for anyone who cant see it,its a thread from the archived cannabiogen forum.....there is a picture of the exact same catalogue and mini disk case my maidens came in,....with charlie Garcia himself ...the main man ... the real deal ..... the originator,...clearly stating ,..in beautiful English i may add ..... that the seeds were produced in 2005 :smoke:

Just for the record:
In the Spring of 2004 I gave to Kaiki a re vegged male (with the original rootball) that I had selected from the first release.
Before that, I made several crosses with that male.Kaiki sampled the Venezolana (actually a colombian) x Destroyer and stated that It was one of the most potent herbs he had ever smoked lol
The leaf to the left on my avatar is from the mother.
He told me many years ago that my male was the father of the regular Destroyer seeds.

oh the plot thickens,.....what a tangled web the destroyer does weave 😀...seems its not just charlie we have to thank for this amazing seed line.. our very own @Raco is a legend of destroyer also

well id love you to check out my male when i post some pics @Raco ,..he has double serrated leaves ,i know that doesn't mean much really, but it could be a recognizable feature for you as the originator of the male

now for today we have some pics of the re-vegged original seedlings ...the male had been removed and isolated as soon as i got a positive identification and i dusted the 12 females with some blueberry pollen i had from an earlier grow seen as i was dusting the blueberry seedlings grown along side the destroyers, and that's something id advise anyone to do who is re-vegging,..you can get a nice little harvest of seeds while your plants are transitioning ...Those destroyer x blueberry seeds where actually sent in as freebies also. whether anyone actually got them or not I'm not sure

much love

thanks @exoticrobotic well it certainly was interesting, how the differing phenos produced such different seeds , and differing amount of seeds also, some of my fav phenos produce very little seed despite being drenched in pollen, and hey you may have a point, seeds morphology certainly could be a indication of a phenos leaning
Years ago, I read something Nevil said about his Hashplant seeds.

He said there were basically 2 seed sizes. One, was really, really big, and the other, very small. He said he would bring the big seeds out, to impress people, with their size. But he said, the smaller seeds, produced better plants.

well smaller seeds i identify with sativa...and very large seeds with indica ...how true that is i don't know..but if that info came from Nevil i'm sure its sound, and comes from his vast experience and observation 👌

now, let me talk about Dick ....

(please do excuse my childish sense of humour)

In all seriousness i just want to share a few of my thoughts and observations about the 1 and only maiden male to come from these 20 year old seeds

IMO the male falls loosely into the subgroup of (pear/wheat/thai)

the leafs are a deep green and almost waxy ... something i correlate with Thai

the growth characteristics are very pearl pheno like, the male grows very tall with very large internode spacing and starts to bend and flop over itself as it matures, something the pearl phenos do also if not tied up

and the continuity of the offspring ....seems to breed true to type

in these pics, a few weeks later than the last ones i posted, when the maiden male had done his job and spent his pollen you see what i mean about the growth characteristics

first a wide shot (notice how tall the pearls are relative to the others)

then just a close up of the male from the same shot

in the larger tent pictured being pollinated by the maiden male, where all the sativa keepers from the big 300+ seed run..... maiden destroyer,Issac haze, mango haze ect

in my other smaller tent i had the blueberry keepers from the same 300+ seed run, but they where being pollinated by blueberry pollen i had in the freezer from the earlier grow (same pollen i used on the maiden re-vegs)

when all the pollinating had been done, and the maiden male was removed and killed ,....( and after several extremely thorough spray downs with water i may add)......i moved these blueberry keepers into the main flowering tent

as i needed to make way for the next load of seeds to be germinated
