Hi everyone, my apologies for not replying this thread for months :bashhead: i have had trouble to reply on time the longer threads since this year started, i'm going to try to catch up on all of them nowadays that i have a bit more of time.

It’s been just under a month since I chopped my Killer A5, and I’ve sampled her a few times now. It’s certainly early still, and she’ll need more time to cure ... but all the samples have been consistent in character and effects, so I wanted to write up an early smoke report.

Here’s a few pics of a sample bud off of her. I’m not great with bud shots, I’ll need to practice, but this pheno was a heavy haze leaner. Buds are of a typical haze type. Airy, spongy, slightly fox tailed and up close they glisten with a crystalline appearance under decent light. Trichomes are smaller than Indicas or modern day hybrids.

The nose upon opening the jar is nothing to write home about, she’s not a super terpy type and at first I was a little put off by that.

Im glad to say thats where the disappointment ends though! I’ve been vaping her since the buds still need more time to cure. The smoke packs some pretty good flavor not at all represented in the nose on the jar. The taste on exhale is somewhere in the area of floral, perfume, and/or potpourri. Very pleasant.

As of now, the character of the high is 100% creeper, and slow creeper at that. It does not immediately hit you which can be quite dangerous as the potency is out of this world. Admittedly, I am not heavily experienced with these psychedelic pure Sativas, but I have a long history with almost all other hallucigenic substances and I will say this, this particular pheno is the most psychedelic ganja I have ever tried in my life, bar none. It will be interesting to see how the zamaldelica and other ACE offerings compare once i get around to growing them and become more experienced with these types.

My typical smoking sessions aren’t heavy, maybe 3-6 pulls off the vape. In this instance, to judge it fairly I took only three good pulls. As mentioned, the effect comes on slow. First noticing it very slightly a few minutes after smoking. With 5 minutes it’s clear that perceptions are changing, 15 minutes later there is clear intoxication.... and this intensifies and builds for seemingly upwards of thirty minutes and even out to an hour I’d say after smoking.

It’s very much like taking a hallucigen, there is a definite “peak” to the high. A consistent effect for me is that after around 30 minutes I feel like I got smacked right between my eyeballs, almost like I’m cross eyed. Colors intensify, and I swear on a few of the heavier sessions (5-6 vape pulls) I’ve even noticed audible distortions at times. This is some very, very wild stuff!
:whee::headbange

I’ve smoked this now with my soon to be brother in law, and last night with my girl. Both of them were destroyed. My girl kept commenting on how different it was to anything else she had smoked before, and how strong it was. Neither of them noticed the cross eyed feeling, however so maybe it is something with my particular physiology.

I have to say, I’m a little scared of this weed. It is extremely trippy. Not something you can smoke every day. Without ever mentioning this to either of them, they both had made comments at one point or another that they were scared to smoke more when I offered another hit to them.

In the Zamaldelica threads people describe that strain as “terror-ific” .... I’d say that certainly fits the bill here. Combine that with the unassuming, airy Sativa buds, lack of nose in the jar, and slow on set creeper effect... I can easily see how this ganja could be dangerous.

While this pheno, being so haze leaning, may Or may not be typical of the phenotypes that commonly appear in the Killer A5 Haze line.... it definitely lives up to the name. It really is some killer ganja... very much so.

Thanks again ACE, such different and unique gems you guys produce. Looking forward to searching through more of your genetics soon. Although after this I might need something more mellow and not so hard hitting, might look towards the Nepal Jam or Tikal line for some feel good, happy vibe weed. This stuff is more like injecting low dose psilocybin directly into your veins!

Then again I change my mind constantly so who knows maybe I’ll end up with another head banger growing soon! Haha :D

Thanks OZZ for the feedback and for your great post, i've been following your smoke reports through the curing, glad to hear you have experience with other psychedelics and that you appreciate the psychedelic qualities of Killer A5 Haze. Your harvested buds looks like a blend of Old Malawi Killer and Haze, without appreciable NL influence.

