Cheers mate......Yep u sure got that right, got to keep them happy if everyone wants to be happy.
I have this really nice smelling Early Queen that I found out of a heap and it is just loaded with pink hairs, I am going to use her for the smell and structure as she is as tuff as nails and clones so easily and to her I have just put one of my Oaxacan males that has flowers from the stem to the tip of the branches in one long formation, true Christmas tree stuff, then I will start on the next stage mid season I hope.

Hey mate I like the 27:gday: Just wish he still rode the Ducati and it was better.

Man that sounds beautiful - a true ladies plant. In a better world, maybe the profits could go to the mcgrath foundation.

Hi Manivelle...Good to see u here and thanx for the compliment, much appreciated.
Yeah i am with u I have seen glimpses of what they can do during winter, but summer is a whole different story when it comes to Sats.
So far so good on the weather, we couldnt ask for a better start, but still a long way to go yet.

Ok just a quick update on a few of the crosses in the ground, after last years effort of growing them in pretty much mud, I spent nearly all winter preping the soil so that didnt happen again.
It was worth it as the plants are aproaching the 5ft mark and its only mid spring. I put that down to the soil and the insane hybrid vigour that these plants are expressing.
First Ill start with some small heads of the SSH female that I kept from last years crop of SSH's and crossed it to males from my Mullumbimby White Widow cross, this plant as with the other crosses is showing signs of having huge yields and along with the Mullum /SSH cross it's showing signs of being a early flowering, although the flowering time could still be a problem for other latitudes, guess that question will be answered at seasons end.

The Mazar x Oaxacan Widow cross is showing signs of looking like the Mazar but with the Oax/WW size and vigour.....both of these strains are extremely mold resistant and this should also produce massive buds.

Hey Bundy thanx as always mate and yep I can wait as well, thats the trouble with Sats they are always the biggest and latest.....anyway good to season to u to..cheers K

Hi Kitcha....Lol she must have been pretty sticky:)
No mate the early Mulum was my Mullum crossed to a clone I got from a friend in Mullum who had, had it for years, but was earlier flowering than mine so I just worked on it to get the flowering time down....loks like the hard work has payed off....I am sure some very good crosses are going to come out using these females.
Dont really know flowering times on this one yet, but this is the earliest they have come off for the winter crop.

Hi Afro and thanx mate....Yeah it's getting me looked after well I can tell you....might have to keep it going for a few years yet:dance013:

Ok thought I would put up some pics of 2 trainwreck pheno's that I have just crossed the S#5 to I like the sencond one the best, but they still have to be tested to be sure.

Hi all.....Just another pic to keep the bud porn coming.
Today we went through some Mr nice shit females and came up with this girl here for having all the right qualities and smell and will be reveged to see how it goes for summer.
I must say I am definetly enjoying working with the Indicas, usually you dont see this much bud on the Sats even though they go out earlier.

I just wanted to pop in again and and say thanks to Bushy for the History of the Mullumbimby breakdown and to Kanga for the killer plant shots/info. Great thread!

Kanga, hope all is well with you and yours. I gotta say, that Shit keeper looks stellar. Hope you find what you're looking for in her.

One quick question for you, Mr. Kanga: How's the Maple Leaf coming along?

HB.

Hi HB.. good to see u again and yes I totally agree with u on the shit:dance013: and I am sure we will.
Ok the Maple leaf is coming along fine and so far a selection has been made and I have crossed S#5 males to her, this could change as they mature more, but I am told this is one the original.
Here is a pic of her.

Ok I would like to put up some pics of something that I find very exciting, and that is during my crossing of the Mullums to find a early flowering one it seems this year I have a plant that has thrown back to the Thai that was possible part of the original cross. I have never seen this before, so as you can imagine I am pretty excited.
I have crosses of Kariba#2 crossed to 5 different Nev Haze males that are at this moment sexing out so I will put the males to this plant.
This plant is also in my good patch so I can keep a good eye on her during the season and have regular updates.

Yeah mate she is isnt she, I cant wait to see her when she goes into full growth mode. I would like to see her as a christmas tree type, but that wont happen because I have to cut all the seeded branches off.

Hi ya BH....Nice to see you around.

Yeah I also look forward to seeing all these indicas finish off properly, in the ground and not just with winter heads.

Ok re the Grail as you know creating a Sativa hybrid does not happen overnight, especially with the ones that are going into this and secondly this is Bushy's thread, although I seem to have hijacked it, so I dont want the same thing to happen here that happened over there.
It is being documented and will be put up in one long thread at sometime in the future...as for a update, it is coming along very nicely:gday:

You will see the best Nev Hazes flowering this summer, along with the Mullums, Kariba x NHs and Oaxacans, no other Africans are being done.
My only landraces I am doing this year are the Mazar's, Thai's which include some personal stock collected from the Hmong and still grown in Thailand, and a nice female Pavarti that I have just selected from a few.
Here are some shots of her.
