Oh go on bushweed. I'm sure no one minds!

What a beautiful collection.

You are the envy of many a grower, Mr Kanga and co.Now have you got any shots of any with that beautiful purple foliage, and pink pistils?

Best of health.

Reminds me of a Lebanese I grew...Is yours from a seedbank?

Hi mate.....No that was gifted to me by a very good friend. I am sure when grown during winter or when it's cooler they all show those colours. Smell was excellent, but the high was lacking.

Cheers Aussiepurp:tiphat:

i think a cross between the x18 and the black could done a freak of nature :dance013:

cheers

Hi manivelle...good to see u here.

I tried doing a few crosses with the X18, but it didnt quite work with what I was using. I am sure this is a excellent plant done indoors and outdoors gives off some amazing colours.....maybe it's a project for u ??

Awesome pics Kanga especially the NH, would love to get some frosty sats in my collection..:gday:

Thanx coca, yep frosty sats are one of my favourites, but I must say I am enjoying a few frosty Indicas as well:dance013:

Here are some pics of a Nordle keeper, my Lemon skunk mazar cross and one of the breeding mazars for this season.
I really like these mazars as they really dont have much smell so everything I have crossed to it puts it smell in to it.

So this Mazar, she's a pure indica from that region? She must be a special plant for you and nev (to have selected). What are the features of this plant that make her so attracive?

Hi mate.....Actually the Mazar is my pet and yes it is a landrace and according to the person who gave it to me it came from Shanti's personal stock which makes it possible that this is the one Nev brought with him from his journey to those regions.
The first thing that stood out with this strain apart from it huge resinous heads was its resistance to mold, not a spot on her after the season we had was pretty incredible for a Indica.
I had done all my crosses before I had even smoked her because of this reason and then after smoking her I knew I had something special as it has a Sativa sort of high, but is a very good night time smoke as well, which not only I liked but numerous others voted her as their favourite Indica and at the end of a good party was always called for to finish the evening:dance013:
Unfortunetly I lost that mum but I did get seeds from her, but this winter I decided to grow out the rest of the original seeds and so far everyone is a keeper, with 4 stand outs.
I still havent tried the Kushes, Maple Leaf or G13 from Mr Ortega yet to compare, but on looks and resin production these girls are hard to beat.
So that is the story, I like this plant and it is going into my seed bank with the Mullum, Oaxacan and my Norcal strains , the only other plants that I have kept since first getting them.

Hi BH

We tested some colombians, but nothing really came up to par with the Mullum, Oaxacan, Kariba and the NH's.
I believe we have something reminescent of that first female:dance013:
You know BH there were lots of offers, but it is impossible to try them all and what we have also found out is that alot of the strains are just renamed old strains.
With the Thai's, Ill just do updates on them as they are growing, as apart from Gypsy's Thai nothing has been tested.
Ok maybe we will see you down here sometime and you can come into the world of Madness....Lol

I appreciate the detailed Response ,all your pics are beautiful an i eagerly await to hear of more progress on this Grail project .

Im surpised to hear you didnt find anything special with the lumbos ,I understand to each his own an maybe the origin of the stock played a part aswell.

Im estatic to hear that there is anything reminescent of the first female :jump:.Id really love to hear some detail on that as to what strain it might be :).

Id love to know your thoughts on the maple leaf / airbourne G13 /herijuana .Im curious to see what they will produce in your hands an what you might cross them with .That old kush an G13 is somthin that also needs to get looked at throughly to much Bs kushes/G13 an hybrids goin around .The community needs to know what the real deal is about .

Is that foxtail's on those Karibas ?:dance013:

Always appreciated

Hi BH

Ok mate first of all Ill get the G13/kush story out of the way.
Whatever I say will cause conflict somewhere in the canna world and I dont want that happening in this thread, so I will keep it simple and just give our opinion.
As far as we can tell and I say we, these are the original plants or as close as to them as you are going to get.....They were never grown outside as i have done here, so that has lots of influence, also they have been grown during winter, another influencing factor, but plants have been picked out that are old school in smells and structure and these are the ones that will be worked with. The same is happening with the Skunks, Afghans and Nev Hazes, which as you will remember these are from 8-10yr old seeds and as I am led to believe the last from this stock, I will be growing 5 phenos over summer that we have chosen as the best and I will also try and make some standout F2's.
So in a nutshell we have no reason to not believe Mr Ortega, in fact we would have to say he has done a fantastic job in his preservation of these strains......End of story for me, all I can say is just sit back and watch.:tiphat:

Yes mate that is from the Kariba.....I will try and get some more pics as it was a bad day for pics last time and I would also like people to see the structure on these plants.

I have just picked the Heri's so a report will be coming on them, AG13 will be done over summer and all the others are just about ready for testing as soon as they are dried.

I will try and get some info up on other things that are happening at the other farm......lots of surprises happening there:dance013:
But for me its Sativa time:jump:
Stay well...K

Yeah mate there sure was some nice looking plants this winter and a real eye opener for me to grow so many different types of Indicas......But when it comes down to it all I am a Sativa man and I dont think there is anything more Majestic than a towering Christmas tree Sativa in full flower:dance013:
This year I am making sure the Mullum stays that way as the last 2 years I let it throw off multiple trunks and it hasnt been as tall as it would with just 1 main stem.

Here are some pics of the girls off to a great start for spring.
