If there's a lot of White Pistils it's a good indication it's not ready. I use this as the 1st indication it's not ready. 95% of everything I grow needs 70 days. Haze or Haze outcrosses are always popping new pistils. These need to be looked at much closer but not gonna be done until 90-120+ days.

Here is Mango Haze x C5 x Mango Haze.. Almost 90 days.. She still has too many white pistils for me to even start checking her trics.

how can you possibly tell that without microscoping the bud???

It's obvious that they are nowhere near ripe. I don't need a microscope to tell me that and neither should you

I used to smoke some amazing mango haze in Amsterdam. Where did you get this cross from? are there any shorter flowering phenos?

In general it just looks underripe to me as well, but yeah would need to check trich heads to be sure. Its also a preference thing, maybe he likes a zippy high vs sedation. Some strains are finished looking like the above photos but ime not many.

I was about to post the same as @Crooked8 it is personal preference and there is definitely a large window when it comes to when you can chop but I'd definitely like to see more swelling and pistils dying back on hybrid plants

Those were made by Donald Mallard. He is a MOD here. This one is the 1st female. Im looking for males. I got 2 males in this run but not to my liking. I'll run more seeds when space opens.

OJD has a competition running, for heavy flower plants. Many of you will of voted. It might be interesting to look back at that thread to see what lighting was used over the plants you and others voted for. A blind test, of what you voted for, yourself.

I liked 4 or 5 posts, before realising what I was doing. Though the morphology differences are little more than that, it's quite striking how different LED and HID plants grow

Looks like you chopped way too early

Will post under scope picture...maybe it is..8 week usually I harvest 9 weeks.
But it have taste,high and everything...
Also they were all the time in very high temps and high amount of moving air with lots of CO2.

In this envirmoment plants will grow faster.
By my expirience.

My buds rarley look like modern Cali buds cuz I use small amount of P compared to them.
My plants at harvest always look done...low N...etc.

Its mostly milky and clear I see few browns.
Mybe one week for more stony high but far away from way to early...

Its rare these days to se calyx on buds...maybe thats why it look to you un ripe.
PK PGR growers generation.

Brown spots on edges and dark leathery leafs at harvest... that is what you want.
Who cares about terps we will buy them and sprey tham on buds.

This is the top of your bud from yesterday's picture. It's a long way to be done. This has nothing to do with PGRs or buds not having calyxes like you say, that just sounds like a huge cope. If you had to chop for an emergency or whatever then ok, but pretending this plant is mature is just fantasy.

I have grown this cutting 4 times now under HIDs and its my first run with it under leds...
And you call me for early harvest ?
I said I chopped it at week 8 what is problem with that ?
This weekend I plan to chop and this picture is before week or so.
Will post harvest picture so you can tell by yourself is it ready.
Can also put some under scope pictures.

Under scope trichomes tell me its ready smell and taste high also...Its your opinion man based on few pictures I have my senses and expireince I can say its ready.
For me its good...

Clear = C
Milky = M

i see mostly Milky than Clear and just few Browns.
Why is this way to early ?????

Maybe just led board dont produce massive buds.
I used only organics nutrients and water.
Maybe bit under feeded...etc...
Its easy to tell under light that clear like glass or that milky that look like plastic.

But explain me why is this not ready to harvest and its to early.
