Cool pics Vapor, that is certainly a frosty plant! I'm afraid it will be tough to find firm males on the offspring of those selfed seeds, they should have all female genes.

After watching your pics, now I'm 100% sure that this is the compact Angolese pheno between my "Angola X Meao Thai" females:

picture.php

The structure of the bud and the calyxes are just like ACE's mum used in the 2008 Angola Thai hybrid and selfed to be given back to Rainha G as well in pure form, so the similarities with your plants are pretty understandable. I hope my thai phenos will be nice too anyway!

A friend of mine is reproducing now another different liamba strain that I got from a guy who went to work to Angola, although it looks more "sativa". Hopefully there will be some pics in the next months.

Peace.

Very nice the bud you post reminds me of the # 13 pheno i have. She is smaller in veg and in flower, for me she stretches like mofo if i give her room in her pot. In the coming week or so i will post full plant pictures of the 4 pheno i have. I am wondering what would happen if i made a few seeds from the male sac i have growing, if there would be a chance of males, all the seed i have made is from nanners{end of flower} not a male sac. thanks for the pics lovely buds! much thanks to rainha for sharing with me been having a blast growing these planties i feel honored.

This is a seeds that was made by a liamba nanner at end of flower in my congolese cutting, See what we see but she stinks big time on the stem rubs. You can see a few donors came up on the bottom of the plant they are the same seeds, i will take cutts of them when they show sex and chop and grow out, leaving the original plant to flower by her self.

These are the seedling from the original liamba moms that had nanner at the end of flower, most of all of them are females, Wanted to see how they turned out. A few of them put out male parts{one sac} if stressed{tight roots} then will go back to female when they start growing again lol

This next run{start of week 6 of flower} of liamba's{13 mom} is from seeds that came from the nanners at end of flower just a few seeds. It seems to be doing what the mothers did from seed the first time and unlike the clones they have that kick in terms of vigor during flower{did not have the best run from clone last run, live and learn}. I think i will just keep a few of the moms and grow this one from seed{need a male} and dial the clones in as we go. The last picture is a congolese X angola red{nanner pollen} just for fun and oo boy she is smelling so nice. All of the Congolese crosses i have try'd thus far have not turned out any where as good as the original clone we have. But this one i am thinking she might be a good combo. Much like the lemon boot polish of the congo with a little something extra on the end looking forward peace

Looking frosty... how many weeks are you chopping them normally? Most people in Spain are finishing this Angolese LMN at 10 weeks, leaves and compact structure leads many of us to think they probably have been hybridised like this "Congo X White Widow" , which has a very similar structure which seems to be signature from the breeder's selections, the buds look almost from the same strain and this is a 10 weeker too with a great fruity smell and energetic effect:

White Congo:

On the other hand, with the help of other passionate friends we are reproducing two original liamba strains brought by a worker straight from north Angola. So far you can see true african structure and tropical behaviour. Flowering around from 16 weeks and onwards until almost 5 months, close in flowering times to the Ghana strain sold by CBG, so definitely untamed and legit liamba strains. First ones came from Caxito village, very close to Luanda city. Tiny calyxes and beautiful burgundy stems:

Your Congo X Angola sounds nice by the way.

Vibes.:tiphat:

Me i have 4 pheno from the original seed. Some look not so desirable till later in flower i could see if you did not let them go you might not think they are any good, There is a big tall stretchy pheno that popped up in the original seed. .... I will be growing this strain for some time to come she deserves some work and i think she will shine in crosses. Time will tell, needs a male got some more seed to sift
