Bless you and yours as well Solar! You want to know what’s weird? The original seed plant as well as the clones have a “burnt” weed smell to them while growing in veg. Very very strange. I’ve never had a plant smell like this vegetatively.

It literally smells like the black tar resin you scrape out of a dirty pipe. Very dark and ominous. Not in any way the fresh green grass, pine, or fruity smells typically found in cannabis while growing in veg.

Fast forward to harvest and smoke.... and the effect is kind of like that. Very intense and aggressive. Very in your face-take that.

If I were to assign a human emotion to the character of the high I would call it down right mean lmao Hahaha. She plays mind tricks on you. La llorona. She’s an exitoc- dark and ominous lady in all ways... and she will stay in my mother cab until she gets dethroned *if* I end up finding something more trippy than her because that’s definitely the category she lives in.

Hi Roland.... believe you me, as soon as this girl hits the 2 month cure Point in the jar, I’ll be rolling a doobie and will go find a nice park to sit down by myself and take her in. You know.... to really see what she’s made of. I’m sure she will win that round Haha.

I don’t consider them “ready” until 3 months cure, and actually the way I test new strains anyway is with a single spliff. That’s my preferred method of smoking. Joints. At this point she’s not cured enough, That’s why I’ve been testing her little by little with the vape.

I can already tell though, next month when I do the spliff challenge it’s going to be a banger! HA!

Thanks! I’m very interested to see how she changes, with more cure. They always do and I don’t doubt anything different with this girl. Time will tell and I’ll be sure to report here as she transforms. Maybe the aggressiveness will mellow and change into something else? Possible. Honestly I kind of hope she doesn’t.

I used to grow Salvia. Anyone ever grow salvia? I’ve grown lots of different ethnobotanicals in my time. Cubensis, salvia, cactus, poppies, morning glories, datura. Imo each plant has a certain vibe about them. All the cannabis strains I have ever grown had a similar friendly aura. This girl is different, it reminds me much of Salvia more than Cannabis. She could be kind... Sometimes she is, but more often she’ll smack you around and show you yourself.

Great vape (smoke) report Ozz. My experience with KA5 was a little different... with varying degrees of some of what you reported. As a plant, mine wasn't exactly going to win a beauty contest. But as I'm locked into guerilla method, bit hard to see they get everything they need. I reckon after getting a bead on it, I can definitely do a better job the next time.

Effects wise I found it resasonably strong and long lasting. Not too much in the way in out of body experiences, but there was definitely something old school about the tastes and smells. Very mild and easy on the draw. Pleasing taste. (I vape also - Crafty) I would describe it as earthy/leathery/mild herb-like. Kind of reminded of Thai a little. But it has been a long time! Taste definitely improved with the cure... hands down. Comes on reasonably fast and seems to last quite the while. The cerebral effects are definitely noticeable. It got me pretty motivated to get a few things done. There is definitely a background 'heaviness' to the effects. But it didnt seem to get in the way of motivation altogether. Banged up a stir fry in pretty short order!

Initially it was all top and bottom. Not much 'stoney middle'. With 3-4 months cure in vaccum pack its more rounded and complete. Some definite body to the finish, but it didnt feel like it was it was too aggresively 'imposed'. I did get pretty relaxed on the couch towards the end. No paranoia to speak of. But dont doubt it could get a little edgy if enough was imbibed? Always sleep pretty well afterwards.

Sure I could grow it better too. Perhaps see if I could get a little more clarity, yield and potency in the mix next attempt. We shall see. Lj

Interestingly enough that you ask that, just yesterday we went boating and I rolled a doobie instead of bringing the vape. The was some differences, most notably being the vape seems to hit much harder hit for hit.

We split the doober between like 5 people, and myself I probably took around 5-6 hits. It didn’t seem quite as devestating, but still very strong. It was a beautiful evening coming back on the boat driving right into the sunset.

Thanks Labia, and nice write up of your own as well! I’m sure she will change with proper cure, in another month or two I’ll revisit. As mentioned above the spliff was more mild in effects and seemed less psychoactive and more cannabis like. I imagine a few bong rips or an edible made from her could teleport you easily into another dimension! Hahaha

I've been searching for bud like ozz's description my whole smoking life.
Gotta get my hands on these seeds.... and zamaldelica!

Just smoked a few bong hits of Bangi Haze (and a mixed joint beforehand) I don't dig the taste. Kinda woody. But it packs a punch.
I hate the taste of pipe resin, but if brings the trip like you say, I'll deal with it... With a grin above my chin!

To clarify, the flavor when smoking it is quite nice, floral, perfume or potpourri like.

It’s the scent she omits into the room (while in veg) that has that dark smell.

For example, I took a clone to a buddy a few weeks ago. I had it with me over the weekend as I was meeting up with him on Sunday. I had the clone sitting under a side table lamp to give her some light until he could get her. When entering the room it smelled like there was a bunch of burned joints sitting in a bowl. You know that heavy resin like scent the end of a burnt joint smells like? That’s what this little itty bitty clone made the entire room smell like.

As a side note, actual physical stem rubs lend a much fresher piney scent.

Cheers Ozz.She's def an a5 dom plant as the liver and leathery notes have come on strong the last few days.She still has the marigold floral notes but has lost the muscle rub smell.

Shorty really stinks of a sweet berry/fruity floral smell with a musky funk in the background.Smell reminds me more of an old skunk 1 than anything.I cut mag a bit too early on her so has some fried leaves(white led's are a pain!)but should still finish fine.I'll try to get a decent shot of her when I visit them later.