I think my trippiest cannabis experiences have been with Haze hybrids of strong Haze A content, with very trippy Malawi hybrids like Golden Tiger and with some good Zamal hybrids. Both Malawi and A5 Haze have 'Shiva the Destroyer' qualities, so Killer A5 Haze is without any doubt a solid choice if you want to impress someone with potency and psychedelia, or simply put them out of bounds.

I have experienced with LSD, mushrooms, nexus in my younger days .... my last (non cannabis) psychedelic experience was with Salvia concentrated (x40) 6-7 years ago, and what a trip :) it was my first authentic out of body conscious experience ..... i found myself in a place without time or space, and every single infinite angle of my eyesight was a slightly different physical world i just left, then i realized about dissociation between body and conscious, felt panic and i had to choose one of the realities to come back to my body, i chose one then i felt how my conscious travelled at speed of light coming back to physical world and recharging my body with my conscious again to finally land, but i felt that a part of me didn't fully come back, next i had to meditate to find me again, it was an amazing and scary experience at the same time, fortunately Ras Pablo was sober beside to company me.

Coming back to KA5H topic, i encourage you to explore more seeds to find other more terpy phenos, this one sounds strong enough, but another strength of this hybrid is the signature liver-incensey Dutch Haze aromas from Haze A. If you are into incensey ganja, life won't be the same after experiencing Haze A strong incensey terpenes ;)

Great vape (smoke) report Ozz. My experience with KA5 was a little different... with varying degrees of some of what you reported. As a plant, mine wasn't exactly going to win a beauty contest. But as I'm locked into guerilla method, bit hard to see they get everything they need. I reckon after getting a bead on it, I can definitely do a better job the next time.

Effects wise I found it resasonably strong and long lasting. Not too much in the way in out of body experiences, but there was definitely something old school about the tastes and smells. Very mild and easy on the draw. Pleasing taste. (I vape also - Crafty) I would describe it as earthy/leathery/mild herb-like. Kind of reminded of Thai a little. But it has been a long time! Taste definitely improved with the cure... hands down. Comes on reasonably fast and seems to last quite the while. The cerebral effects are definitely noticeable. It got me pretty motivated to get a few things done. There is definitely a background 'heaviness' to the effects. But it didnt seem to get in the way of motivation altogether. Banged up a stir fry in pretty short order!

Initially it was all top and bottom. Not much 'stoney middle'. With 3-4 months cure in vaccum pack its more rounded and complete. Some definite body to the finish, but it didnt feel like it was it was too aggresively 'imposed'. I did get pretty relaxed on the couch towards the end. No paranoia to speak of. But dont doubt it could get a little edgy if enough was imbibed? Always sleep pretty well afterwards.

Sure I could grow it better too. Perhaps see if I could get a little more clarity, yield and potency in the mix next attempt. We shall see. Lj

Thanks also for sharing your experience with your Killer A5 Haze Labia Joose  sounds like you have experience and strong tolerance to deal bravely with its effects. KA5H is a bit variable polyhybrid from the A5 Haze side so i also encourage you to keep popping more seeds from your pack, there are really mind blowing and trippy phenos to be found.

I just quit tobacco and combustion, and switch to vape with Volcano and Crafty, and i'm loving it ;) although i still need to adapt a bit to the new situation and recalibrate again my perceptions and sense of taste.

Mine have had their last day and will get chopped this evening at 105 days.

I snipped a bud off each about a week ago that I smoked yesterday.Smell on the big girl is very floral until broken up and then the meaty/liver smell comes through and is all I can smell on fingers afterwards. She got me higher than I've been in quite a while! She is a creeper that slowly builds over 20/30 mins that at peak has a feeling like my head, shoulders and chest were trying to lift off with an intense humming energy with some visual distortions. This lasts for a good while before mellowing out a bit and could see it being a bit too much for some when 1st smoked.
Hopefully the extra week hasn't altered her too much as was perfect as she was.

