thx MGJ for the praise i'm a tryn lol i'm just trying to rush together a selection of strains guess i'll slow down. honestly because ive started another bonsai properly from the get go i just may transplant my current bonsai and flower her. ym current bonsai has never been topped she has only seen FIM process 3-4 times her height is 17 inchs hum decissions decissions lol.

as soon as the weather gets little cooler in my neck of the woods i'm going to start another strain. in the begining of this thread i mentioned i have very very old skunk genitics outta humboldt county no lie honest i'm gonna grow out the seed i have left. theres around 125-150 seed left my goal there is a hunt for the purple skunky pheno i had few yrs ago, i had 1 plant outside my side door enterance on side of my old house. she stunk soooo bad it filled my house when i kept the door open she was also smelled from the street approx distance 75ft thats the girl im hunting for. she had purple flowers stems and hues on the leaves she was a wicked girl i would like to have 1 like her back

Major - Props where props are due! I overdid it on the numbers myself this run and may end up with some as small mothers waiting in line for a spot in the flower cab... Perfect job for bonsai moms.

Fabulous that you have so much classic seed from Humboldt, sure you'll be able to find your purple stinker in there. From the sounds of it though, I better leave growing that strain to you - we barely have 10 feet between houses out here! She must smell like a funky indian restaurant!

thx MGJ and GCG yes that skunk girl i had few yrs ago was a bad stinker lol ya kew it was skunk bud growen and just 1 girl my wife found the seed stashed and threw handfull into ground begin nov 04. i day i said wth oky who threw my seed in ground wifey did lmao, had about 20 sprout 1 stood out from the rest so i pulled all but the 1. and i said hey tis november your prolly gonna die so lets see what happens, well she lasted all winter i even covered her few times for low temps. come about end of feb she sexed girl but i was haven problems with her. did a yahoo search on hemp lol found OG ICMag and few others seen OG's membership wow over 100k and i joined them. figured out my problem and pulled 1oz from her at harvest she grew up over winter under 12/12 and flowered in the spring. lmao i had to cover her during flower because sun was up longer then 12hr he he that was fun. the last house the neighbor on the side plant was on is a hells angel lol 1 on the other side was a single female drunk so all was peachy, yea i know duh duh duh growen next to a hells angel but hey we became friends so i didnt have to worry. had mormans living behind me also he he i say hey how yall doing hey blha blha how are you today he he and all the while she was a skunkn whoot, the hells angel did know about her he only smelled it all the time lmao.

i would like to add though when i found icmag and OG i considered icmag more of a breeders forum mainly because of the small seemed like tight knit membership wish i would have joined here back then also. but hey here now and love this place i spend hrs here just reading and admireing lol ahhhhhhhhhhhhh

right on shroomDr srry about the length but i dose kinda take ppl through step by step, any problems i had or have and how i correct them . yes that stanely blower fan is truely great very quite compared to my regular fans. as far as 400w hps in a cab if you can control temps your set there a 400w club thread http://www.icmag.com/ic/showthread.php?t=21967 theres some wicked setups in there. yes that nug shot was my nephew who gave me the seed holdn it.

ok quick update asked me nephew last night about the grape crush seed he said yes so just waitn for him to bring over. told him if i got 2 girls i would bonsai clones from them for us, he like that idea. he is gonna setup soon himself but he'll run 3-4 1k's on like 50 bucket dwc setup his guy is bringing him into his guys network. his guy will help him 1st 3 runs give him strain's of his choice then he produces. not really for me to big lol but none the less CANT wait to see it running whoot that should be truely wild, his guy wants him{nephew} to grow sensi star for production and few headies for himself{nephew} he he. of course me uncle lol gets a few choices l8r down the road to add to my personal hobbiest grow life is grand. bet by next spring if luck hold's on i'll have my 4 strain 20 clone SOG up and running heck 8 wks just to fill the cab with a 2wk spacing between strains 5 clones from each strain

wow maj. seems like things are going well for ya. that grape crush should be alot of fun.
with the setup i have now i cant even imagine using 4-1k lights with like 50 plants. that would be a full time job.
your sog plan sounds very nice. i would at some point like to do the same in my cab. just with a total of 8 plants.

