Man, I'd love a taste of that.
Unfortunaly the Female G13 Haze I have does not like to produce seed...and of the tiny amount of seed that I've taken from the G/haze....not as productive plants as the parents.

My last G/haze cross, which I have not explored yet was
G/Haze x NL#5 Haze...about 10-20 seeds..it's like that every time no matter what father I use.
This is Reeferman's Airborne G13 x Original Haze from 2007.

The F1's of my experimentation didn't match the productivity of either parent. The G/Haze x BMR had flowers that looked like Ghaze flowers, but the inside was pink and had a fruit like smell...all that came in contact w/it loved it. Girls love pink colored pot..what up w/that? Some ended up in a dispenz and people wanted more.....I had to say sorry folks,if the plants don't perform to my specs as a grower, they lose.

DP x BMR - definite citrus flavor. Not lemon. Not orange. Not lime. Citrus - hard to describe but very nice without that f*cking 'berry' crap that dominates the Oregon landscape.

"Get over it!" - LMAO

Yes..citrus....old sativa type of thing going on there. Hard to describe..

DJ's Blueberry is a dominant force in most of the BMR phenotypes...as well as the Bubblegum. It's that BOG Bubblegum structure I'm after...it's very productive.

DP x BMR exhibits some BB color and part of that sweet smell in the bag..but the saving grace was the African dancing into the mix.

The girls really like the berry tasting stuff also...I don't mind some of the ones w/that taste, but they better have legs or they are outta there...I seldom even attempt messing w/anything that someone gave me that has 'Blueberry' in it...I burned through those phenotypes years ago....beautiful stuff, just over it.

That same old BB in the mix....ugh....after 20 years you just want out....thank our tribal peoples of the Earth for the landraces they have kept.

Isn't the above too thick???

Yes to the extent that I would not take a pound of AgSil and mix it with the correct water amount and store it. Mixing it in smaller batches seems to be a better way to go perhaps.

By mixing 8 oz. (water) at a time, that fits nicely into a condiment dispenser - easy to measure out and easy to shake and remix before using.

This is not a good product if one wanted to mix and sell a liquid silica bottled product which tells me something about the 'liquid silica' products from Alibaba and TradeKey that are available under several brands.

Actually it tells me a whole lot to the extent that I may want to drop the amount for the final application - maybe go with 2 tsp. vs. 1 tablespoon (Pro-TeKt concentration).

Thanks coot once again! I'm assuming the worms eating there own poo thing is a myth and not too worried about it anymore.

There are no shortcuts to producing premium vermicompost - figure at least 8 months or so. You have to dip your toe into the water at some point so sooner is better than later.

Try of find the guys selling worms - not worm castings. Commercial vermicompost operations are not there to produce 'da kind' castings. They are set-up to reduce biomass - a noble goal and endeavor. But they're never going to be what you and I are looking for - a fool's errand.

The worm guys however make 'bank' on selling worms - especially fishing worms. The price per pound for fishing worms vs. Red Wigglers for worm bins is insane. These guys look at the vermicompost as a by-product so take advantage of that.

The best places to buy worm castings are those that tell you to bring your own bucket. Our local 'worm guy' sells 5 gallons for around $11.00 and these castings would take a newbie at least a year to get to that level.

Patience wins out - find the best humus sources that you can and use that and put your self-sufficient program into action.

Because of the lower weight ratio(SiO2:K2O) of the agsil 16H (1.6) compared to the protekt (2.6), it is more alkaline. Which may account for the slick feeling.

Protekt is diluted agsil 25 as far as I can tell.

The specific gravity of the Agsil 16H solution at 147.7 grams per liter comes to about 1.1 compared to the protekt at 1.2.

I have just checked Craigslist for my area and there is one guy selling leftover red wrigglers and another guy selling the bsf grubs so I will see what's up with the red wiggler guy but he doesn't seem like a big time worm breeder..

I think ima call around the fisherman shops and see if they're willing to sell there leftover garbage from breeding worms lol..

I realize producing castings is going to take quite awhile on the scale I'm aiming for after making a really small worm bin experiment with just two 3 gallon pots stacked up and a good sized rock holding the top pot up to drain

I added a layer of cardboard on the bottom followed by more shredded up cardboard, some failed leaf mold attempt stuff, dry leaves and some rinds from melons and black banana peels, this bin was just to boost the population of worms to add to my future "real" bin and by now I thought I would have a little bit of castings to use...wrong

I got the worms from digging a hole in my backyard a day after it rained..

Oh yeah...forgot about the G/Haze x PPP...that was the most productive cross. There are some very trippy satty phenotypes in the PPP....combined w/the Haze I can only imagine....those did look good bro~

maybe go with 2 tsp. vs. 1 tablespoon (Pro-TeKt concentration).

t'was what I was thinking. Why not just mix even smaller more dilute batches and see how it works. Sometimes I wonder about %ages marked on labels.

Yeah thanks it just looks kinda weird to me, hey gas when you do a big pheno hunt or male/female search do you give em all the luxurious foliars and topdressing ,extras or just the necessary stuff I was wondering what should be the appropriate way to determine phenos from others without getting mixed up from effects of teas and stuff..?

MM

Yes and something else that is different is that when I spilled some of the mix and rubbed it between my fingers it was like an oil. A lubricant or something close. I have some Pro-TeKt on hand so I did the same test and it wasn't even close. That could be from my mishandling the product. A gallon lasts me for almost 18 months and I'm sure that there were times when I was measuring some out into a smaller container that I didn't do the best job of shaking it around so that isn't much of a legitimate comparison.

That one really surprised me - very slick feeling.

CC

I've done this with Pro Tekt - almost slightly gummy even out a fresh bottle

I'm of the (I think pretty small) school of thought that says treat seedlings harshly - I don't like finicky bitches no matter how good they look or nice they smell

Hahaha put em through hell huh incredibowl, what do you do just toss them outside and see which ones survive? I want to do some mango hazes and was wondering what would be the necessary amendments to give the plant everything it needs to show its specific traits, trace elements, macro, micro nutrients etc. all that. Kelp meal, neem meal, crab meal, alfalfa, compost and ewc are definitely on the list not sure if these altogether will be okay for picky sativas that get that curl thing goin on..

Not sure if this makes any sense..?