Wonderful Jayded:tiphat: One of the best looking phenos and better grown we have seen around here. I'm very sorry to hear it was stolen and that you only had the chance to experience her a bit :(
I thought rats was mainly a thing of my country and that there with the legalization people was not stealing so much. Wish you keep clones of her somewhere because sounds she held all the qualities i was looking for for this hybrid, else germinate some more, there's fire is every pack.

best decision ever. I'm now 12d off the tobacco and its wonderful. Its the 3.time in my life and i plan to stay off. Nicotine together with the 2,3,6-trimethyl-1,4-Naphthoquinon(mao inhibitor) in the tobacco is a very addicitve combination. Way more than nicotine on its own like in e-cigs.
for me i can say that quitting tobacco switched weed more to the sativa side imo. I don't smoke indica often so i normaly had to lay down a little after the 3.bong sensi star with tobacco. Without tobacco its still nice and relaxing but i don't get the heavy couchlock effect. But i also think that nicotine supresses the effect of cannabis a little.
the better taste is the best about it imo. I can recognise more nuances and my ability to smell gets better every day.

As a regular bong smoker i can recommend the sublimator if u can get one. The dynavap is also one of the best vapes imo.

Thanks dubi for the salvia experience description, mine was very similar except it was not scary but totally euphoric with hysterical laughter, came back fully operational and more wholesome as before. Definitely a trip to remember and maybe to repeat it some day.

The A5malawi is my favorite smoke right now, the colas/buds looked very similar to yours at this stage. I think you'll like her a lot :)
Cheers

Thanks Koondense friend :good: means a lot coming from you and knowing all the experience you have with our sativa strains and with high quality strong cannabis.

Bien jugado el mani ;) me alegra ver que has tenido una cosecha abundante! ¿ Cual es tu opinión tras estos meses de curado ?
Well done el mani, happy for your bountiful harvest! What's your opinion after all these months of curing ?

First smoked this girl, whilst entering Christiania Copenhagen,a couple of weeks back
With three puffs,I nearly lost my balance, almost blacked out
Got my act together when I was walking through all the hash dealings,2min later
Was floating by then,huge grin,
looking for the falafel canteen
There's a lake at Christiania, you can walk around it,quite some distance.Walked around it,twice, and, for the first time in 15yrs,didn't try any of the hash offerings
Trip, tripping and falafels, change of scenery, much more potent than my indoor KA5H
Have more stories, will share OZZ my friend
Loved and still love this strain

Thanks RED 1 for all great and frequent updates last season, really happy everything came to a good end and that you have been enjoying in Denmark your well deserved harvest in hash form :yummy: Sounds like you got one of these phenos that inspired me to write the description of this strain ;) It's been a while since i see you posting here, hope you are doing fine!

I’ve not long finishing flowering a lovely pheno of killer A5 Haze. It was grown in living soil and flowered for 87 days until mostly cloudy and a very few amber. I’ve kept it as I think it’s outstanding. Although only a week in the jars I had to borrow an ounce to make some cannabutter with. My preferred method of consumption these days but I’m still partial to the odd blunt. Anyway it’s already pretty potent, after half way through a blunt my heart rate starts to increase and my palms sweat slightly which indicates a strong high to come. Then wow the euphoria, bloody lovely, it’s duration is long and very up and giggly. The flavour is smooth, kind of like slightly rotten rose petals with that really old haze flavour from the 90’s for me. I’m about to flower anther pheno, the nl x haze pheno. This one I don’t know what the pheno is as couldn’t find a match online. I will document this one in a grow diary sometime next year.

I’ve not long had a nl x haze pheno in the jars. Curing for nearly 3 weeks now. It was great to grow, a bit leafy compared to a haze pheno I grew last grow. That one went 92 days whereas this one was mature by 79 days. I’ve borrowed an ounce as I’ve run dry. I extracted oil by grain alcohol and it yielded a massive 7.8g from an ounce of flowers. This pheno has a raw potency early off the branch, too much and it’s overwhelming and debilitating.

Thanks skunkfunk for your comments on the 2 phenos you have grown :) First one sounds and looks like my preferred type. Please, let us know your opinion about the second one once you are more familiarized with it.

