in every 2 wks untill 20 clones are in





all in all things seem pretty smooth working on gettn a strain called mushroom
friend of mine has a plant in flower now he's gonna check for any worth while cuttings if not he'll tryn get me few seed well all for now puff puff passn

so i didnt know that you could still place plants outdoors and have them flower. thats pretty cool.
i also really like your sog idea.
i was thinking about doing the same thing in my cab. i could have up to 8 of my square pots in my cab at once. i also took some clones the other night and put them in the fridge for future use.

cant wait to see some more crazy flowering.

yes my current stanely is my air cooled hoods exhaust, i 1st tried to pull air from cab and hood but temps rose to 90deg unacceptable now thier 81-82 at 12 inch from plants tops.i pull air from out side of cab so another stanely should bring my temps down to where i want them house temps or below lol i know i expect alot for the desert but it's do able.ok looks like tomarrow i do my 1st local clone trade a long time friend of mine has a friend who has growen for 15yr hydro he has a good strain unsure of name yet but was told its stinky lol. so hopefully my trading coop has started also friend who loaned me the 400w hps i was using is growing mushroom strain its in flower but he thinks theres few good cuttings on the bottom if not his friend still has seed and will tryn n get me few. my goal is 4-6 different strains over the next yr to bonsai a mum of each this way my sog will be a full plate for the true conissour yeild isnt a factor as in taste high and appeal is lol

You'll be on top of the temps shortly with that 2nd blower. Sweet. Congrats on hookin up with another clone trader. I bet nationwide it's one of the thriving segments of the underground economy!

Hats off to you and everyone who keep a lot of strain moms. It can be a bit of work I'm aiming for 3 that I couldn't live without. After that a bit of variety here and there and I'll be in heaven. :smile:

quick little update all both girls inside cab are doing great but the 1' outside are fantastik. my previous dates on flowers where wrong before 3wk is really 2wk on the old mum. here's for sure 3wk flower on the old mum did a day count lmao






she's around 6month's old

thx fjällhöga im really begining to love this strain although i'll admit i ran to low of PH water through my inside girls the 1 LST'd started to have the ill effects of ph. so i flushed with water PH'd to 6.8 3 days ago and transplanted last night into 6 gal square pots, i noticed what seemed to be problem at begining of this wk. i'm pretty sure things will strighten out there only 1.5wk into flowering.


note for me and any1 else reading lol this run i started my inside girls on water PH'd to 6.0 all seemed fine until i droped it to 5.8 for flower guess thats to low for this strain. my last run ph was 6.5 during veg and 1 month of flower, then i droped ph 6.3 for last part of flower. so guess i'll drop back to 6.5 ph next watering keep it there untill last 3wk of flowering.

heres little eye candy from the mum all my clones have came from she was a seed planted this spring, she was 1st to sex also she is the 1 plant i bent the top over about 120degree when i placed scrogg screen over plants last run.

ok heres the 2 inside from this morning 1st up the LST'd remember pics of her during veg where fine and healthy looking @ a PH of 6.0. 1-1.5 wk of PH @ 5.8 during 1st wk of flower resulted in this



what i get for playing around to much with PH values
hopefully the transplant new soil both Fox Farm soils mixed and water PH'd @ 6.5 will bring her back around. i'll give her another week if she hasnt begun her rebound i'll place her out back off to the side.

here's the stander she didnt seem to have the PH problems the other has her problem seems light bleaching as she's tied off to the side her top is 6inch from glass on the hood. i can touch the glass w/back of hand n/p feels cool lol



she also was transplanted same night as the other1, hopefully i didnt damage this much if i did oky doky learned not that low of PH lol. i have 1 ready to flower now and 2 more will be in 2-3 wks. still havent done the trade oh well his loss, i was just reassured the other night that if i do loose the strain no worrys my nephew still has about 100 of the sugar shack seed left.
also in his stash is like 10 grape crush, 1 og kush, and few other vairous kind kind seed . maybe he'll let me grow half the grape crush out after all he's lookn for place right now to grow in heck i could have him a shack mum and grape mum when he is ready. i'll ask dosent hurt lol he likes what ive done so far with the shack so maybe till next wk puff puff passn from by my outside girls