lol no casey i wish he he i veg usen cfl's 280w worth and flower under a 400w hps, the last few run's was a borrowed very old but worked 400w hps. now i have brand spanking new mofo lol remote ballast 6 inch air cooled hood. i can touch the glass on new light if i want its not even warm the last light would start to burn back of hand about 10 inch away. you can pull nice yields from cfl's better even is the new very expensive T5 fluros and cfl's to light the sides unless you can afford to suround the plants with T5's.



little update the LST'd girl seems to have stoped gettn effected leaves from my stupid lol PH playn around argh the effected erea makes me wonder ifn i should just hack her now. honestly after i trimmed all the i mean really messed up leaves off, she's kinda empty most of the leaves except the top 2+ new nodes where effected. i'll know @ lights on weather or not she gets the hack allready placed another in to flower last night incase she gets hacked. oh well live n learn eh glad i have a mum for clones he he

BP yes i hope she pulls through also i LST'd her from 2wk in soil as a clone her main stem hugs the surface of the ground lol after watern i have to clear it out under it. i'll know if she gets wacked in 4hrs lol

GCG i just wanted to see the tolerances for PH on this strain found out lol i'll just run what i did last run 6.5 all of veg and 1st half of flower. then drop PH to 6.3 for remainder of flowern, i will soon as i can upgrade my ph meter its ok but i really should get the hanna thats water proof that read's PH,PPM,EC. PH is new game for me out side never worried about it but inside wow sure is a factor in the grow lol.

flamingo right on thx actually thats my what was gonna be mother that got 2 big lol in the container and 3 cuttings from her in the ground. everything im running now except 1 just placed in cab and bonsai mum are off her outside even few friends got cuttings.
funny thing about the mum outside i cut her back to half size and she still didnt fit into the 1time veg side of my cab container did n/p.

i really did know better just wanted to see, take notice of the lush green clone in the center. she had water PH'd to 6.0 her whole time in soil just done 6.5 ph last watering on her


here's the LDT'd plant last night i honestly cut half shopping bag of leaf off her and the 1 im haven doubts on this is wk 2 flower for her her water during veg was PH'd @ 6.0 had n/p droped to 5.8 and bam lights on 1 night and

this is the stander she dose seem to be ok is kinda light in color her top is close to the light so i tied her off to side some




all in all the LST'd will prolly be ok just yield hurt and is why im pondering on hackn her or not.

the lush green 1 i placed in last night in the middle and my bonsai mum where cutting taken 1st wk flower last run. right now the 2 larger in the cab are from mum outside in flower now the. the bonsai and 1 in center of cab where taken from another purple pheno i had 8 of the 10 in the cab had purple main stems and leaf stems 2 had purple green mixture.

honestly if both the 2 larger die i'll have 2 more ready in 2-3 wks have 2 right now ready for transplant from the current 3x3x3inch container they been in last 13 days. new bonsai mum stays in then 3x3's longer lol

Maj.PotHead how do you go about checking you ph?

i have a shot glass for booze lol {havent drank since sept 91} uh i have empty 1 gal water jugs i fill using my water filter spout. if this isnt a fert feeding i pour water from jug into shot glass till just pass the line i rinse my ph meter before i check shot glass. i insert ph meter into shot glass turn on ph meter and swirl just little and wait till reading stabilizes sec or 2. if this watering is a fert feed ing i fill jugs add fert to be used and shake the jugs to mix very well. then i repeate the above to check PH on each jug, my water's PH is high some days 7.2 - 7.6 other days 8.2 - 8.4 ph levels. i use mad farmer PH down to adjust my ph to the level desired if i run below this level i pour some water out. add fresh fro the filtered spout havent checked the PH in the runoff guess i'll do it tonight tis watering night

oh yea the hydro shop where i got my meter the young man is kind enough to calibrate it monthly free for me ^^^^^^^ oh chit did i just sound old lmao i'm 43 yrs young he he
