holy crap-im bumpin my own thread. i have neglected this thread for far too long. i know some other peeps have gotten thier hands on this cut by now. i have seen pics of her on other threads- love to see some pics of others' madness grows posted here! anyone? anyone? lol

Man this plant looks awesome those hairs are crazy...always enjoyed this thread posted under another name...but your right sub I wish we had more people growing this out for some different pics and impressions :smoke: the yield looks killer as does teh smoke...is the smoke more on the commercial side? when I first saw this thread I thought a lot more would follow....have you crossed her? she looks like a perfect breeding specimen...

doco-glad to hear you liked her! she is a unique and special strain. glad your up and running again. and safe. the sour bubble sounds awesome, im waiting for some of grape puch's crosses to come out on the bay as we speak! just so ya know, APE has her back now, i gave it to him again a couple weeks ago.
--kinderfeld-this plant is a def. workhorse. she is not the strongest smoke i have, but she is strong enough! i would consider her a commercial strain in the yield dept. without question. as far as the smoke goes, she is not at an 'elite' level, but then again, most arent. everyone who loves her, loves her for the all around package. smell, taste, high, and yield. i have a number of 'elite' strains in my garden, and i have let a number of these go away for one reason or another, but i have been runnin her solid since i got her. there is a circle of people here in san diego who have been smoking this strain for years and years. it wasnt a huge circle, as the original grower kept her pretty tight, but he did grow quite alot of it. one of these smokers is the one who passed it on to me when the original guy retired and moved east.
--i will be crossing her soon. i have some skunk ibl males, will have some cindy 99 males shortly, and a bro is hookin me some pollen from a(flo x mtf) x maple leaf indica ( i think thats how it went) male specifically to cross with madness. should be super dank.....sub
EDIT: the pollen mentioned above is actually FLO x (MTF x MAPLE LEAF INDICA)

Whatever

Had to post here cause don't have an active username in this thread...lol. Been awhile since I've seen this thread. Wherever you're gettin that pollen from it sounds like a killer combo with Madness and heard the MTF in that cross was actually a real deal Matanuska Valley Thunderfuck alpha pheno clone only cut. There should be some absolutely KILLER phenos come out of that cross, especially in the F2 generation if ya ever make beans from the F1's.

It's also hard to go wrong with a C99 male...basically just need to cull the weak ones and all should be good....one of the nice things about IBL's. Skunk is another solid breeder but a friend has said passes along some dominant traits whereas C99 is more transparent.

Anyway...

I think she's gonna be a good one. Cool to see ya do some Madness crosses. Play around enough with some different pollen and the strains you have and for sure gonna strike gold. Hopefully that pollen will take :chin:

LOL...I still remember the first time I saw a close up flowering pic of her...I was instantly in love . I think that Blueberry on the Madness could really rock! In a year or so if you keep chucking pollen you're gonna have a hell of a bean collection. Some great building blocks in your stable and amongst your friends.

Hey Sub - my last grow convinced me to keep the Madness after all - only had three Madness in a garden of 18 but it stood several inches above the rest with much better yield as well. Wish Id taken some pics but didn't think I was keeping her. She sure packs on the weight!! Looks like she'll have a spot in my stable for awhile.
