Okay guys I guess it's safe to wrap up the sugar/hormone/hermie thing and call it a myth..thanks to the organic terrorizers for busting myths once again..

Hey UFS! Hows it going fella? Sounds like a good plan even tho I cant offer you any advice as I got no experience with raised beds but I am very interested in what people have got to say as I defo want to incorporate them int my garden when I move house.
its a little different gardening someplace with only 9 inches of rainfall a year, its really difficult to keep a compost pile going when it might not rain for a couple months at a time,i have a barrel composter now but the yard simply doesnt produce very much to compost at this point, nothing but bermuda grass and desert weeds...

TO x BMR Bx1...typical female, they all have this frost level despite flower size from various phenotypes. Again,no-till ROLS,no ph'ing,no flushing,no blood,no mammalian bone,no hydro store bottled anything except a bit of Pro-tekt before the Agsil-16 bulk potassium silicate order, one 2 inch layer of a hot unfinished compost(ooops..a bit of tip burn for a second),no 'veganics',water only except for Coots seed juice teas and a fish/kelp combo in mid-flower. Done enough for me @ 55 days~

Yeah that guy is a moron. The best thing a about this thread and learning all the basics is it allows you to smell out a bullshit explanation with no documentation right away. In the beginning we listen to everyone.... Now we filter everything through our BS meters first.

What type of BS meter do you guys use? I've got the CannaBS Snifter-7GB...not bad for the 'space age' model, but it doesn't detect 'em all.

I'm pretty lucky on the composting thing, I have a very large variety of iingredients, ranging from straw, fall leaves, well composed woodchips, horse manure, cow manure, chicken manure, comfrey, stinging nettles, bamboo leaves,grass,dandelions,Fruit/veg/teabags,rockdusts and LAB comost teas have also been added..

Beautiful mate, how much of a noticable difference you have from the enzyme tea? i just started soaking some more seeds for my next watering after tonights one:
1 tsp alfalfa
1 tsp mung beans
1 tsp broccolli
1 tsp of cannabis seeds( from an auto breeding project from couple year ago) got loads so wont miss a small amount.

On another note I bought a couple of those pump atomiser sprayers so much better than a normal sprayer you squeeze to spray, fuckers always got blocked..

It's like Coot says, increased resin profile, especially from the aroma side of things. Increased cellular division means faster veg times, which was something I wasn't prepared for. The explosive growth quickly overtook less vigorous types and cuttings. I used the Tibetan purple barley tea in nearly every watering. I used regular common barley twice and sunflower seeds (of all things) once.

It was clear that this cycle was completely different...the no-till pots just loved that seed tea. Happy big ass healthy plants with lots of buds.

I don't know, I think the 7GB version was overhyped. It wasn't much more of an upgrade than the 5GB and the battery doesn't last as long. I think you got hosed, amigo.

I use the iSniff Nanonano with the OS X Mountain Shite version 3.0.

I swear its faster than all my friends and the screen seems bigger too but I can't find any actual information to support either of those claims. But the guy at the store said its the best selling phone he had so I figure everyone else can't be wrong.

I'm getting the fastest and healthiest growth from any of my grows from seed, the first couple of weeks is always slow anyway while the root system develop but fuck me it is like nothing ive ever seen before organic rocks i think seedling stage is crucial to get right and if you make just a little error with the chem nutes and burn ya plants its stunted and grow slows to a standstill, who ever thought of this stupid idea to let ya plants choose what and when to eat must have been mad heh?

That's really awesome. Glad that you mentioned faster veg times. :dance013:

CC that Tibetan purple barley, do you source it locally? Would that be something a brew shop would need to special order. I was looking in the threads but I didn't see a source.

Seedlings, rooted cuttings - Aloe vera extract

Salicylic acid, IAA, enzymes, amino acids (22 for this discussion), etc. This will give you explosive root growth.

Gas & I started using this over 2 years ago and it's been proven across a huge range of strains and different plants like Mints, Tomatoes, Peppers, etc. - aloe vera is the deal.

Gascanastan gave me a big ol' bag of it and after a couple of runs I went on the big hunt because it isn't available locally. Gascanastan found it at an organic food co-op up north in the Emerald City.

I found an organic farmer in Idaho that grows several artisan grains through the OSU Extension Service.

Yupp always gotta work on better sensing and detecting bs every time someone else offers info. or services weather it be from doctors, mechanics, lawyers, snake oil salesman ect. I heard the next iPhone will come equipped with a bullshitometer app for consumers convenience but that's probably just bs...

Yep I've been using it in everything since you advised me about the benefits of aloe..

Things i've bought since going organic.. Worms, neem meal, kelp meal, crab meal, chicken manure pellets, alfalfa meal, potassium silicate, aloe, coconuts, various seeds for teas, organic cocoa shells for mulch and aeration ...All of which are giving me the best grow to date and i'm only just 2 weeks in...

I've made a worm farm, build a compost pile,Made my own LAB, sourced local forest duff, collected various nutrient accumulators, rented an allotment.. Everything is just starting to coming together after all these years only problem I have with organics is that I didn't start sooner..

I owe a lot of that to Lumperdawgs/Jerry/Gascan and Cootz and a few others :)

Most of the questions this thread has brought to mind I've answered for myself by the rereading and researching I've done to keep me from looking too stoopid before asking. Here's one I need some learned opinions on...

For some years I've been moving towards waist high gardening (gravity IS getting stronger) outdoors in my vegetable garden.I have 10 fiberglass containers 4ft. in dia.& about 18" deep that hold about 100 gal.The soil is very rich in very decomposed organic matter, pretty much pure humus.Over the last few years I've been lazy and morally lax and used blue water and even sprayed with Sevin a few times. Now that I've been brought back to the light I plan to empty out the soil and remix based on Gascan's &Cootz's soil recipes. My question is:should I use my existing soil as a base or replace it entirely because I've poisoned it with salts & pesticide (though not what you'd call heavily)?

Good question. I'd personally give it to a chemi-soil guy...or consider it toxic if pesticides were incorporated. I would not use it....however you could research the pesticides involved and determine the breakdown time and toxic properties and make a call based on that....maybe.

Just watered the little ones with my enzyme tea.. 1tsp alfalfa seeds 1tsp alfalfa meal 1tsp of kelp meal per liter and a half.. bubbled it for about 30 hours... juiced a couple aloe leaves and added some coconut water...and potassium silicate and recommended dose... Looking forward to seeing them in the morning! :p
