Maiden Destroyer

It was at this point i decided i wanted some real deal haze in my life so the next 2 grows where dedicated to all things haze ,,had some Thai in the mix also ..in the first grow,..i flowered them all out while removing and isolating the males ...then after a lot of smoking,...soul searching ...selecting... and re-vegging ...i decided on mad macs original haze as the haze pollen donors, mac's haze is a combination of 2 pure haze lines donated to him,..one by the very generous and selfless @JohnnyChicago and the other by the respected veteran @Golli ......they are ultimately from the same 'seedsman' seeds, but take down slightly different paths via selective inbreeding ....so the 8 males from the Mac/Johnny/Golli line went on to pollinate all my maiden destroyer keepers,Issac haze keepers, mango haze keepers, from the previous grow...and the ace haze keepers, Mango Thai keepers, from the haze hunt !...every @MadMac haze female was kept to do a repo (so impressed was i with the high).. as for the home grown fanta' haze .......it was a fantasy .. nothing but a 60/40 indica..great resin and scent .....but a DUD in terms of haze,..that's despite being advertised as a pure haze that podiumed at the cannabis cup 😮 .........why do seed banks do this ? .....i just don't understand

here are a few pics from the start of my Haze Hunt ....also shows how many vegging plants can fit in a very small space 2 trays of my keepers(maiden destroyer/isac haze/mango/ blueberry ect) and all the freshly popped haze seedlings ....the main tent was still full with all the plants pollenated by Dick the destroyer aka....Maiden Male

much love

@Raco delivers again :giggle:

Very interesting morphology on that particular pheno of Meao Thai....

this is another great example of Meao Thai in bloom..
i see so many similarities in both the shorter thicker phenos of Maiden Destroyer....and to some degree in the pearl/wheat phenos also...or as the much respected @elchischas calls them ''real deal destroyer shit'' :smoke:

This is also a great thread for the Meao Thai enthusiasts....the thread ponders a simple question
Is destroyer worth that much ??

much love

Today I'm going to share a few pics of my haze hunt coming to an end .. the best part of a year was spend on this project , and to be honest i kind of underestimated how monstrous they would get ..by the time the re-veg process was over there was no way i could control the height for pollination,... even in the small 10 liter pots

This project produced some of the most profound weed experiences i have ever had ... in particular haze and mango Thai hash made while de-seeding their buds ..they where extremely mature at the time of harvest and had been put back into veg so the seed could fully mature,... my small veg space was bursting at the seams with my maiden destroyer,Issac haze mango haze keepers and i needed the big tent

but wow ....i think it aged me by 10 years ...i truly went to the next dimension...i even had to take a 3 month break from smoking to recover my senses :ROFLMAO:

So be careful out there my friends

These pure sativas are nothing to play with :sasmokin:

Now with my haze itch well and truly scratched,... and even though i had plenty of seed in the fridge for you guys ,....i still wasn't satisfied with operation Maiden Destroyer,..see even though it looks like a packed tent the methods in which i grow and select mean your often dealing with what amounts to a long stem with not a whole lot of plant material...i especially wasn't happy with the amount of pearl/wheat pheno seeds..which as you can imagine ...don't really produce allot

so i took my time with this one , give them a decent amount of veg time,..and made sure i went heavy on pearls... so that hopefully 🤞 every pack of freebies contains at least a pearl pheno seed or 2

much love

Today i have a couple of pics of the pearl phenos taken at the same time as the last ones i posted....

Then a few pics from about 2 weeks later.....just so you can see how quickly the resin builds up once these pearl maidens get going.....i wish i could of taken more full detailed pheno specific pictures for you guys,. but everything is just so crammed in .......i had a dream once that i was growing outside in a lush open tropical valley.....maybe one day hey :giggle:

And this picture i picked out especially for our very own Meao Thai legend @Raco

This is one of the pearl maiden pots i had to take out of the tent to do some maintenance on... i had to stake and tie her up as she was starting to get floppy

But just check out her larger under leafs ?? ............i see her true Meao Thai colors shining through

And i don't want people to forget just how 'Wham Bam' my way of growing has been for operation Maiden Destroyer

I'm so looking forward to some real skilled growers getting their hands on these seeds and showing everyone what these Maidens are capable of

In terms of pure power, i would say the pearl/wheat phenos are the top dogs,.. so much so... i rarely partake o_O

But today i want to focus on my own personal favorites.... and the subtle differences between them,
Both are from the subgroup ''tall extremely thin leafs high resin and highly pungent scent''

one (already pictured on page 2) is extremely resinous with the most intense sweet scent that's hard to describe..almost like caramel mixed with the syrup from canned pears ,..the high is intense waves of giggly warmness than can become very overwhelming if you over do things

The other is the same morphology very tall super thin leafs, unless familiar with the 2 they look like the same plant ,... but this one is less resinous looks slightly greener ..the scent is super sweet but with a sourness to it ...like raspberry jam and sour cream mixed together almost ..high is clearer more energizing but still underpinned by that warmness on the back end

see if you can spot the difference :smoke:

It was at this point in the grow that the pearl maidens started developing a weight problem... a intervention was needed.... so with a bit of tough love and some string ..i manged to get them under control ,...having not flowered these Maiden Destroyers out large with ample veg time, i didn't realize just how productive they can be for a sativa

And lastly for today we will take a look at 2 different pearl phenos of Maiden Destroyer. The difference is subtle.... but it is there if you look closely at the morphology, both share the same amazing resin production and power ..tho one smells very slightly sweeter, they are both pretty neutral ..good for stealth grows there are 3 pearl phenos in total out of the 10 females

hey @StickyBandit

i would say 30%-40% male ratio on the ones i tested, i tested 20 of each of my favs (thin leaf stinkers) tested the pearls ...pearl phenos produce a healthy amount of males, and they looked identical to (dick the destroyer) .... those seedlings all got hit with original haze pollen ...and i also germ tested a big try of chaff after cleaning the seeds up just prior to sending them into https://www.realgorillaseeds.com/

i was surprised how many immature but viable seeds where hiding in there ....nature finds a way i guess

i think you should find a good few males to choose from .....that's why i like to give packs of 15 .. stack the odds in the growers favor :smoke:

ohh tom hill x maidens ? .............. i know tom would love that lol