Good update / info in those pics. This has happened to me after transplant, not every time but maybe every couple of grows. I use FFOF and FFLW mixed well, I'm starting to think maybe the soil mixes are not always uniform, or maybe my mixing is not all that . When it happens I water with pH 6 to a bit of runoff and then test pH and EC. Oftentime EC can be very high even with fresh transplanted mixes - north of EC 1.5 - and a good flush with 1-2x pot volume pHed water fixes it up. I think I'm going to start giving a hefty amount of water when I transplant to try to avoid this happening a few days to weeks later.

I like your plan re: your nephew - if I was him I'd do it!

yea i figured to play around to see what this strains tolerances are lol i've never had problems after a transplant. a transplant into good fresh soil has allways streightened out my problems in the past. when i mix the soil's together i mix for about an hour and then another 1/2 hr for the perlite, lol guess i need to upgrade my PH meter i have the basic Hanna 1 non water proof just dose the PH not PPM or EC. i'm sure the PH of 6.0 then droped to 5.8 was my down fall for this the plants where allready in that soil ohh 6-7 wk. im sure with my watering regiment the soils PH was through the floor by then 6.0 was sustaining the plants fine but 5.8 told me hey man lol. this strain seems to like PH 6.5 during veg and 1st half of flower then 6.3 last half of flower and thats where i'm heading back with them


oops heck mum outside been gettn water 6.0 PH since the last run ended and she's outside and seems fine. lol here's what i like { Strictly indoors, this strain can be manipulated for any grow room. ok here's my sugar shack 1st bonsai attempt mum and a clone from the ole mum out back flowering. they've been water PH 'd @ 6.0 PH


heres the old mum clone top view looks nice green healthy lighting 3inch above 1 45w=150@2900 lumen cfl i do believe she'll go into cab next few days to flower esp ifn the 1 LST'd dies

here's the bonsai mum top view she's under 1 each 25w=100w@1470 lumen daylight cfl 1 each 45w=150w@2900lumens cfl water PH'd @ 6.0


both bonsai and clone in 3gal pot sit next to each other the lighting overlaps so i have {<--45w---25w---45w---} 1 fixture has 2 bulbs in 1 has 1 i dont want 140w cfl on the bonsai lmao she wouldnt stay short and bonsai long then so looks to me ph @ 6.0 is bottom line for me any lower and problems arise for me on this strain and prolly any strain live n learn help and learn is why i like to hang out here thx Gypsy and every1 who admin's here for running 1 of the best places in the world to hang out

oky doky heres the last of the ole mum clones 1 is being groomed for another bonsai mum thier water has been 6.0 PH

notice the discoloration in the 1 leaf above that happened during the rooting process
heres my next sugar shack bonsai this time i'll do it by the tutorial she's allready been toped
the clones lighting started off 1 ea 45w cfl now they have the same 70w combo above them the bonsai mum has

hello DJ actually 1 day or night lol i was reading on the forums and ran across this artical http://www.icmag.com/ic/showthread.php?t=31919&highlight=bonsai and right away was very inspired by the whole idea and concept hopefully more ppl jump on this band wagon of bonsai mum. not japanese bonsai with wire training and such just bonsai with proper feeding and maitanance and lighting she can be kept short and
bushy for a very long time many years. this method also allows for the keeping many mums more then 1 strain of mum's in a smaller space then a regular sized mother plant. the 8in x 8in x 8in container she's in now is her home forever if she'll live that long lol, hats off to guerilla1018 for saving this tutorial from overgrow and special thx to OG member Oldtimer1 for being so kind as to take the time to write this little seceret down on overgrow to share with all to read and experince THX duder wherever you may be
