This morning I trimed up my 2 KA5H plants after 5 days of drying and put into 7 cobs.

Day 38 of flip. Clones of my KA5H #2 seed mother documented recenly in the thread.

The mother was veged well past sexual maturity (59 days) and the clones have been flowering on the exact same schedule as her.

Except for an anomaly I have never previously encountered. The flowers on a single, major arterial branch on one individual clone have been 4-5 days ahead of the rest of the grow from the start of flip. The pic below illustrates the difference between those buds and ones in the pic at the top of this post.

Peace and goodwill to all in these pages.

My light is at max height. I have been having an issue with too much light/higher temps at the very top of branches for about a fortnight. This plant will stretch for the lamp early in flower even when receiving maximum requirements.

Six days ago on Day 33 of flip I dropped the power on my lamp to 75%, which is still 40mol a day @ 1ft below the lamp, in the middle of the fixture. There are 3 clones with equal quantity of growth in the core area and most of the top grow has continued to stretch.

Anyway, Day 39 and it has become apparent that the tops are not going to recover from damage incurred when the lamp was too close @ 100%. So I've cut the top 2 to 5 inches off affected branches. The canopy is now fairly even @ 1 foot, or slightly more below the lamp at 75% and it should be putting out around 900-930 umol/s in the middle of the footprint

I'm hoping the remaining buds go on to swell up like the mother did around the same stage of flowering, the harvest will still be above average if they do.

These tops are super sticky:

Day 40 of flower and it is clear that the switch from coco bloom nutes (used in previous grows) to Canna Coco at the flip has been a big mistake.

Problems with poor flower formation up until now I have put down to excess light more than anything else, but I now believe it is the high nitrogen content in Canna Coco nutes that is at fault, possibly because I didn't use it through veg as well. And right after I have bought new supplies 😆

I ran some Panama and Malawi regs on Canna Coco nutes all the way from seed to chop back a few years ago and flower development was excellent, so I've been surprised by results this time.

I've switched back to bloom specific coco nutes today and I'm hoping to see some improvement in growth before ripening commences. Otherwise, this grow is a bust.

Peace

I have dried the ka5haze and did cure it a little bit. It is very potent. I like it very much. I passed out on it more than once. I do like to use it in my vaporizer, it keeps giving vapes for a long time and it is still tasty till the end. Thanks for these ace seeds killer haze , now I do some Panama haze because of the good outcome with this Killera5haze.

Well done!
Beautiful nugs, it looks exactly like the ones I had, pretty stable variety. The looks, smells and effects are so memorable I love it. Next year I will do a repro of my regular Seeds, currently in F2. Maybe I do a F1 x F2 and/or otherwise. As well as crossing it out. It brings very powerful traits in crosses.

KA5H #2 clone Day 67

Excess nitrogen early in flower had some effect on development but the switch to coco bloom nutes from Day 40 led to a significant recovery.

I started flushing yesterday after feeding at EC 1.4 for the past 3 weeks. I think I'll chop her down in another 48 hours or so.

Trichome production is slightly higher than on the seed mother but they are a great deal more sticky this time around.

Peace to all.
