So I received 2 clones, 1 being Deathstar and 1 being Deathstar Gas. My friend got the clones directly from Deathstar Crew. They said the Gas was a sister of Deathstar from the original breeding project. Anyone ever have the DS Gas? I was told it leans even more towards the diesel side.
Never heard of one called DS Gas, but I do know there was several cuts but the two primary ones that were given out were the original Deathstar (ECSD x Sensi Star) and a DeathStar BX ECSD (DeathStar x ECSD)... the BX never really had a name back in the day, and also caused alot of fights over what the original was between different crews... it definitely leans more towards the Sour D but I'm not a big fan of it, always seemed less potent, it's definitely slightly more diesely but I prefer the original personally (as long as it's the real Ohio cut, there's been alot of imitations and bagseed grows people have tried to pass off as the original).
At one point they had a bunch of crosses DumpStar (Dumpster x Sensi Star), HuckleStar (Huckleberry x Sensi Star), BubbleStar (Indiana Bubblegum x Sensi Star) and one or two others.. The DumpStar and BubbleStar were two of my personal favorites but I wasn't able to track those down and last thing I knew the guys didn't have em anymore. It's been years since I've seen any of the crosses but I do know that the DS BX ECSD is still around and commonly mistaken as the original, run it and see.. If it's more Sativa dominant in it's characteristics are more fuely and less spicy, than toe-jam-fuel-funk than it's probably the BX. The original has alot closer internodes and it's kinked in every possible direction, looks like a zig-zag pattern, the BX has some of that but is much less kinky, but equally stinky...
