I use light placement to get her to stretch. Place the light up high and she will reach for it. Then clean out the middle and she puts nice buds at the tips.

I love using deathstar in vert. Heavy yield and vigorous growth. This makes it one of my favorite for vert.

And yeah ECSD is a total pain in the ass for vert. Total nightmare to train to a screen. Way to much stretch.

It's my opinion that deathstar does best at around 60 days, everyone I know that likes the strain knows her by the intensity of effect, I've found that cutting later chills it out too much and kinda takes away what sets her apart from most cuts. That being said I can't handle her at 60 days and find a more comfortable buzz when cut later

I agree with sb on the harvest date. I like around 63. Ive gone to 70, n it swells up huge, but the strong skunk aroma is dulled, and the head high is less.

So far ive taken it at 75 and 70. Both were pretty similar, skunk/new shoe, hashy insense type exotic aroma n flavor. the trichs were still pretty clear.. This rip we pulled at 63.. Ill let u guys know how it goes..

I've noticed this the past 2 runs I couldn't get her down until late 68-70 the smell completly changes and the high is like xannax for me chills me the fuck out

Yup I prefer the late cut down high, but from a purely objective standpoint I think it's not as good. Way less intense, way more subtle and a little boring. 60 day deathstar is like a non-visual acid trip, intense, frantic, and heart pounding.

Never taken DStar earlier than 70...longest at 84. She packs on the weight late in the cycle. It's only hit 3rd gear at 60. It is by far my largest yeilder..but you have to let her go full term. It puts people down...great heavy indica narcotic effect.

crazy. all my people like it better at 65 or so. but it could well be grower error on my part.

Trust me bro...let it go 11 weeks...it will lay peeps down and have em coming back for more. I usually put a disclaimer on it...only to be used as a day-ender. If you do to much during the day...you WILL be taking a nap
