Hi BH

Ok mate first of all Ill get the G13/kush story out of the way.
Whatever I say will cause conflict somewhere in the canna world and I dont want that happening in this thread, so I will keep it simple and just give our opinion.
As far as we can tell and I say we, these are the original plants or as close as to them as you are going to get.....They were never grown outside as i have done here, so that has lots of influence, also they have been grown during winter, another influencing factor, but plants have been picked out that are old school in smells and structure and these are the ones that will be worked with. The same is happening with the Skunks, Afghans and Nev Hazes, which as you will remember these are from 8-10yr old seeds and as I am led to believe the last from this stock, I will be growing 5 phenos over summer that we have chosen as the best and I will also try and make some standout F2's.
So in a nutshell we have no reason to not believe Mr Ortega, in fact we would have to say he has done a fantastic job in his preservation of these strains......End of story for me, all I can say is just sit back and watch.:tiphat:

Yes mate that is from the Kariba.....I will try and get some more pics as it was a bad day for pics last time and I would also like people to see the structure on these plants.

I have just picked the Heri's so a report will be coming on them, AG13 will be done over summer and all the others are just about ready for testing as soon as they are dried.

I will try and get some info up on other things that are happening at the other farm......lots of surprises happening there:dance013:
But for me its Sativa time:jump:
Stay well...K

I have to tell you

For sometime i had lost the pleasure i once had of posting an visting our sites, but its members like you an post like this that bring back feelings

I truly appreciate the details Response an all your efforts .

I am one that appreciates the spreading an preserving mindframe an only hope more will continue in that fashion ,as for the stories it wasnt of much interest to me but things are much more plain too see that most folks make of it .It seems some like to speak more than listen

I look forward too seeing an hearing more on the karibas

AG13 Ahhh you got me hyped :dance013:,is that the OSH Clone only from Holland .Im curious if you have or plan to aquire the A5 aswell.Of all those OSH clones i understand these 2 were the best

I love surprises

Best wishes

too true....

too true....

I think we've all felt that a bit in the last year as the playing field changes and evolves. To Kanga's credit he's maintained a level of decorum that very few (Donald Mallard an exception) can claim. When he was hustled and bustled by jealous types threatened by a cornucopia of unknown strains, he quietly receded into the background not wanting to partake in the negativity. In contrast I've said all sorts of terrible and stupid things on these boards. But you're right - when a veteran with decades of experience gives us an insight into the world of breeding (and particularly with one of the few masters like Nevil at his side) it bodes well for the development of interesting new strains. It also imbues avid bystanders like you and me with a warm sense of bonhomie:)

We owe these guys so much for their humility, the info I (as I'm sure many) have learnt from these threads, in 12 months is more than I have learned in 20 years of not having this kind of luxury.

I firmly believe what these guys are doing is what I have been wondering for years: is someone going to reinvent the wheel, start again from scratch and find a new grail? With all these brilliant genetics and many years experience, surely these guys will come up with the best of the best.

i got the space to grow monsters love seeing posts like this great stuff seeing where the real authentic mm line comes from im stoked we got good weed like this mmmmm i love the sound of the high :)

can we get a glimps on any indica doms :)

Ok mate for you no worries:tiphat:

Here is a SSH x Mullum Widow, I used about 5 different male MW males and this was one of the earliest flowering pheno's and what a beauty she is going to be, she has excellent resin and super solid heads and from the regrowth that is starting to happen now, plenty of hybrid vigour.....I am just about to put a clone of her in the home garden in between NHZ#21 and #35, the 2 top keepers from the old seed......anyway here is a pic of her.

Very sexy ladies

From this angle it looks like the leaf doesnt have any serration am i correct ?

Im curious too see more of the bud structure aswell as some dry nugs of this kariba

Im also very curious to know of the Karibas you chose to work with what are all the taste/aromas ? hazey ?

Which ones hold the Frankincense trait is it the longer flowering or shorter flowering ?

always appreciated

No mate there is serations, it was just late in the afternoon and it was hard to get a shot.
Because they are now fully seeded and reveging there is really not much bud to get a pic of, have to wait till the end of summer or go to my album and have a look at the Kariba's there as they are clones of those.
As for smell well what can I say except it is old school sativa, fuelly, earthy, incense, real African strain smell and a very wild sativa structure, smoke is the same pure Sativa electric, trippy stone......no Indica what so ever, which you will find in the Nev Haze smoke.

Yeterday I sampled the Mullum Madness mum after 6 months of curing and it also has that pure Sativa taste and smell, smooth as and just a nice earthy incense smell.
I had 4 -5 good hits on a nice fat joint and 15 minutes later I was siting in the gararge looking into space wondering what hit me, that was at 2 pm over the next 4 hrs I managed to get all my watering and put a plant in the ground in a total Sativa trippy daze at 10.30 pm I went to bed in exactly the same state I was at 2pm and slept like a log. Next morning no hangover which can occur when smoking very strong pot.
Anyway I will get some pics up soon.....stay well all ...K
