Been smoking this strain for almost three weeks now. Almost three weeks since harvest so not much time curing yet.
I didn't weigh my harvest but it was more than 7 oz, probably 8 oz even, and this is with underfeeding and lack of light until 5 weeks into flower. Next time running clone with good training and good light and 45 day veg in a 7 gal fabric pot I think it's very possible to pull 12 oz. And it only took 10 weeks! Granted I could have let her go for 12 but we were running low and had to leave for a trip so she had to go. So KA5H is an amazing yielder.
Mine was quite squat in stature so probably Malawi pheno?
Anyway, the flower is quite airy but it makes up in bud size, the buds are large and fat. Originally it had a rubber mixed with liver smell. Now after 2 weeks cure the flower smells like a mix of incense and a musky, masculine smell. I can't put a direct nose on this second part except that it smells exotic and dark as hell. Taste is even more difficult to define, but not my favorite weed taste for sure (that honor goes to Slurricane lol).
now the high:
It is really strong and heady. Not the clear or motivational type, but debilitating and narcotic. You get really spaced out and lost in a hailstorm of thoughts. Don't expect to get anything productive done unless you really force yourself to get up and do them (which is possible but not ideal when you're high on KA5H).
Not really an indica like couchlock persay, since you don't really get sleepy smoking this, but you definitely don't want to be overtoking on this on a day filled with errands.
The high can also be very deceiving, being that it's all in the head. One night me and my wife were having a sesh on KA5H and she asked how high I was. I told her a 6, but as I reached for the lighter there was a weird shift in my vision and I realized I was a lot higher than a 6.

I have a high tolerance and is pretty much medicated all the time except when I sleep. KA5H has been my daily smoke and it has either no ceiling or very high ceiling because I can still get wiped out whenever I want. You consistently and reliably get higher the more you smoke. My wife even said that she could not smoke this like normal indicas that I grew where she toked all day because next thing she knew she was staring open mouth zoning out in her head and nothing would get done.

Don't get me wrong, like a good sativa you can have a good time on KA5H if you don't go overboard and it can be very fun and uplifting depend on your body chemistry and tolerance level.

Overall I like this strain a lot if not for any other reason than yield and pure power. It will definitely be in my rotation for sure, I can't wait to see how much better the clone will turn out to be.

Man, I2m in the exact same situation ; have been smoking this for 3 weeks, yielded 245gr with 5 weeks of veg , liver smell , now after curing incense is there too with chocolate and wood.not sure about the pheno.if smell was a color,it would be the one with #86592d code on scale ,in my imagination.

very heavy,narcotic head high, knocks me out with 2 joints. definitely a killer. laughters and empty looking faces with this weed.

Lately i tried a bit of what'sleft of my KA5H from last summer, so cured for 9 months...
Now i vape so can feel the taste much better compared to smoking... anyway... this bud gave me a very strong eucalyptus aroma, the feeling i got was exactly the same as being in a turkush sauna(100% rh) with eucalyptus oils lingering in the moist air.
Wonderful sensation of well being and bliss, lasts for a long time too. Sadly i only have one bud left

Killer A5 is at 80 days today and I can't bring myself to cut it down yet. Very haze dom, with the sour floral petals and leather going on. What a beast!
Early broken-branch smoke test was enjoyable at ten weeks. This one has a very few fresh pistols now and will be 84 days when it comes down early next week. Been been drinking pure ph'd water for about ten days.
As a first time experiment, I mostly let it go wild and it held itself up pretty well!
I have four more A5 seedlings going, so I will continue to curate this strain through the summer.
Not sure the exact pheno- does not look like the silver Malawi so much but definitely of the longer ripening variety. Comments welcome!

Ok, I should correct myself, made a huge mistake here...I was high on OaxPan while writing this

The described smell and effect were actually from Thai x Panama, not from KA5H! The KA5H is a bit stronger and more old school smelling, has that salty incense thing going on and the high has a fast onset and lasts for 3+ hours. I compared the two runs I did, one was in winter(from seed), the other was early summer(from clone) and there were some differences in high and bud structure. I prefer the summer bud, is a bit cleaner while the winter one has a bit of heaviness and confusion going on.

Really frosting over as the trichs go from more clear to opaque... It is ripening all over the map- still about a third clear, the rest cloudy and about ten percent amber- a bright clear amber you can see through. Very interesting mix of slowly ripened bits with only a very few degraded trichomes at this point. A nice wide window from which to choose where you want to cut it down. As Zandar used to say, "sticky buds, stay tuned!"

Finally got some KA5H planted. I intended to get these in over a month ago, but as usual, things didn't go according to plan. Still, here we are! I planted 2 of the 6-pack. I'm starting them in my mini-hempy buckets, and then I'll transplant to 2-gallon containers. (These 2 plants will ultimately be flowered in an 80cm x 80cm x 180cm tent, under 200-250 watts of 3000k Quantum Boards and PC red supplemental LEDs for side-lighting.)

I’ve not long had a nl x haze pheno in the jars. Curing for nearly 3 weeks now. It was great to grow, a bit leafy compared to a haze pheno I grew last grow. That one went 92 days whereas this one was mature by 79 days. I’ve borrowed an ounce as I’ve run dry. I extracted oil by grain alcohol and it yielded a massive 7.8g from an ounce of flowers. This pheno has a raw potency early off the branch, too much and it’s overwhelming and debilitating.

My KA5H #2 pictured here almost 3 weeks ago. She’s in the dark right now for cutting tomorrow. Taking her at 76 days. Very subtle liver and the decayed flower smells on this pheno.
My KA5H #1 is probably 2-3 weeks away from harvest still. #1 looks more like the Haze A pheno, but it has a very nice fermented peach smell.

Both plants have had minimal smells indoors both in veg and flower. Outdoors clones of each in veg are much stinkier.

These have been an absolute pleasure and an easy grow. I didn’t push them at all and can tell they wanted a little more N than I gave them in the beginning. I’ll be feeding the outdoor plants a little heavier.
I can’t wait to run an indoor scrog with the KA5H.