Thanks for chime in GrassMan :huggg:A pleasure to know you had different KA5H phenos to experience with. How did the party end up ? Eager to know your opinion friend!

I shared some A5 with my friends this summer while having a cookout.
We all took three hits and then my buddy Joe wanted a fourth hit.

He then said, "I think I took one too many hits."
Joe went to the grill to cook our burgers, closed the grill and while holding the grill handle, passed out and fell to the ground bringing the grill and burgers with him.
I jumped up and said, "Joe!"
We pried Joe's hand from the grill, removed the grill and burgers from his chest and sat him upright.
He recovered about two minutes later and said, "I told you I took one too many hits!"
Then he grabbed a water and resumed cooking.

:D That was a good one Azure Thanks for the funny story :muahaha:

Heres a few pics of the KillerA5Haze ran outdoor In living soil 200 gallon pots. clones set out July and harvested second week of November shes a very vigorous grower, intense skunky smells during veg then started to evolve into leathery meat incense smells with cinnamon almost like a sugery baked good. The high is strong sativa like at first then long lasting to a very narcotic ending. The effect seems to last longer than the new hybrids. Very good smoke. This strain is very resistant to environmental stresses and even made it through an ice storm here in the plains. Covered of course but no supplemental heat.

Thanks for sharing your experience with us Cultivatorty. A text book KA5H experience based on your descriptions of her effects and terpenes ;) Glad to hear she worked like a champ there!

pff... listed whole thread... all a5 haze looks like brickweed at all.. And all of you, guys, so happy with this "top shelf" sativa...
if i get this type of looking weed, i will really dissapointed. Unless, price is about 2-3$ on gram.
Really dissapointed with overhype around ace strains.

Sorry, if it sound like insulting. But always hate to see people waiting for super stink, acrid and loud smell, which is comes after cure..
Do you really beliveve, that odorless plants (like any from this thread seems so) will get this super-duper smell and taste like dubi states in description of his "killer" a5 haze?

Interesting to read your opinion on something you haven't tried before :smoky:

LMAO. Makes me think of a few really heavy smokers who have sat on my couch and taken the challenge. I roll them a single fatty to smoke by themselves! Gong, another loser!

Nobody has been able to finish a medium size doobie without parking it about 1/2 to 2/3 finished.
Some of these guys are stoned all day long and consume 1/2 to 1 oz a week of their usual indica hybrids.
This is the difference between SE Asian sativas and off the shelf, hard, dank nuggets.

Most of my friends have turned to the light, and are now converts. After being exposed to pure sativas, they quickly realize the difference, and what they have been missing.

Some of these ACE selections I have tried are as good or better than 1970's Thai Stick. Yes, I was there, buying and selling some of the best of the 70s and 80s.

For me it is not all about potency, it is all about the QUALITY of the high. Soaring sativa highs last for hours!
I look for mind expanding experiences, exciting stuff that make my synapses fire.
Highs that inspire creativity - that get me thinking outside the box.

Compared to high grade sativas, many so called dank buds have grungy, unpleasant highs for me. Yes, I said unpleasant.
Just my 2 cents, XERB

Thanks a lot xerb means a lot coming from a person who tried the best sativa imported classics from the 70s and 80s.
That was (and still is) one of the ACE main breeding goals: to try to capture the best traits from the best tropical sativa landraces, and offer them in a way that can be easily grown indoors and outdoors in non tropical climates by growers with all kind of skills, and to try to expand the high quality sativa genetics in seed form to growers all around the world.

yes this killer a5 haze is crazy mental effect。just fuck up my friend yesterday. He was completely panicked and confused, he even felt his body tremble。
and i feel no much people grow good on this line........

One must be careful when offering KA5H to unexperienced smokers chiesesganja ;) And your are right, A5 Haze and Killer A5 Haze are not the easiest genetics to grow. The flowering time is long, so there are more chances to make failures, and they require lots of feeding and lots of attention in this regard, otherwise the results are subpar with their potential .... from almost hay-mediocre weed to some of the strongest pot on Earth, such radical could be the difference. Malawi is easier to grow.

