Its not a true auto but its called Auto Affie or Auto Afghani etc..... it'll stay in veg on 22 or more hrs and anything less flower.

I agree with MR.Meds very interesteing.
The plants have taken off now and they are less then 6 inches from the light and I was getting some leaf curl and for awhile I was thinking it was to much " N ". But after reading some other threads on LED's and seeing they had the same issues and from they figured out was the plants are to close to the light and when backed off they did not curl so much.
So I went ahead and moved the shelf down 6 inches to give some of the plants a distance of 12 inches and a couple are 14 inches. But they are a couple days younger and I am sure are going to catch up to the others.
I am also bubbling a batch of the mild tea using the Black Gold F&F ICC talks about.

Hey sah how far did you have the light before you moved it?? I have mine 3 inches from the plants. no curling yet. Plants love it.
They were 6 inches or less....
I dunno as I am out of answers on the leaf curl.

If you would have asked a week - ten days ago maybe not so much. I am slow to change as was really getting bummed about the how they were droopy and just didn't seem happy.
But now that I have a better hand on the watering and after the transplanting they are taking off and I am starting to feel better about this grow.
These lights are not cheap and even though the vendor doesn't pay the same for them they still gave me $1300 worth of lights. So that is some weight on my shoulders then you have MD's new release coupled with that.
Ask me this again when it is time to harvest to see if I would buy them if I had the money to spend.

I think it is the LED Panel that is making the leaf curl, Also I get deformed leafs at times before. I would think since yours are a little more powerful, they are suppose to be I think 6-12"s from the plant, I maybe wrong. I thought I read that somewhere.

yeah my panel covers 2x4 it says. and its only 45 watts
yea and my ufo is suppossed to cover 3 by 3 not!

No way to tell at the moment since this is the first time he grew this specific generation. (nothing to compare to)
Cyber is right and also I have never grown with 250w lights to know what they can do. I pretty much use a 400w in the same space so that is what I am judging this grow by.
Plus with three 250w lights thats 750w's instead of 378w's from 3 units and less heat.
