What's regalia, aloe? How do u apply them?

u can apply both as folair or root drench i use both. Aloe has Salycilic Acid in it which is the compound that will induce SAR..regalia is a extract of the knott weed which also will induce SAR. check out the link and read on the regalia. everone that i have spoke to that used regalia has not had to deal with bud rot. i can tell one thing my plants are alot more healthy this year then they have ever been before, but i can translate that directly to aloe, regalia or frass bc i changed alot shit this year from soil to complete nutrients.

Regalia is one of the things I'm buying for next year. $72 a gallon is steep!

i agree it is steep but i look at it like this,if it saves just 1 plant from bud rot then it will have repaid me many times over and the cost of 1 plant lost to mold will be alot more then 72$.. i hate bud rot! especially after the year i had last year i wanted to be prepaired for this year

is it a gallon of concentrate or is it like a gallon of spray?

a gallon of concentrate,im using it right now at 15ml folair and 15ml drench and so far im seeing great results in terms of growth and health of the plant with a couple additives like aloe and frass. i got 500ml of bud factor x in that im gonna use starting at week 4 which also has chitosan,so i figured i use what frass i have left watering it into the soil and use the BFX as folair. i think this 1 gallon will last me a couple years at least with the rates im using it

I'm trying to prevent bud rot by foliar spraying cal, mag, silica, and potassium. Gives the plants luxury levels of nutrients. Trying this for the first time.

I'm trying to procure an organic source of chitosan locally but not having any luck. I don't think using Tylenol is organic.

One plant varietal I have is acting weird so I want to activate its sar.

What kind of aloe? Would a place like Walgreen's have some?

I would love to prevent bud rot!

You can order the aloe that you need here:

Insect frass is the most immediate form of chitosan (chitin) that you will find. You can buy it relatively cheaply off of amazon.

i dont know why anyone would use a tylenol in their grows? there is nothing in tylenol that a plant can use that im aware of. i got my aloe from the same link that shakiraloba posted to u. dont order the frass from there though bc ebay has the cheapest deal. u will see increased vigor with the use of aloe nearly overnight, but the best combo is using both chitosan and aloe together. i hate bud rot as well! it wiped me out last year..

Think it's worth it to get regalia this late in the game? Idk how much longer I'm gonna be spraying, Greencure can burn buds.

i cant really comment on how well it will protect against bud rot bro yet,so i dont want to say yes and then it not work. i have spoke to several people on this fourm and t.h.c farmer and all have said that since they started using Regalia they have not have a issue with mold. i burnt my plant last year with greencure bc i found out about greencure around 15th of sept when i found silverbacks thread about it. i was freaking out so bad i used the max strenght bc i had done lost 5 plants to mold and everthing else was showing signs of mold. it did stop the mold but burnt the hairs and made it alot less appealing. im gonna do what silverback said in that thread this year im gonna spray with 1/2 strenght before i get mold and before the buds close over the stems and that should be enuff to get me through. i will be able to let u know though after this season how effective the regalia is bc if it works here in this humid climate it will be a miracle

It's not Tylenol that people use it's aspirin. One uncoated aspirin/gallon water as a folair spray. Induces that S.A.R thingy your always talking about. It's really cheap and effective. I've used it for all kinds of plants in the garden. I don't know if it qualifies as organic but it only costs pennies to treat your plants.
cheers GG

If your worried about bud rot, I would also look into getting some BT for caterpillars. Many people do not understand why they get rot, but I will tell you that bud worms cause about 80% of it for a fact. There isn't many insecticides effective for caterpillars that are safe to use other than BT. Get some. Use it.

I second that, during flower I spray nothing else but Aloe, BT and a product called Botrybel, which is a 100% organic fermentation with Bacillus Velezensis, supposedly helps with resistance to botrytis as well as promoting vegetative & root growth and improving soil microbiology. I used it for the first time last year and got good results but it was a good weather year here, so we'll see if I get the same results this year. One problem - I'm so busy that it's hard to find the time to do the foliar sprays properly this year. With 30+ plants, I need to set aside a whole afternoon and I'm gonna end up like popeye from pumping that sprayer so much! Peace.

And here's some Bangi Haze for ya Kyg, this was about a week ago, tin of a popular brand of carbonated drink is in there for scale. I really need to start my outdoor thread before the season's over!

Kyg, plants are looking awesome bro! I'm going to test the Aloe plant foliar spray on a couple plants here and see what happens from fresh plant stalks, just the gel. Will post back here. Hopefully it is like the aspirin technique but wholly organic.

Fresh aloe leaves, blended with clean water and sprayed within 20 minutes for foliar ....if I know you Kyg, you can you'll add it this year or next If it helps.... Keep on keeping on brother!

ya i knew aspirin thing and i do have a 100 count bottle but it threw me off when he said tylenol. i still have some aloe that is alot better for folair then the crushed up aspirin bc it sticks to the leaves better and also when used as drench is a wetting agent to the peatmoss. i do use the aspirin to drench my plants at my non organic sites and use aloe as folair. thanks for dropping in!

i will say that i have seen people get great results using the aloe plant gel. alot of reports i have read they use it as a cloning gel with great results. i already use aloe and i been thinking about buying me a plant but really didnt want to go thur all the trouble of grinding it up lol i would just rather buy 1 oz of the powder bc its only 19$ and i still have a half of a bag left of the one i bought before season started. i did just buy 500ml of bud factor x though which has chitosan in it for SAR. im gonna use it during weeks 4-6 and see how well it works.
