it was broke off about mid way in the stalk. yea its really weird the only reason the Dela wasnt touched is bc its only been in flower 8 days. im gonna dig it up tomorrow morning and move it,me and dad dug one up 2 years ago and transplanted it but it wasnt in flower yet. i would rahter take a chance on moving it and it dieing then to just leave it and let them get it. sounds like some dumbass hardup teenage kid that dont know what real flowers look like

The top half was nowhere to be found, I presume? Did you look around? Sounds like maybe a bear decided to fuck it up. Breaking off the top half of the plant at the stalk seems like a weird way to rip a plant.

I agree that if it was a ripper, they may go searching for the Delahaze.

nah its defo a ripper,ya they will be searching i know that! im pretty sure its this nosy as neighbor that lives nextdoor to me..hes a pill head/needle junkie and anything he can do to make a dime he will do it..it just shows me how dumb he is about doing it..he should have waited and took the dela lol thats why im for sure moving it! i will chop the rest before i let someone make any money off my back. i got another spot that i scouted earlier this year just in case and growing how we grow it there is always a chance it will get found..especially since i live in a small town and sale a little to make money to buy good supplys with each year, but thats the cost of business..i know this risk before the year even started..im sure it wont be the last time i have some that gets found..im just glad it was the smallest plant i had this year...i will not let some theif detour me and my passion..i will go to great lengths to do what i gotta do if that means riding my 4wheeler 5 or 6 miles in the mountains i will... i still have the 4 sinfle plants out all in different locations, organic plot, plot 5,plot 4 and plot 2 but plot 2 is kinda close so im moving the biddy and church from there as well..i will just chop the sweet purple and trash it..

Have you ever moved an in-ground plant before? The shock has to be traumatic.

I'm with you on moving it, I've just never seen it done. Lemme know how it goes.

Got kinda lucky, I'd say, still have the others in the area. I know you love your dellhaze. Thats so mean, people rip plants like that. I've stumbled on a huge 8 footer before, and I didn't dare touch it.

Should transplant just fine, theres still time left. What you need is a sunny spot. Lots of power. Just make sure to dig a good size hole I'd say at least 3 feet diameter if possible. Fertilize heavy with phosphorous to promote root growth and flowering. Smoke fatty, repeat. :smoke:

I agree. A few years ago I was on the way to a plot where I had some seedlings out (not in the ground yet, in plastic cups; this was before I started putting germinated seeds directly into their final holes) and I stumbled across a plant that was fenced off and, at the end of May, maybe early June, was about 4' tall and 3' wide. Somebody had that bitch under a lamp for a MINUTE... I walked on by and ended up not using that plot. Figured it might bring me good karma.

ya the spot im gonna move it to will be even more sun then this one and i will have access to water very close. the water source is coming from deep in the mountain out of a cave that i was planning on prepping this spot for next year but i will have to do it fast this year and then cover up the dirt i dig out with leaves and such. the last hole i think was close to 10 gallon this one will be at least 30 gallon hole. im making it a monster hole with direct sun from 930am till it goes down at 8pm. there is alot of junkies and meth heads here in my area so they take anything if they think they can make a dime..thats just the way it is and i know how it is before the season even starts. its one the reasons i make so many plots and also single plants that way i have alot better chance. i learned my lesson years ago about putting all the eggs in 1 basket and lost it all. so its been 7 years since the last ripper that got me and he got me really good lol this rip here isnt gonna even get no bud! as u can see is post #488 that plant was 4 weeks minimum away to get a enjoyable buzz..what was that we was talking about yesterday lol another lesson learned for me bc this one was close to my house so was easy to access,so that wont be happening no more. im just thankful they didnt touch the Dela, and took the 5 gram wet Immature bud

If your neighbor is a junkie and the plot that was ripped is near your house & easily accessible, maybe he's watching you out his window head off into the woods with water & shit.

yea i been thinking about that as well bc i have went in the evening. that is over though i will be leaving here at 6am from here on out to head to plot 4,5 organic and the 4 singles. im not gonna take no chance at plot 2 since it was a couple hundred yards from plot 1 and im gonna trans plant the biddy early there which is huge and the church. there is a sweet purple there as well but its never really took off so i will most likely just chop it and be done with it.

Ky bro, very sorry to hear that you have gotten ripped. I had someone messing around my plot a couple years ago but thankfully, they never found mine. It was well hidden, but smelled fucking strong everywhere in the area. I just got lucky that year and they next year I lost that spot to LEO.