A lot of us who grew up with pure sativas are in it for the type of high; looks and smell don't come into it at all for me. I want something mentally stimulating, not couchlock. Mostly any indica will detract from that. Best pot I've had in 40 years was not hybridised North American multi hybrid, but third world brickweed in Laos. You would have likely not bought it, or liked it. Most youngsters seem to be chasing a high more like an opiate, whereas I want something to clean the house, go for a hike, or solve the worlds problems. Prohibition has wrecked weed imo and I feel sorry for the youngsters who grew up with hybrids and indica's.

I trhink we have a similar taste Chi13 ;) Some of the best and most potent sativa landraces i have had the pleasure to try in their place of origin in latest years were purple Laotian from Vang Vieng and the black Aceh Sumatran, both very different, but both truly trip weed. And i agree, it feels like talking about completely different herbs when trying to explain about good pure sativa effects to people that have only experienced indica dom strains, especiallyto those smokers who started smoking only after OG Kush-Cookies era.

Thanks Fronk for all your great updates :huggg: glad to see you keep growing your KA5H clone, i think you got a very similar expression to the one OZZ got, very Old Malawi Killer and Hazy looking, long flowering, potent but not very terpy. You may find shorter flowering and more aromatic expressions with same potency and possibly with even better effects by exploring more seeds.

Man, I2m in the exact same situation ; have been smoking this for 3 weeks, yielded 245gr with 5 weeks of veg , liver smell , now after curing incense is there too with chocolate and wood.not sure about the pheno.if smell was a color,it would be the one with #86592d code on scale ,in my imagination.
large and fat buds, very heavy, narcotic head high, knocks me out with 2 joints. definitely a killer. laughters and empty looking faces with this weed.
great yield, great power, unique smell.I liked it a lot. my friend coming from Netherlands liked it too.

Thanks a lot MyGrowRoom :good: Beautiful and skillfully grown, very nice resins ala New Malawi Killer style.Really accurate description of how i feel and describe this strain.
Glad your Dutch friend also liked it, it should bring nice memories to him if he smoked good Dutch Haze hybrids (without Skunk) from the 90s.

Will try to upload my KA5 tree 😉

Wow ipchains those colas are of megalithic look and proportions, well done! Looks similar to the phenos OZZ and Fronk got.
How did she finish ? And what's your opinion about her ?

I did a guest post apparently and I can't find it so I'm trying again. Test results back from my second A5 haze and it is a stunner.

I would like to add that this was seed number two. That alone is pretty incredible and likely a bit of good luck as well. I didn't know if either of the first two would be a keeper so I popped four more. They are about 6 in tall in cups and almost ready to be transplanted, so I am not done with this thread just yet! When they say this is the strongest strain in the Ace lineup they're not kidding. Hands down real deal. I've popped hundreds of seeds over the years and never seen results like this. Thank you ace.

Amazing MIGreenman :tiphat: 28 % THC, and from just 2 seeds :D Both C5 Haze and A5 Haze mothers grown up to their best potential by Yo Sammy reach around 21-22 % THC range, it's the New Malawi Killer that brings Killer A5 Haze easily up to 30 % of THC like Golden Tiger or some Zamaldelica fem do. Your 2 plants have a really nice mix of traits, the more yellowish plant 1 finished with an Old Malawi Killer look, but with the huge massive colas when A5 Haze is grown up to its best potential. Plant 2 is less stretchy like NL phenos do, but with strong sativa branching and a very Hazy more spongy flowering structure, you did an outstanding job with both, can't wait to see what it comes next from the new seeds ;) Thanks to you for your contributions, lab results and kindness!

Hi

I have a question for the master himself. dubi could you say whether this is a Haze A pheno? I know the pics are not the best, but I had some trouble keeping the beast in position to take a picture.

