KA5H #2 clone end of Day 73. Day 8 of flush.

I thought she would be ready Day 70 but was still seeing quite a few clear trichs.

Going by these pics I think she might be ready tomorrow or the next day, Day 74 or 75, even though my magnifying glass is still displaying non-cloudy trichs in numbers.

Anyone care to offer an opinion ? I'd be glad to hear it.

Peace to all.

I chopped mine down when there was a few amber trichomes visible around 75 days on one plant and after a month of curing in cob form they are a pretty nice smoke.

Thanks for the reply 😊

I'm not a fan of amber trichs in usual circumstances. There are some here and there on this plant but most have been present for some time now and I'm putting them down to a minor PH issue, nute imbalance or similar grower's mistake a couple of weeks ago. They haven't increased in number over the past week and a half so I have been ignoring them, basically.

I will check her again closely on Day 74 but I'm thinking Day 75 will be when I begin to chop her down ... unless I receive good advice to the contrary.

Peace

In my mind a KillerA5 plant should take 13+ weeks and yours looks like it, so wait until day 90 at least.
The buds will change color to silver-ish, fans will start drying.
This is the peak harvest time imo.

Check out my KillerA5 at 107 days

The harvest window of your plant is basically already open, it mostly depends on how "strong" you want it.
Maybe take a small bud, fast dry and test smoke it before chopping, so you get the idea.
Keep us updated, the buds look really nice.

Cheers

Wuddup haze heads !
I wanted to give you an update after a good 4 months of curing.

The buds have a musky, leathery and incencey aroma. Raw tobacco undertones also. Sweet fruity/ashy taste on the exhale.

The effects improved with curing, in the head and the body. It's the kind of weed that hits you in the face and the body like OG Kush but it is way more cerebral and thought provoking. It also lasts longer and doesn't put you to sleep right away so you can enjoy the high much more. This pheno is potent but not edgy or anxious like Malawi can be. Great for listening good music, chilling and watching movies.

Smoke it or bake it for full effects. If you vaporize and are looking for the deep / in your face high, make sure to use high temps. Lower temps are also nice if you want a strong cerebral high but it won't be as complex nor long lasting.

Happy growing ✌️