We have that same problem around here as well, meth/pill head junkies, breaking there own bones just to get a script. There is maybe one percent if even that around here that wouldn't rip a plant if found. Over this fall and winter if I were you i'd definitely find me some new spots man a good ways away from those. I know it sucks, but you gotta do what you gotta do. I had to start all over this year but now, i'm set for next year (so far) nothing found but one small plot by LEOs in the pot chopper earlier this year.

I have a short story to tell you about a canna thief around here. A few years ago I knew a guy that kept getting his crop stolen, a big patch. The next year he spread it out, still got hit. So the next year after that he spread his crop out in a different location and got by, BUT he put a patch there as well to, just put the plants in and let it do its thing after spreading some triple 20 on it. Well, he was setting dope head up. He put a trail cam on the patch, and sure enough the thief come around about mid septmeber to take seedy bud and all lol. He was on camera with very good identification details. He was right about who he thought it was and he had another dope head friend with him also captured on camera.

Here is the catch: The old guy printed pics off of the dudes stealing it, (a neighboring county, this didn't happen in my county) while they were closed and put it in a brown envelope and dropped it off at the sheriff department outside the door in the mail slot. Wrote a letter saying he wanted to remain anonymous but he found these guys growin and harvesting on his farm. Needless to say, not sure what happened with it, but I bet they didn't steal anyone else's crop!

ya bro i already been out scouting this year. plot 1-2 is done for i will never plant on this side of the hill again. i was a bit skeptical to use these this year just bc i had noticed activity there bc i found a water bottle hanging on a tree limb about 200 yards from plot 1 but since i had used it before i put only 1 dela in there and the new biddy. my biggest and best plots is #5 and the organic plot. i have been growing in these for years and they are not even close to plot 1 or 2. if i can get buy with plot 5 and the organic plot im golden still. i got a monster Incredible Bulk going as well which is a single plant plot. i agree with u about people around here being less then 1% that wont take it. i know they will and always have which is why i do so many plots and singles. its alot more work but it brings my chances up alot to be able to get a nice harvest in. plot 1-2 is about 500 yards from my house which was easy to go to and water. i always been skittish about plot 2 but got by with it there for 2-3 years. i dont know for sure if they even found plot 2 which is about a 150 yards away from 1 on the other side of the hill but im gonna count it as lost anyways. i only put 1 biddy,1 sweet purple and 1 church there. i have never put one my top shelf strains out at that spot for a reason. im gonna move the biddy from plot 2 bc its huge. i went and dug 2 holes this morning at a new temp spot that im gonna move the dela and biddy to. i transplanted one 2 years ago that had was about 2 weeks away from flower so idk how this one will work out but its better then just letting it die or chopping it without even trying to move it. its no big deal though the type of growing that we have to do its always a possibility that someone including LEO will get lucky and find some. they only gotta be lucky 1 time we gotta be lucky 5 months of the year:dueling:

yea, I hate thiefs...

ya i hate them to brother! they are the scum of the earth, but i do not want to bring heat to myself or what to injure anyone bc that would just make it 100% sure that i would never get to grow again bc the police would be so hot on my ass it wouldnt be funny, especially in this small town where i live.. My luck they would call the law if they cant get it so i must just spread my plants out farther away and start doing more single plot plants. plot 5 and the organic plot im pretty confident about since i been using these well over 7 years, but at the same time they are subject to getting found. its just part of the game of cat and mouse that we have to play right now until my dumbass state leaders get their head out their ass. ive never had nothing come to me easy in my life so when i got into this guerilla growing 10 years i always exspected it to be a hard, but the thing is with this i have got more passion about it. i use to see this as work but now i dont and i enjoy watching them grow, using different grow nutrients, different strains and different ways of training the ladies to grow

Sorry about your loss KY.
F-ing rippers and junkies. Wish you the best with the transplants. Just try and keep as large as possible root ball. What ever you can handle moving. And if possible do it on a cloudy day with rain on the way. Transplanting into a sunny spot on a hot day = major stress.
For next year go deep into the bush. It will make your style of growing a lot harder. But it sounds like most of your plots are close to your house and convenient enough that you can go everyday. Not only does this leave easy to follow trails, but if it's easy for you it's easy for the junkies. I would love going to see my girls everyday, but I actually dread going to the plots because it's a nightmare getting there. I'm sore for day's after the hike to them. And that's after an 2 hr drive.
Anyway I hope you the best with the transplants and the rest of your season.
Peace GG
