Killer A5 Haze

She is going to be a monster flowering her from that size, I flip to 12/12 on first sight of roots from clone on my keeper cut. Even a week veg time and shes hard to manage. I had a very haze dominant pheno that I flowered straight from clone and had to chop her three times she was so out of control and even that didn't contain her. Good luck.

I’ve been able to really control stretch with the KA5H by running them at 11/13 instead of 12/12.

Yeah, that's what I'm afraid of. Push comes to shove, I'll get prune-happy and cut her back as much as necessary to keep her in check. I thought about maybe starting the flowering in the 32 ounce pots, but that makes me a little nervous too...

Interesting. I run all my tents at 11/13 for flower, regardless of strain. Hadn't really thought about that as a stretch-control though. (But it's been so long since I ran anything at 12/12 that I can't even compare well.)

I currently have 2 KA5H scrog runs going, one that is at 11/13 and one I forgot was on 12/12… I’ve been fighting the 12/12 setup trying to maintain it and remembered yesterday after this post to check that timer. Oops. 😂 I had it set for Panama Deep Chunks and other hybrids that I run 12/12. Hoping it calms itself down with the new cycle.

İ grew my killer a5 on 11/13 , 45 cm plant in veg was 2.20 at the end and stretch continued for 6 weeks at least. And it took 13 weeks to mature :d

I'm thinking about maybe chopping off all branches and leaves halfway up the main stalk and then burying it to that point in the grow medium. Might slow it down a bit, and could give me a few more inches of headroom? Might not make an appreciable difference though?

I usually clone directly in solo cups. With all my haze crosses once I see roots coming out of the bottom I transplant them to there final 5 gallon container and flip to flower. Recently I acquired an ez cloner knock off and have been rooting my clones in that then transplanting from ez cloner to solo cups. Now I give them two days in the solo cups to allow the roots to fill into the bottom of the cups then I transplant them into there final 5 gallon containers and flip to flower.

That looks like you pinched it at 4 or 5 leaves to make more main stems. Is that the case,? I have KA5 Haze and Kali China both look like they will get tall. I want to know if they can be pinched to make them more manageable.

That pic wasn't mine it was Humple W.'s pic. To me it looks like he had it in that small container for a while that's why she looks like that. Mine usually gets like that after spending some time in a smaller container.

The last run I did of my cut straight from clone ended up about 7ft tall at 12 weeks when they were cut. It seems like the top of the main cola never stops flowering when the rest of the plant looks finished. I still think I can dial her in some more.