It grew so much and I had to bend and twist it so many times that it was a love/hate relationship rather. Now she's drying and we will see how that relationship develops. Do you guys think the bending and twisting is extending the flowering time? Mine took 91 days. I am growing the same pheno again from clone now and I am sure it will be more successful now as I know her. Nevertheless she's still a beast!

By the way this plant is a nute monster, it consumed crazy amounts of nutes. My Haze x KaliChina could hardly take half the amounts she had. So better be prepared.

Hi orangina, appearance and structurally looks like a Haze A dominant pheno rather than Malawi or NL, but you will know for sure smelling and smoking her, the livery incensey A5 signature terps are unmistakable. And you are right, Oldtimer's Haze hybrids like Haze x Kali China may need half or third part of the nutrients than KA5H asks for.

Recently i met Karel from SSSC and i smoked his Old School Haze which is fantastic, love it, OSH is a very Haze dominant Skunk Haze hybrid that was bred from the same batch of pure Original Haze seeds from Sam where Nevil also found his Haze A and C parental plants. Karel told me his favorite pure Haze pheno was the brown one, like Haze A, and i concur, the offspring from brown Original Haze phenotypes have the most scandalous incensey terpenes.

My KA5H #2 pictured here almost 3 weeks ago. She’s in the dark right now for cutting tomorrow. Taking her at 76 days. Very subtle liver and the decayed flower smells on this pheno.
My KA5H #1 is probably 2-3 weeks away from harvest still. #1 looks more like the Haze A pheno, but it has a very nice fermented peach smell.

Both plants have had minimal smells indoors both in veg and flower. Outdoors clones of each in veg are much stinkier.

These have been an absolute pleasure and an easy grow. I didn’t push them at all and can tell they wanted a little more N than I gave them in the beginning. I’ll be feeding the outdoor plants a little heavier.
I can’t wait to run an indoor scrog with the KA5H.

Congrats on your harvest Cactus Squatter ;) Looks mainly Haze dominant to me too, glad you have enjoyed growing this genetics, guess you must be about to give it a try for the first time :dancer:
wAAACH5BAEKAAAALAAAAAABAAEAAAICRAEAOw==
And yeah, most growers realize they need to increase N and overall NPK levels when growing this strain, i always recommend to try to keep them green until quite the end of flowering for best results.

Down to my last 2 jars of KA5H. I can't believe it goes so fast. I'm sorry if my constant praise for this strain annoy anyone but this is one of my first experience with Ace and sativas in general and I cant keep myself from constantly appreciating how lucky I am to have this strain in my stash.

filedata/fetch?id=17861642&d=1621523867

For the past couple months it's been my daily strain. Always does the job. Barely builds any tolerance; since the past couple of months I hadn't gone more than 10 hours without smoking or vaping KA5H. On break at work, at home I'm literally vaping this strain back to back and it always does the job. Even if i build tolerance to it, I think just a days break will reset; tolerance isn't an issue with KA5H.

Not saying you don't build tolerance, but since I had to throw out a GT due to herm, KA5H had been the main smoke and it gets me high every time.

I vapes smoked some of my hybrid earlier this week and within 30 minutes I was looking for my A5 jar again.

The only negative thing I can see is sometimes the high is pretty uncomfortable, especially if you're sleep deprived, then it makes you twitchy and anxious.

Question for anyone who's experienced with Ace strains:

KA5H really has a deep head-spacey, disassociating, introspective effect. Is this part of the Malawi side or the A5 haze side? I hadn't grown the Malawi yet (next in rotation) so I'm wondering what to expect.

Thanks Azn00superman :) Glad to hear you have had a pleasant experience with your first ACE grow! It's always a good sign when the jars finish before than others :D
Although i find KA5H not the most suitable strains for daily daytime use, it's too strong, spacey and heavy, at least for me.

I find both Malawi and A5 Haze 'deep head-spacey, disassociating and introspective', both increase these qualities when they merge into KA5H hybrid, that was my goal with this strain, to keep also the liver incensey terpene profiles as much as possible, the massive yields and to increase THC levels close to 30 %. Malawi is one of the very few sativa lines i can think of to rival with A5 Haze in potency, so to make this first A5 Haze hybrid with Malawi was a quite natural choice for me.

