Hehe well i gave it some thought, and being a cautious kooki, i thought what if i dont end up with any viable seeds to play with?.. so take a clone off the clone, try and if i fail then i still got option (as long as i keep the clone veggin) to try again? maybe too cautious huh? One thing i want to see is how the growth at the nodes turns out on these. Maybe they just go bi foliate on those branches from the tri branch or like the original start with 2 then go to 3.. this is all quite new and exciting to a novice grower, so tryin not to take things for granted and being cautious

Well as for clones failing, i dunno honestly lol . I try not to let things get too much of a worry, and keep fingers crossed that original will be ok kept vegging. Cuttings/clones is something ive done before so more at ease with, but actually getting beans , timing them right etc, and doing it so i wont pollinate everything i havent done so is more on my mind to get right
Im pretty sure i read on threads the pollen released is only viable under lights n such for a few days, so is why i think having a seperate tempory area to do the business under for a week, then pop the pollenated one back into the flower room. If needs be i can of course remove the veg mom clone to a diff location to be looked after( i have a WW and DG mom doing that at moment)
Im in that thinking of it stage , wanting to be sure of the plan to follow. Thanks for making me think tho, and want to try something new, after all thats how we learn

Ok so a looksee today shows the DG in flower to be male, some clustering starting , so that gives me the proper space to get the DG in veg thats confirmed fem in there.. i shall put it in when the flower room reaches its week mark, bout wed/thurs. That will give me 3 weeks spacing in time on the plants , K2 at 6 T44 at 3 and the DG at week 0.
The confirmed BB i have left can be repotted to a bigger pot that i use for flowering room, and be trained better to fill it with roots and foliage .
So i shall have space in veg again.. i have the cutting still rooting, and may take the branch from the DG , not sure yet, but still have space to start something.. And i do want to try the purple power from female seeds.. may just get one soaking n crackin its tap root out soon, no need to start two with these as 99.9% fem eh ?
So, its so far so good.
shall get the pic updates when veg hits it weekly mark and the flower room hits it a day after till then, keep it green.

hya core, thanks for stopping by and for your encouragement, its much appreciated.
Today is my veg update day, got to take some pics etc yet, so shall update this later with them, but just for a general ramble shall tell about my mishaps
Well first i repotted the BB the other day, and in a rush to go places at same time, i rushed too much, n to cut the story short, ended up losing 20% of the roots, it looked a little sad n wilty for a few days, im hoping its gonna come back around tho... next mishap was at the same time.. in a rush , bit miffed at self for damaging roots and i stood on my ph tester.. crack... so time to go get a new one.. another mishap or error of judgement.. i trashed the male DG.. now not so bad of course but i cldve taken a cut to root, for later seed making, would prefer maybe a tri male to use on the tri cuts but no male means i gotta grow some find one etc,so a little error there too you live and learn , and as i keep sayin in here..... i aint gonna worry about it

Ok so heres pics, First is Blueberry at 5weeks, this i held back in smaller pot for a while, and i damaged roots on transplant, lookin a little sad n droopy lets hope its gonna pick up again



Then we have the DoubleGum at 6 weeks , going into the flower cab later on, still quite short and compact(not as compact as the T44 tho), the training is doing ok tho, and will be stringing some more n tying it down some before i put into 12/12, training it throughout the stretch period of course ...

And a follow up on the cuts taken.. Took the branch from the DG and have that in water etc , waiting to root, the other from the Top44 has grown roots and has been put into a pot with a humidity cover for a while... lets get this plant growing eh


I have also popped one of the Female seeds Purple Power into a glass to soak/crack/show its tap , and will plant once it has and get that vegging.. the info found out about this is veg for 8 weeks ( mmm we shall see) and that it is unreliable indoors ((mmm shall see )) but im willing to give it a go anyhow

Thanks core, i did feel stupid having made the mistakes but nothing that cant be fixed.. got a new ph tester and can always plant more seed, already have infact . A purple power seed cracked and has been put into the veg room in a pot..
So onto the flower cab update.
First of all.. the DG has been tied down and put into the flower cab, ya have seen that yesterday so will get onto the Top44 now, which has reached its 3 week mark .



And here is a close shot(crappy shakey hand i got ) of two of the budsites, chose these two for comparison, as they are both ones that are similar developed in size etc, but one is the tri branch and one normal.. trying to give these the same conditions, placement to light ,air circulation etc etc to compare at the end of flowering.

The Top44 really is a compact small plant, but has starting budding nicely i think. Next time i grow this i will go for more of them and use numbers for yield, as this one is contained in the footprint of the pots size, the K2 on the other hand overspills its pots footprint lots, so numbers for yield next grow on the T44..
And onto that K2 this has got to the 6week mark. and is still slowly developing those budsites. The pics dont show clear the trichome build up, but its definitely building up. Interestingly some of the more built up trich areas are on the more shaded budsites and some tho small, are lookin frosty

ah so you have a t44 female, nice. yeah they are compact plants, I actually had one pheno with nearly zero stretch. finished flower the same size it started flowering, basically. produced fat nuggets, although under a foot, it yielded around 1.5 ounces with a 3 week veg (under 360w HPS, shared with 3 others, so it technically only used 120w). I noticed they put on flowers and weight much earlier than some strains, but still take about 7-8wks to finish. If I were you, and had the lighting/space for it, I would LST them more. don't let the stems grow upwards, always tie them so they are horizontal. you will definitely increase yield, but don't wait too long to do so.

Good to see you stop by again. Indeed i have the T44 pretty much layed out flat, and the 3 week of Flower has made it go from pic 1 to pic 2, basically its filled out its a pot a little but thats about it,very little stretch really. very short compact and indeed it started hairing up after week n half, and by 3 on its way. Just using Cfls so might not get as dense as the Hps u used would, but still hoping it gets some nice buds. Those buds looks great, they are from the plant that showed purps colours? as they look to be

Ok so a minor update to my diary .
The Purple power has broke the surface , quick to crack its shell in the glass and quick to reach for the sun this one. Arent they cute when they little




And a better shot of the T44 tri clone i took, without the humidity dome its doing ok now so far things seem ok for the blueberry, not much growth but seems to be a little more perky this evening, so hoping its ok.

Update time, veg first a day later than 6 weeks mark for the Blueberry... This seems ok now, after its initial slowing from the root mishap its perked up n now being trained , and starting to pick up growth again.. phew




Next a week early of its 1 week mark is the Purple Power, next to it is a mutant White Widow , thats just odd, screwy up leaves , gonna grow to just watch if it straightens out or stays a freaky plant

First is the Doublegum after its first week, training the stretch time




Next at week4 is the Top44, still compact its starting to get crystally,tho the pics dont do those justice sigh...



And last the K2 at 7 week, this is frosting nicely too, still small buds.. but plenty of them (only under a 125w envirolite remember ) so im happy enough





Hope to be upgrading the lighting in my cab soon to a hps.. got a cool tube ,some ducting, waiting for an inline fan to be delivered and a mate to pop round with his old hps (he upgrading) so things will be a changing (oooh)
