Randy California, it is my understanding that Liamba is Angola Roja specifically. Are you not misleading folks by posting pics of the Verde and calling them Liamba?

Musta are you sure what you have is Angola Verde X Meao? I hear that was the Roja from a very reliable source. Peace GS

sorry, not trying to mislead anybody. It is my own ignorance that had me calling the Verde Liamba.
I was under the impression that Liamba was a word for Herb in Angola.

Hey guys sorry for the misunderstanding... I don't think Randy was misleading as Alex himself used to call Liambas to the angolese lines he had. It's how the line was known in Spain for a long time although it could be misleading actually as "liamba" is certainly a common name for weed in Angola and even Madeira or Azores islands, just like the Zamal is for Reunion Islands or Ganja around the India. It's also known as "bula" in Angola. There are some other liamba lines around for sure, I received the past year seeds from a guy who travelled to Angola and in the portuguese forums i've seen many guys growing other liambas and bulas, not only the ones from LMN...

Afaik, Green Angolese were just separate phenos bred as separate lines from the same original Liambas aka Angola Roja seed line received by Alex from his angolese friend, who sadly died later in the guerrilla when he went back to Angola to gather more seeds. But I guess it's like when we said Green Pakistan Chitral or Green Panama, while they aren't separate landraces, we diferenciate the phenos like that, because in fact, green ones are more potent and have a different flavour. This was a recurring topic lately.

The original Angola Red/Liambas were reproduced by the way 1-2 years ago in Spain, from an original batch of seeds from LMN so they are now spread around the country more than ever. As for the hybrid, If the pheno was originally green or red I can't assure it now but it was a selected cut from ACE for sure. Some people talk about angola green x thai, others angola red x thai but there's only one Angolese X Thai hybrid made years ago. I may ask the guy who did all those Meao Thai crosses with Kaiki's male for ACE for more details to satisfy our curiosity.

AngolaThai F1 was a mistake by us as should have stayed in private but for different reasons some were put in the market. Is a cross between best La Mano Negra Alex (rip) Angola selected by Dubi and a Meao Thai dad from my side.

Angola liamba are Mano Negra's work. After talk with rainha ginga, we decided not to gift more angolese hybrid seeds. Rainha has the pure angolese genetics and crosses reproduced a few years ago by our collective.

Amazing fluffy buds... gotta love them! I hope nobody will mind some pics from my Angola Thai hybrid babies, they are growing like crazy and I've found 2 very distinctive phenos so far:

This one, compact with fat leaves and thick stems.

This other, heavy branching and slender leaves, I love it! Maybe a Meao That expression? I dunno but I can't wait to burn them!

im from portugal my father was in africa in angol mozambic guin grew liamba call it in 60s in the end of the war angola sat was the best psycadelic wild sativas grew everywhere places with no water bush like 4 mt high long flower.here only saw mozamb. hyb never pure he came back with mozamb sat my father died 3 y ago said he never saw sat like ang sat now even the ones from africa arent pure if he had started seedbank i would be rich never minding t money genetics would survived after portuguese left afr. a 20 yr civil war and drug market destroyed sat, are all mixed maroc south afr. so they give more bud real sat arent product, quality i never smoked haze i smoked mozamb sat with my father best weed ever after that was only crappy normal highs mozamb high no paranoia i started laughing like crazy, everything seemed slowing down then the sun got really big, seemed green people were all smilling to me i was walking on cotton balls felt like a road opened ahead showing the way to truth or somewhere real especialexperience but not scary or racy everything seemed beuthyful i felt connected with everyone after 3 hours camedown sleeped a relaxing sleep and kept on dreamy state for 2 days...i already smoked weed and hash for years wasnt new thing and wasnt no acid, it was from the weed it was really good exciting and creative inside and very psycadelic but calm and relaxing---

Here is an Angola Red male, actually red, red stems, sepals and petioles. The female I grew was green with slight red traits in the petioles.

Well I am 100% positive it is and I gave 100 beans of the preservation project to RG via a friend. These were made from F2s and I have some F1s from Alex via another friend for another run in the future. The females I got so far only exhibited red petioles and pistils and the this one male was gorgeous. I pollinated a Oaxacan as well and a Metal Haze.