Welcome Rock Kickass :) and congrats on your harvest, what a great way to introduce yourself to this room!:dance013:

Good luck with yours Humple W.

And i hope i'm not forgetting anyone or any question ..... if so, please knock my door ;)

oh yeah almost forgot about it ..... 2 weeks ago i had a very kind phone call from Karma G .... he allows ACE to keep working with A5 Haze in a more open way and without the initial restrictions :thank you:I was speechless and of course i'm willing to share one of my elite ACE parental plants with him if he finds them interesting for his projects.

As some of you may know, we have been producing small seed batches of new A5 Haze hybrids 'on the shade'.
We will try to test some during this second half of the year, hopefully we find something really good worth to spread.

What’s weird is my #1 pheno showed nitrogen sensitivity and clawed some leaves about 3 weeks into flower, then grew back out of it and asked for more food a few weeks later.

My KA5H#1 was just pulled last week and is playing the curing game. The one bit I sampled was much stronger than my #2 pheno.

Both are strong but it’s crazy how gentle they are at the same time. #1 is my keeper so far, but I’ve got around 15 more KA5H seeds to try sometime.

Well done el mani, happy for your bountiful harvest! What's your opinion after all these months of curing.?

yes, this year it will not be necessary to put it ... I have a good reserve in the fridge.
a spectacular plant, I use it on weekends because it shakes some good kicks. This weekend I will throw my hand at the pot and I confirm you.
It tastes like "hollyhock haze" to me and makes me spend ten minutes staring at a log or sniffing the flowers like a madman.
This year the C5 and the guajaze are already showing, we'll see how they behave.
A hug and thanks again

Hi everyone, my apologies for not replying this thread for months :bashhead: i have had trouble to reply on time the longer threads since this year started, i'm going to try to catch up on all of them nowadays that i have a bit more of time.

Thank you Dubi, I very much appreciate your insights and feedback. I will be sure to do just that. I believe I have five more killer A5 haze seeds and I think a proper hunt popping them all alongside each other should be done to select for the best out of the bunch.

Cheers!!

oh yeah almost forgot about it .....

I have heard about some of these crosses and I am very very interested in them. I’ll be watching closely and am looking forward to see how they come out! :yay:

One of my two KA5H (the beer can is for scale). Planning to up-pot today or tomorrow and then give it a week or so before flipping. No idea how big she'll get, but hopefully she stays manageable in the tent, alongside her (currently) smaller sister!

Here's one outside at 33N. Started indoors around New Years and put outdoors in early March. Tried for a spring harvest which didn't happen. Additionally pictured are: larf at the bottom, dense growth in the middle, and beginning to vegetatively stretch at the top. She's 1.7-1.8 meters tall. Let's hope she makes it to fall harvest.

Wow ipchains those colas are of megalithic look and proportions, well done! Looks similar to the phenos OZZ and Fronk got.
How did she finish ? And what's your opinion about her ?

Congrats on your harvest Cactus Squatter ;) Looks mainly Haze dominant to me too, glad you have enjoyed growing this genetics, guess you must be about to give it a try for the first time :dancer:
wAAACH5BAEKAAAALAAAAAABAAEAAAICRAEAOw==
And yeah, most growers realize they need to increase N and overall NPK levels when growing this strain, i always recommend to try to keep them green until quite the end of flowering for best results.

Thank you Dubi- Its great to see you back here catching up on your commenting. As mentioned to you I have four more A5 haze getting ready to go into flower and It's a real pleasure to explore different expressions in this plant as all are special in their own way... and the potency return on the time invested is superb. I will be updating on the A5 hybrid testers- peace to all.

She is going to be a monster flowering her from that size, I flip to 12/12 on first sight of roots from clone on my keeper cut. Even a week veg time and shes hard to manage. I had a very haze dominant pheno that I flowered straight from clone and had to chop her three times she was so out of control and even that didn't contain her. Good luck.
