CC's, What are you aerating?
rrog

De-chlorinating water is 90% of its use and the other is to bounce the pieces of kelp & neem meal around in water for that application.

Overkill to be sure but for the raised beds being able to get 50 gallons of water ready in a few minutes is pretty nice.

I use a 80 lpi pump for 5 gallon buckets and a 200 lpi for 50 gallon barrels.

Yep - me too and I'm on snow-melt for our water source through a treaty going back to 1860's. We're not on PDX water at all - just the Clackamas River

Stoked!

Voted on Amendment 64 in Colorado Today.

Also went on a shopping spree:

$50.00 = 5 Gallon bucket brimming with Fresh Earth Worm Castings and live worms with eggs...

FREE = 20 Gallons of Local Fresh Non-Manure Compost (Non Chemical Grass Trimmings, Leafs etc)

Big bag of Vermiculite

Big Bag of Coco Chunks

Some Awesome top soil from my buddies organic veggie garden

Pro-Tekt Silica (not sure on the spelling)

2 Boxes of Alfafa Meal and 2 Boxes of Kelp Meal

2 Bails of Alaskan Peatmoss

and now it's time to go online and order the rest of the goodies.

Not to mention this photo after Aloe Vera Foliar....

have you ever seen the "boss hog" ? its a micro pore airstone, they really make a froth of fine bubbles, pricey and you need a good sized pump to drive them properly...

Interesting...looks like they have their sights set on this certain demographic...which for me is always a sign of caution considering the other products designed for cannabis hobby gardeners.

Could be a good product...

i think they are actually from the salt water reef tank folks,it wasnt until recently that hydrofarm (boo, hiss!) started carrying them...( actually as far as equipment goes hydrofarm has an excellent record with me,both for the quality of the gear, and them absolutely standing behind their products)

and yes, they do work super well, dont clog very easy, they are durable and clean easily, and dont shatter if you drop them...

Oregon 80 looks like it will fail as expected. A lot of concern by this initiative's mandating a 'commission' that would oversee legal cannabis.

Oregon voter turnout hit 72% this year which is a pretty amazing number.

it'll be amusing to see what the new gov of Wa plans to do with this. he said he'll stand behind the will of the people. strong words indeed, i guess we'll find out. even though 502 is a weak ass pile of paperwork.

Here's a bright spot for our friends in Washington - since a huge number of Oregonians already cross the mighty Columbia River to buy fireworks, perhaps a 'cross-merchandising' deal could be set-up to sell cannabis as well!

Get a couple of packs of firecrackers, a bag of cherry bombs and an ounce of Washington's finest herb.

Think big!

Legal herb in Washington~

Kind of a free for all at the moment.....yet so strange that I can just answer the door and allow a pillow of smoke to waft straight into the nostrils of any random roving swine.....and be holding the bong without worry.

So if you fly from Denver to Seattle you can carry an ounce???

To what point has Colorado legalized?

Are you familiar with out med system? See a doc, pay a fee, grow your own (3/3), or go to a dispensary. Possess 2 ounces.

Now: Skip doc, grow your own (3/3), or go to a retail store. Possess 2 ounces.

And I am leaving this great state for the opposite situation in about 10 days.

Wow... The thing that's too bad about this whole situation is that it's so very different in every state.

Try doing anything even vaguely close in the non-medical states.

It's a shame, really. Hopefully, as you stated, it's a sign that the times are changing.

I read for Colorado the first retail store will not open until 2014. In the meantime I'm assuming its a go for anyone to grow a few plants of their own? How is one to legally obtain seeds and cuts in the meantime, key word here is legally lol.

Waiting for Feds response, since obama has vowed to fight the ruling or some such madness
