LED and BUD QUALITY

Out of entire light you have how much % you got IR there.
I will try now with 12% to se how it change final product compared to visible light only.

SUN IS 50/50 In future I plan to make mini grow one sog plant with small board that is like that 50/50 visible light IR diodes.
Just to see how it works.

Im in searching of % of IR that will give more SC compounds that are on hps or outdoor buds level.
Why do you wanna use leds for IR, you can get IR and +660nm reds just using any incandescent. I doubt Led would be able to beat incandescent on IR output. Ive been thinking long and hard about halogen spots.

just harvesting my 2nd run with a mars fce8000 in a 5x5ft tent- the light is at about 70pct of power. growing various seeds ranging from rez's sdkush, double strawberry diesel, karma's headbanger and tha melon, some purple punch and runtz muffin and a ace panama... my observations is that the buds are way smaller then my previous grows under 2 315 cmh's . i dont really give a shit about size (thank god my wife doesn't care either..) , but quality... i wasn't overly impressed last grow with the final product, but growing under led is a learning curve , and i think i did better this time caring for the plant needs... we will see after a few week cure...

There's breeders and then theres pollen chuckers, they shouldn't ever to mixed up its insulting to breeders, I'm obviously a breeder.

I've even got the bible, I mean how more qualified can one be?

Lmao ffs don't take me seriously I've never pollinated a plant, I bought the bible for guidance on selfing that didn't get past buying the ingredients and a bible 😂

Still didnt make final tought about what it Will be like but goal is that total amount of light spectrum is made out of 50% IR.
Will take advice in account when I start to make it.

Id be really really careful re adding that much IR; or at least have it on a dimmer. Fair enough that you have loads in sunlight but you also have a ton more blue and uv to counteract it.
Unmitigated IR is stretch and fluffy buds
If using incandescent youll end up filling the spectrum not only with IR but also hard to find with led reds (680-700nm).
I think greyfader added about 10% incandescent light which looked and yielded pretty well.

I've been doing an NL IBL for many decades now and I feel just like Nevil did, if you're not working with at least a thousand plants, you can't really say you're a _breeder_. I always get a chuckle out of people looking for a "pheno" in a 10 plant tent. That's one of the reasons why I never use the term breeder. I consider myself a cannabis developer.

Seedmaker, pollen chucker, seed slinger, they all represent the same thing to me... hacks, doing it just to make money.

A week or so ago I started a thread titled, "Show Your Studs" and posted this pic:

Creeperspark was the only one who responded, so that should tell you how many "breeders" we have here on IC. ;)
great picture! we see few photos of fully-developed male plants.

I have popped 2000, vegged 100, flowered 50 males and 50 females before.

I considered that the maximum one could manage single handed.
Much respect if you ultimately took 50 females to harvest all by yourself! That had to have been physically exhausting, indoors or outside, even if you're not a old fucker like me. Caring for 20-30 kicks my ass these days.

I'm starting to have trouble with a 5x5, I'm making the change to autopots to cut back on maintenance.

Old injuries from karting and moto x are making things tough going.

There's too much ducking, weaving, leaning and twisting in my tent it's killing me daily.

You are disrespectful, you must do it subconsciously.
Nah, you just think I'm personal with you, but I couldn't care less about people who claim, well, nothing ?
You should be aware of a couple of other things while I'm at it...

Evolution is real.
3 words with nothing behind them.
Photobleaching is real, and not caused by heat.
Right...
My initial response to you was that people do care where their corn comes from that goes into their whisky.
Who are those people ?
I drink with a lot of people, never heard they care how someone is making their whisky, they usually care if it taste right and goes smooth, maybe those people you talk about are on the secret aswell and they like you like to keep it to themselves idk
Just because you can't get your head around something doesn't mean that it's not true.

Sorry bro I give up on you and moving on in my life, you don't say a lot, and even in the small bits you do say, nothing new under the sun.
I guess it's a big secret, oh well.
I'll be here if you ever wanna discuss why we need males, I'm all ears.

Mate, you've been here for what, a month? You have absolutely no credentials or experience that any of us can see. You pop into threads pretending to know everything and start arguments with people for seemingly no reason, you're nothing but a fool with an internet account, pull your head in a bit and perhaps you'll learn something from the posters in this thread, many of whom have been involved with and contributed significantly to the cannabis community for decades.

Males are necessary to the diversification and continuing evolution of cannabis, people care about where and how the hops are grown that go into their beer, people care about how the corn that goes into their whisky is processed and grown. Your opinions and experiences are not supreme, their just your opinions ad experiences.

There are other threads with much bigger and tastier billy goats, jog on to them, your not even on topic in this thread.

Quality to me is the effect or high, nothing else. I am not breeding hemp or autos or fem's they can not compete. A real breeder of quality can do it over and over, producing ever better generations and not having to rely on elite cuts to do it. A lot of the breeders everyone admire's are one hit wonders who slowly fade where are there new strains? Why can they not repeat there previous success's? If I give out a cut I do'nt care how you grow it or what it looks like, if it gets resin before it dies it will be quality. Without properly vetted males breeding quality is doomed just look around it is happening all ready. I do not care what light you use, if you grow you'll get a thumbs up from me.
